The property is under construction. It appears to be an older hotel getting an update. This is not stated anywhere on the website or otherwise. The check in area looks like you're entering a closet. The Gym, under construction. The free breakfast, small room with not much to offer. Hotel room was clean. Shower and tub look original where the tile grout has been painted to look clean and new. Worst part was the construction on the guest floors. No way to sleep in and in your sensitive to smells, this is not the place for you while under construction. I think when it's done it will be nice. Just would have been good to know when booking. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel felt high-end, and the staff was warm and welcoming. It was a safe, relaxing, pleasant one night stay. Some highlights: Comfortable beds Ample storage for suitcases and clothing Clean bathroom Clean beds and room Comfortable, fluffy pillows Desk with comfortable chair Dresser Convenient outlet between both beds Nice towels Incredible toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, bar soap (I even purchased the body wash, it is wonderful). Outdoor pool Absolutely no scent in the room whatsoever (Definitely a plus. It just felt clean inside the entire building).

The lobby and common areas smell like a nursing home. I thought that I'd have to check out immediately but the front desk informed me that the rooms had been recently renovated. The rooms were nice. The bedding and mattresses were above average. I had a problem with the AC which seemed to malfunction at night. This was disruptive and caused sweaty conditions in the middle of the night. I informed the front desk. It wasn't fixed during my stay.

The staff was exceptional and provided outstanding assistance. Our check-in process was quick, with staff readily available to address all our inquiries. The room was clean. The only drawback during our stay was the noise pollution. There was significant stomping from the upstairs guests and our adjacent neighbors. Nevertheless, our stay was generally pleasant.

The Hotel Avante was great. While the hotel has basic services it does have a pool and the staff are lovely. The rooms are large and very comfortable. It is strategically located between Mountain View, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Etc which is great as you can get to all the major areas within 15 to 20 minutes. I like this hotel, and I have stayed here quite some times now and I will stay again.

Check in and check out was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and shower was great. Bed was comfortable. Walkable neighborhood once you get off the main road. Some free tea, coffee, and juices in the morning. I did not partake in the offerings, but the juices looked very nice! Property needs a major overhaul though. Old, dingy carpets, and the doors to the rooms look tired and worn. Hallways are small and dimly lit. Elevator rattles a bit, but it is not scary (in my opinion). The elevator to the right people are mentioning in other reviews is not in service right now. Overall, we got a good deal for the area and only stayed for one night, so we were satisfied with what we received for our money. If they make some upgrades, this would be a really nice hotel!

The rooms were a little tight and the tv was small and pixelated. The fruit offered during the day needs to be changed regularly. The in room cups, coffees, etc. replenished daily, and the refrigerator was colder than most hotels.

I was honestly pretty surprised at this property after seeing all the positive reviews. Everything was super dated and felt a little dingy. I heard the housekeeping team rolling cart at 3am, and generally a lot of sound transfer. The sheets were so itchy - not sure if it was something they used or just over starching. The room was also sweltering even though I had the AC turned on. Ultimately I took a loss and booked another hotel for the last 2 nights of a 3 night stay.

The front staff person who checked me in was so nice, friendly, and accomodating. I liked the southwestern vibe of the room. My only complaint was that the A/C in the room didn’t work (I sleep better when the room is cold). Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay and the staff kept the linens and towels and bathroom very clean but the carpeting was older and dated and needed an upgrade. Trouble with air conditioning unit thermostat. Pool area was lovely. Bar fridge did not work.

RJ was magnanimous with his huge posative personality that radiated genuine! Kristen offered amenities above and beyond as well as supporting my business at the festival. Even the housekeeper left a nice note and candy. I will stay here only when in town.

This was a fantastic property to stay at. Lovely staff-with a special call out to JR! Dedicated personnel to make your stay comfortable, great room size, quiet rooms, wonderful location to a lot of sights. I was there for an extended stay and this is a place no one should miss if you’re looking for great service. I worked in my room, exercised, and drove to what I needed. They owned the parking area and it was always clean and safe. The housekeeping staff was awesome.

This was our first stay at this hotel. Overall condition were good. Its an older hotel that has been remodeled. Our only compaint is that we didnt get our depsit refunded. We habe had to call multiple time and have still not had it returned. Keep in mind the room was paid for in advance.

Bedding choices were poor. We stayed cold most of the night because no comforters are offered - so if you want warmth you have to turn on one of those super noise hotel fan heaters. No breakfast offered, other than pay for a prepackaged sandwich. Basic internet is free. Parking is easy and available.
