Hampton Inn Denver-Northwest/Westminster

We stayed Sat-Sat. The wi-fi wasn’t working and we were never notified if it was fixed. The pool was open but the water was green and horrible looking. The breakfast was decent and offered a variety of options. Everything was clean and well kept. Amble parking and safe location.

Pool, gym, wifi, hot tub all down for maintenance and not operable during my stay. Walls are paper thing could hear kids a floor under me screaming like they were in my room. Had a tile that was loose would move every time I stepped on it. Lights were out in bathroom. Didn't clean the room when they were suppose to. The tables where you eat breakfast at all only had like one chair it was bizarre.

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. We were very disappointed that the wi-fi wasn't working for three nights and the hot tub was out of order. Some compensation for those unavailable items would have been appropriate.

We signed up this property coz it is in middle of some of the places we needed to visit, also had decent pool in the pictures... when we arrived late due to other issues with flight and traffic, learned that pool is out of order. It was very big disappointment. We were not in the mood to find another location near by nor want to argue with front desk staff and ask for refund.

Clean room and very comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning. The pool was in rough shape and the jacuzzi didn’t work we were a little disappointed as that was part of picking a place to stay. Otherwise very satisfied.

No wifi Fitness center was pathetic, no weights. Couldn't work out Stained/filthy chair No shower gel, even after notifying the front desk No business center I felt like I was a bait and switch TV was 20 years old

Our room was clean and the staff was great, but the facility needs some updating - especially lighting. Also, the hot tub didn't work.

Hot tub and internet out of order. No sitting area except dining room and only one chair per table. The room isn’t lighted except during breakfast and there is nowhere to sit and read outside the room. When one person gets up earlier than their companion it is nice to have an area to sit and read and drink coffee. It would be nice to have cold water and coffee available in the lobby

The pool was also great.

Very old hotel. Nothing looks updated. Very noisy, people above us were loud with their feet. They had one elevator that looked questionable. Scary with multiple people inside with you. If someone moved, the entire elevator shook. The pool looked dirty, leafs and dead bugs along the walls. The hot tub was taped off and not working. The bed was nice and comfortable. Our entire stay the WiFi kept going on and off. Their smart tv in the room worked off of WiFi. So whatever you were watching went off and on. All weekend. They knew about it but their response was always their working on it. Free breakfast was ok if you didn’t have high expectations.

We were informed upon check in the the WiFi was down.. super inconvenient but not the end of the world.. we get to our room only to realize it’s tiny.. again not the end of the world but definitely inconvenient as a family of 4. The room was absolutely filthy, soda stains all over the walls, what looked to be bloody boogers all over the wall, and what the kids named “the poop chair” because there was a very suspicious looking stain as well as MANY other stains, in every corner of the tile floor is a pile of “ick”. We also killed 3 house centipedes in our room. The bedding and shower/curtain, and the towels were all clean, the breakfast was ok, and I liked the coffee… but other than that we spent our entire stay “icked out” by the rest.

Poorly maintained, room was dirty as well as the sheets.

The pool was closed and dirty When we arrived we were given a dirty room when we returned to the lobby we were given 2 beds i stead of a king bed The hallways were dirty and not vaccumed

Very dirty inside. The hallways were disgusting. There was a toilet plunger setting in the hallway our entire stay. The chair in our room was very grimey. Put plastic bag on it before putting a suitcase on it. The outside of building. Littered with garbage. Very large weeds... On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it as solid 2 .

The chairs in the dining area are filthy, there are broken windows, dirty carpet and funky smell. There are weeds everywhere outside, even in the entry area when you first pull up. The chair in our room was simply disgusting. Badly stained. Beds were not comfortable, but bedding seemed clean and pillows were nice. A/C worked very well. We heard the folks above us very well until 12:30ish and again about 5:30 in the morning. Wish there was a way to add photos.....may go to their site to do that. I can live with "well worn", but not filthy. Will not be back.

