Aloft by Marriott Mountain View

The staff was very friendly, easy going and accomodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the room darkening capababilities of the window treatments. Slept better than I do at my own house. The lobby games were fun. The fresh popcorn was a nice touch.

Booked this stay for a soccer tournament in the area. Chose Aloft MV based on advertised bed sizes, vinyl/laminate flooring rather than carpet, swimming pool availability, proximity to field locations, and price point comparable to similar class of hotels in the region. Customer service was first rate. Chris in the evening at check in and Kenny in the morning at check out covered all of our questions and needs quickly and efficiently. They were both very friendly and clearly understand the value of excellent customer service. This isn’t always a given in the hospitality industry these days so kudos to general management on your front end team. Our room was clean and spacious. Credit to the housekeeping staff. Bathroom and shower decor was certainly a plus. These are the primary reasons I would return to this location and definitely recommend others stay here. This was a very family friendly establishment with the swimming pool, pool table, and board games in the lobby area. A bar open late for the adults with multiple well designed and aesthetically pleasing seating areas. Intelligent layout with an area near the pool outside for close proximity to your children, and a separate outdoor seating area away from the pool for those seeking a respite from the raucous excitement of youth. The fitness room on the first floor with an exterior door direct to pool access is an underrated placement detail. Always a fan of well thought out spaces and flows in a minimally sized footprint.

Such a fun concept for a hotel. The pool table in the lounge area, the movie corner with popcorn and all of the fun games available. We essentially loved the outdoor seating areas and fire pit.

It is a good value. Typical ALoft energetic vibe--the lobby bar was busy at 10:30pm on Thursday night. But the room is quiet and I slept well.

I was disappointed this ride around. No bar. No swimming pool, no kitchen services. Most of the amenities I was looking forward to were not available . This was my second stay and not worth what I paid

Wonderful clean property. Comfortable stay. Nice staff. Loved that the rooms have hardwood floors instead of carpet. The only thing was that I wished we would have known about the parking fee prior to booking.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The pool and workout room was good.

We had a quick overnight stay here before heading to the Dicken’s Fair in Daly City. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Parking was free. There were activities in the lobby to entertain children and the pool was heated.

We did enjoy our stay at this property for the most part. We didn’t feet to use the pool as it was too small and always occupied. They can improve the breakfast ordering situation as it appeared very hectic and unorganized with long wait times for what seemed like a fast-foodish breakfast sandwich. The gym is well-equipped and clean and the games and pool table in the lobby area nice touch and very entertaining. Also, a shoutout to the bartender for fabulous lemon drop, though I would change the OJ brand used for other cocktails (had a strange after taste)! Overall, very pleasant!

Nice and clean room. Minimal amenities and inattentive staff. Room service was every other day. So I requested a new set of towels and coffee replenishment but they were not fulfilled. When I came back late in the day and called front desk, I was told it would be sent up. After 30 minutes of waiting I decided to use old towels and went to bed. No one came.

The staffs are nice but no daily cleaning service. We stayed for 3 nights with two rooms. One room never get cleaned during the stay one upon our request changed towels only.

Plenty of parking. Easy check in. Pleasant staff. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Loved the black out blinds!

I needed a quiet stay for the weekend. It was great. The only thing was they forgot to clean my room while I was out btw 9:30am-7:30pm but because I was traveling alone it fortunately wasn’t an issue for me. I did let front desk know upon checkout. They were very apologetic and eager to follow up with housekeeping. I would come here again.

Staff were very friendly, did not try the breakfast. However the bathroom was dusty and sink clogged.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. It was easy to keep a consistent temperature and the lights that were operated bedside were awesome! Our needs were met quickly and professionally.

Everything was great. The room was clean and nice. Only con was that I could hear my neighbors above me and next to me though.

The tv didn’t work and the heat ac unit makes a big noise. You can tell the hotel seems to be recently renovated but the air conditioning is old!!

This is my third or fourth time staying at this hotel. Overall, it's a nice place with spacious rooms, and I really enjoy the games available in the lobby. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially when it comes to early check-ins, which I appreciate. However, the walls are quite thin—you can hear noise from neighboring rooms and from upstairs, which can be disruptive. Check-in is at 3 PM and checkout is at 12 PM. One recurring issue during my last two stays is that housekeeping knocks on the door around 10 AM and seems surprised to find guests still inside. They even ask what time you plan to leave, which feels a bit early considering checkout isn’t until noon. Overall, this particular stay was the least enjoyable out of all my visits. While the hotel does have some good qualities, I’m uncertain if I’ll be coming back.

