There was no ice in the entire hotel and the pool was a dirty green. Before a person books a room we should be told about not being able to use the pool and no ice is just a waste of money I could have stayed somewhere else!

Katrina, at front desk, was exceptional. There were minor issues with the room and we declined a new room. Hot breakfast exceeded our expectations. The ice machine was broke the 3 days we were there. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Carpets appeared old and needed cleaning and the halls and lobby had floor fans running at all times for some reason . The staff I encountered were great! Luggage carts had bad wheels making them hard fto use.

This hotel had the best reviews for the area. Our room was clean and comfortable. The lobby and overall hotel was not clean. The poor front desk lady was running all around (short staffed). We had to wait 15min before she was at the desk to help because she had to clean a room for someone else. Overall it was just okay.

Bathroom was certainly lacking. The tub needed cleaning, painting and/or replacing. It was very dingy, stained and dirty. The first room there was no water running in tub and I was moved to another room and the second room tub was the pits.

As you drive up to the front entrance, the covered driveway is roped off because part of the roof is collapsing and hasn’t been repaired. Also, the hotel flag is shredded on its edges and looks ragged. Both give a bad impression of the weathered condition of the hotel. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and musty carpet. The bathtub had yellow ring stains at the drain and there were only two sets of towels provided though the reservation was for four people. The staff was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was great and the attendant on duty at 8:30 did an excellent job with customer service and provisions. Both night and day desk persons were friendly and very helpful. The facility needs some TLC and much needed inside and outside repairs/updating from the owners to improve customer satisfaction for the $149. nightly rate.

This property was very comfortable and enjoyable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had the best water pressure. Staff was friendly and helpful. This property was very full (at capacity) and breakfast was hot, fresh, and fully stocked. My only wish is that there was hooks for hanging handbags and totebags. The carpet and bedding is almost at the point of needing to be replaced but they were very clean nonetheless. Excellent stay. Will definitely come again.

Microwave cuts off in the middle of heating food. Housekeeping didn’t vacuum and didn’t leave any clean towels. I called front desk to let them know about the towels and was told to come get them. Charging station for cell phones didn’t work. Didn’t leave any cups and coffee.

It was very clean and quiet but the tv had only a few channels and there were no lotions or shampoo in the bathroom.Questioned the very nice Dorothy about charges through Expedia and she agreed with charges but charged $615 for one night.

Very nice room. Plenty of space. The shower needs some work. It was impossible to get enough hot water through the shower so it was always lukewarm. Thus the four stars rather than five.

This was an overnight stay which met our needs. Staff did not engage. Upon arrival had to use the lobby phone to get employee to check in at the desk as it appeared no one was there at about 6 pm. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory with hot and cold items including fruit. We couldn't wait to get on our way.

The pool was closed with no explanation on the hottest day in cannon ms.The cook was very opinionated in what the kids choose to eat.Also we came down 1 hour 30 min before breakfast was over and the cook made us aware that she would not make more eggs because it takes too long.we are a family who doesnt eat pork so we look forward to having eggs and she wouldnt make more.because it was an incovience to her i had 4 kids with me i was very disappointed

They allowed us to check in early n I greatly appreciate that.. we were able to get breakfast that morning and the next. Staff was super friendly. The style is still the old layout, they could do some updates but overall it was a great stay.

The staff and hotel itself are fantastic. The room is comfortable and clean. The area is quiet. The breakfast and ladies that prepare and serve are wonderful. The area around the hotel is dated and adjacent hotels are of lower rating and quality. Overall I have nothing but positive things to say about my stay at Hampton Inn Canton, MS.