The property needs a deep cleaning. The shower had mold in it and the chair in my room was so filthy and stained. The hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The staff was pretty nice, but things were left out of our room. I had to go ask for a bar of soap and some coffee.

This hotel does NOT have internet. They have about 7 TV channels and FILTHY.

There was black mold around the bathtub. That is a major turnoff

The hotel is overall dirty - the hallways, room, bathroom all are of the same condition. They were running out of supplies in bathroom as well as the breakfast area next morning. I wouldn’t stay in this hotel in future and won’t recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is not clean. The swimming pool looks as if there is a growth in the water. Our queen bed had hair on the sheets. We had to request clean sheets and make the bed. Mold is growing in the corners of the bathtub shower. It was an experience I would have imagined having at a Motel 6, not a Hampton.

The heater or air conditioner combo was so loud and ran most of the night. Could not sleep. And the bed was so hared it made my back worse and I was in so much pain. Room was very small.

Wifi was out the 3 days I was there

One of the worst maintained properties I’ve ever stayed at. Staff can only do so much. No wifi, ac is awful and common areas were falling apart

The room was nice other than the lounge chair was stained and worn and the room had a urine smell to it. Bed was comfy but hotel is very outdated and needs an upgrade.

My room smelled of smoke and was right next to the elevator. So very noisy.

The room and staff were great. Location was perfect for my needs. BUT, no wifi it was broken and apparently to be that way for several weeks, direct TV is cheap and was horrible. Watching a movie or show it woukd stop working and you watched a spinning square and wgen it finally came on, you had missed that portion of the movie or show. Pillows were small, soft and flat. So I reviewed it a 3. I understand electronics fail but some type of nitice or discount should have applied, especially in this day and age.

This place was very middle of the road average. I was a little disappointed knowing it was a Hampton Inn. The 1st day breakfast was okay and was stocked. Second day they were out of eggs, weird sausage things and potatoes. The milk was out and the only thing to eat at 8:30 was lemon poppy biscuit and waffles. Everything else was out of one thing or another to make it full. Like no milk for cereal, no cream cheese for bagel etc. Our bed also had clumps of hair in it, not my hair and 2 towels looked either very stained.or dirty. Beds are sooooooo hard, but at least it was quiet ebough to sleep. Would not xhoose to stay here again unless it was like on super sale and only 50 bucks a nigjt lol.

The staff were friendly and honest. Unfortunately, the hotel wi-fi was out throughout our visit and the AC didn't work.

Comfortable room and nice breakfast. My only complaint is that WiFi was down the entire 4 night stay with no indication of when or if it would ever be fixed.

TV had a blue hue, told staff multiple times and they did nothing to correct it. It was very frustrating and annoying when trying to watch tv. We paid a decent amount to stay at this hotel and couldnt even get a working tv. They pool was also not working.

Staff seemed bothered. We were double billed and staff didn’t know how to fix and manager was not on property. Side doors were not properly locked and didn’t need a hotel key to entry. No WiFi or it was “broken”.

Booked and already paid and got the confirmation. but when I went to check in , they told me everything is occupied and they don’t have any rooms left . Terrible customer service .

The hotel is fine, as a place to stay, as long as you don't mind paying both Expedia and then getting double billed by the hotel after you check out. I called the manager the day after check-out and she acknowledged the error. She said she'd refund me, but then billed me a third time. She later reversed one of the three charges, leaving me on the hook for paying twice. The manager ignored several calls and emails, and only called me back to yell at me one week later. She refused to accept evidence that I emailed her, showing a receipt from Expedia and my bank statement showing the Hotel's name and arrival date on multiple lines with different reference numbers. Again, the hotel is fine - as a place to stay, but the management is not customer-friendly, so I'd look elsewhere.

Slow checked in, took 3 Times to get the room Keys to work. The front desk receptionist not too friendly, she didn’t greets or smiles. The facility and the room need to update and upkeep. But the location is great with shops and restaurants.

Had an issue when checking in, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my family was taken care of. Very friendly and extremely kind!!

Non-functioning toilet, staff failed to repair over two days despite repeated calls and promises. Wifi broken hotel-wide.