If you’re on a budget rooms are ok but walls are thin that you can hear the people in the other room.

They really need smart TVs. But the rooms are big, the gym was nice, the staff was really friendly.

I have stayed in several Alofts & I would say this was the most disappointing. Rooms were mediocre, could hear next door. Pillows were horrible. It just reminded me of an old place that was upgraded decor to fit the Aloft theme.

Room was clean TV remote needs to be replace so much issues with it replace batteries and it’s not that the buttons have to be press supper hard and still don’t work a it should only when it feels like it so it’s the remote that is not working period.

I received an email the day of check-in stating i have been relocated to a different hotel! the hotel i was relocated to was TERRIBLE! If you need to move me last minute, you better give me an upgrade. NOT A DOWNGRADE!

My favorite hotel and the staff is 5 stars. Thumbs up as always

We checked into two rooms at about 5 pm and left our bags, then headed out to a concert. When we returned a few hours later, one room key wouldn't work. The front desk fixed the key to get into the room where we left our bags (which matched the number on the envelope I was given at check-in). Our items were rummaged through, and many were stolen, including credit cards and personal items. The toilet seat was lifted, and there was a second paper key holder envelope lying on the bed that didn’t belong to us. A police report was filed. The evening auditor tried to help by calling the front desk staff who worked earlier, but they couldn't do anything. I was told a manager wouldn't come on duty until 10 am the next day. We followed up with the front desk staff the next morning; found out that the manager wasn’t coming in. After we requested again, the manager came in but claimed that none of her staff informed her of the situation but was willing to help to look into the case. She said she would check the keys log, look at videos, etc. She also promised that she would not charge us for the room. But none of her promises come true. We called to follow up, and she hasn’t done anything. We didn’t get the refunds she promised.

The front desk staff was amazing. I had an appointment in Palo Alto. Didn’t know how long it would last. Staff offered a late checkout for my wife. These young ladies were amazing. Bar staff was excellent as well! Kudos to the entire team at Aloft Mountain View!

Place is awesome. Staff is very friendly love the vibe and positivity! Only thing I did not like was I repeatedly asked the front desk agent not to give my room key to the person I was staying with as he was dealing with something I can’t mention but continued to do so after I checked out of the room. Did not like that at all!!!! She was very sweet but should probably take note bc the room was only under my name.

Location was great! Clean, safe, upgraded and friendly staff. One critique and this is preference, I would have rather had a clothes iron versus a steamer (didn’t work well). Overall, great stay and close to Levi Stadium.

The hotel is close to El Camino Hospital.

It was a wonderful stay with my husband and two young kids. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took the kids for a swim in the afternoon and were the only people in the pool, which was nice. The breakfast was good, but would love more protein options.

I really love Alofts! They are consistently clean and have great rooms. The customer services was great and it was wonderful to have complimentary hot beverages in the morning along with the option for breakfast. The outside patio was a nice place to relax and the gym was very well equipped. I would stay here again.

The staff was friendly. The room did not get cleaned and the coffee supplies were not refilled. The room was comfortable, and the pool was a good temperature. There was no breakfast buffet or room service. Parking was easy and affordable. The hotel is conveniently located. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Clean bar is nice

My sister and I checked in on 8/24/24, we were given room 221 within 15 minutes of being in our room the toilet wasn’t flushing, I called the front desk and was told to jiggle the handle, which we had already tried and it didn’t work. I had to take off the cover on the tank and push down on the black part that fills up the tank, that made it work. The next morning my sister was in the shower and the water wasn’t going down the drain, I called the front desk and the lady was very helpful she got me another room so I could use the shower which I much appreciated, we then found out there was no breakfast being served because the whole breakfast crew didn’t show up for work!! We weren’t even offered a coupon to go have breakfast somewhere! This was my second stay at ALOFT and I think it will be my last!! This hotel is under staffed, no maintenance people at the hotel, maybe management problems?? Someone needs to look into what is going on at this hotel, for this hotel to have Marriott’s name attached it should be run better. I was not happy with my stay!! Rachel