We were called by Ashley at Hampton inn at 7:55 pm the day we were checking in (we were 90 minutes away) and cancelled our reservation because they had overbooked. They had already charged our credit card. She said she that "even though we were out of the refund window, she would refund our credit card". We had to find another hotel last minute and it was much more expensive than the room I'd booked

The place was just okay. The main reason I gave the site a 3 star and not 2, is the older gentleman who runs the evening front desk. I didn't catch his name, but just a nice genuine person. Had to change my room due to some work that needed to be done. Went from the 1st floor right by where I parked, to the 3rd floor center. Not really happy about that.

Nice location, great hotel with clean, spacious room and beds. Good breakfast as well.

This was a very pleasant stay. Good transport routes, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and a good breakfast.

Comfortable stay and the hotel is located around all the businesses and restaurants you will need.

Good location, easy access to the Denver/Boulder highway, several nice restaurants nearby

Close to Flatiron Flyer bus service. That worked great for me. Made it easy to get to downtown Denver to connect to train to Golden. Very low cost transportation options close by.

It's conveniently located right off the main highway into Downtown Denver and the Airport; also convenient to highway to Boulder. Hotel needs upgrading especially in dining area and also in rooms (no overhead lights in main area of room) but the staff was helpful and pleasant!

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. We were very disappointed that the wi-fi wasn't working for three nights and the hot tub was out of order. Some compensation for those unavailable items would have been appropriate.

The breakfast was terrible: burnt coffee with no creamer, no fruit or yogurt, watery oatmeal, few options.

Hotel is clean, has comfortable beds and is located close to our family in the area. We have stayed there numerous times in the past but customer service was sadly lacking during this visit. Breakfast options were cold, unappetizing, and tables were in dning room with no chairs. My husband asked about the absence of chairs in the dining room and dedk clerk said there was supposed to be 1 chair per table. Why 1 chair??? There are many other options in the area. i cancellled five nites i had booked there for remainder of year. Ill take my business elsewhere....

I hesitated to write a review since I normally choose Hampton Inn locations when travelling. We stayed 4 nights. I must say, I was very disappointed to say the least. There were not enough chairs in the dining room our first morning, so we came back later for breakfast which was less than par. The milk was warm, the juice was bad, and the hot food was cold. We went out for breakfast from then on. One morning, the coffee machines were broken, so no coffee that day. The lady at the front desk in the mornings was very unfriendly and told me the manager was not there, she did not have her number, and did not know when she would be coming in. I asked for our bed to be made daily, and the trash emptied. She said they only do that every other day. I let her know we needed that done each day anyway. She was very rude, but when we got back that evening our request was honored. The desk chair in our room was broken and tipped over when you sat in it. The front desk said I could take a chair from the dining room if I wanted to. (That's probably why there were not enough seats for breakfast). My last complaint was regarding having no hot water in our room. We had to run the water in the sink for more than 15 minutes before it got hotter than lukewarm. I must say, the evening staff were all very nice though. Overall, this whole experience at this hotel was very disappointing. This was my birthday week, and because of this experience, I may never choose Hampton Inn again.

The clerk was nice but not overly polite. When he checked us in he handed me our keys and said have a nice stay ladies. Didnt tell us what our room number was or where the elevator was. The room itself was ok. Outdated but not bad. We were told breakfast would be available from 6a-10a. We went down the next morning at 830. When we got down there, there was no cups for the waffle batter. I had to ask for some. There was no fresh fruit. No butter. No eggs or bacon. Only potatoes. And the juice was colored water. I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t refill breakfast when they say they’re available until 10. The next day we tried again. Made our waffles. No syrup. I asked for syrup. Got asked if I looked around. Obviously, yes I did. She told me no more syrup. Must be out. I started looking for the syrup in the drawers myself and found the box. I filled the syrup for them and the rest of the people wanting syrup. It wasn’t a horrible stay, however I don’t think I would stay there again.

Everything was ok but the egg, potato and sausage breakfast wasn't very warm.
