La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Beaumont West

No hot tub. Pool not heated.

We stayed for 3 nights and the parking lot was trashy and no one cleaned any of it while we were there. Beer cans every where and even a half gallon jar of pickles. The inside was great though. Clean room, friendly people and breakfast was pretty good too. The only issue I had was that water pressure in the shower wasn’t very good. And you couldn’t get in the door at the end of the hall because the outside lock was broke. Was a long walk to the front door when the parking lot was full. All in all I would stay there again. The aspects that really counted were great.

Updated room of light and dark grey. Beautiful photographs on the wall. Squeaky clean. Friendly staff. On the downside, inedible industrial food breakfast. Overcooked eggs. Cheap greasy sausage, precooked and microwaved. Gym cable machine handles missing.

Good hotel , but the elevator was broken

Loved having access to the laundry. Also, no exorbitant pet fee.

The only problems we had were the elevator broke down twice during our stay, and the ice machine was not working on our floor. We had to go to the 1st floor every time we needed ice. The entrance door near the pool was not working properly.

Do NOT stay here! Broken hot tub (been broken for over 2 months. Only 1 working ice Machine for the entire 3 story hotel! It took 3 rooms to find one with a working AC that didn’t smell like swamp. Bed as hard as cement, roach in my bathroom barely any place to eat & the one I chose had horrible food. The only reason I even gave a star is because the night shift lady at the front desk was very kind & accommodating.

The room was ok. There was a cookie smashed on the floor near the bottom of the bed when we arrived. The bathroom door would not stay open, the consistently moved (as if it was unlevel). The bedding was thin, hardly any blanket and no comforter. On the fiest night I had to call due to it smelling like smoke/somwthing burning in our hallway upon arrival. The second n8ght i had to call because people were being so loud we could hear them over our tv and ac unit after 10:30pm. There were constantly people milling around outside at all hoirs as well. The exterior door on the pool side of the building also never shut/locked. Anyone could just walk in without need of a key. Felt unsafe. Ice machines were broken on 1st and 3rd floors, only the second floor worked for whatever reason. The downstairs area near the pool entrance also had restrooms that smelled and needed a good clean and were marked out of order the whole stay. The breakfast was ok. You had to get there when it opened to get anything or make a waffle due to the line. There was never water available, only apple and orange juice and milk. I did like the fridge in the room and the microwave, that was nice to be able to have our own cold water and breakfast items to skip the wait downstairs. Overall the facility seems a bit run down and in need of renovation but as it was a short trip for business it did the job. In the future I would look for somewhere else that was a bit more comfortable.

Though they tried to call and let's us know the elevator was out, it was late and a lot to lug baggage up stairs. No working ice machines except for the first floor. They were polite at the desk. Other than that, the only negative was a gap under the outside door that was enough room for ANY wildlife to creep or slither in and up the stairs.

Easy check in and spacious rooms. A little musty, but ok. The gym equipment needs to be fixed. Two of the machines do not work.

The room was nice and everything but the elevator was broken and there were some dead cockroaches through the hallway.

There was roaches in room by AC and in bathroom. Hallways were dirty. Elevator was slow. Bad odor

I’d stayed here once before and really enjoyed it, which is why I came back. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this second stay. It looked like the hotel underwent some serious damage and was repaired, but poorly. There was a musty, mildew smell throughout the hotel and my room. I also believe I saw mold on the ceiling in my room, but I’m not certain. The AC struggled to cool, as well. I hope things change for the better.

I like the clean, tropical atmosphere of the exterior of the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Hotels.com had listed with a hot tub and there was not one. The rooms smelt damp, having a distinct uncomfortable odor. However, rooms were clean, property appeared to be in a safe, good location conveniently located near restaurants.

I stay here anytime I am in Beaumont. As always, check in was quick and easy, room was clean and it is remarkably quiet.

The state of the hotel is older and there is a definite feeling of age to the rooms. They do supply a mini-frig, but the only sink is in the bathroom. The beds and bathroom did the job, and the AC was cool. Breakfast was fine, but didn't have a lot of options.

Location close to highway was great. The AC was very noisy. Very loud.

Very thin walls, could hear tv and people in adjacent room. Smelled mold, set off my husbands and daughters allergies. Beds were rock hard. Room was clean.

Staff were friendly, helpful, quick check in, rooms were spacious and nice. Pool was nice as well.

WiFi was not the greatest, television was not able to hook up Netflix. Over all it was ok, bed comfortable.

Room tv remote in 318 does not change channels to watch a show from the guide. It needs an update. Very frustrating when you have to go to every channel in order to get what you want. Also heater said to use wall thermostat. None exist. We changed rooms. Thank you front desk.

It was good except for the noise the acmade and it made it all night could not sleep at all

Checked in at 11ish. The room was 85 degrees and took over an hour to cool down. The room had a musty odor. NO TV in the room. Two holes in the floor beside the bed. Weird! And the toilet wouldn’t flush unless you took the back off and jiggled to make it fill with water!!!!! So, it was not a good choice of a hotel….at all. Room 227!! I don’t recommend .

I dont like that i havent recieved my deposit back for absolutely no reason. Its been almost a week.

Toilet lid was so loose it was barely usable Staff did nothing to fix it even tho told several times Elevator was broken several times Key locks to side doors did not work Staff did nothing to fix I have stayed at La Quinta many times before This was by far the worst Very disappointing I feel gypped

Average across the board. I arrived and waited about 15 minutes to be checked in due to the front desk being unoccupied. Upon entering my room on the 2nd floor, I was hit with a musty smell that lingered for the 2 days I was there. The room itself was otherwise pretty clean, and honestly comfortable. The bathroom’s fan is set to run the entire time you have the light on, so the droning sound of the overhead fan is blaring any time you have to be in the restroom. Otherwise, it’s in a good, convenient location. The breakfast was palatable, housekeeping and other workers were kind and courteous, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. Unfortunately, the smell really turned me off, and it might be in part of it being in Beaumont, where humidity is very prominent.

Do not stay here! The management shut down their computer system and would not allow us to check in to our room that we booked 8 hours before arriving. It was late at night after a long day of driving and they would not check us in due to resetting their system for a system check. They did not communicate to us before hand. Completely unprofessional

The staff was very nice, which means and shows a lot. We were allowed to check in early. Room was nice and neat. Breakfast was actually really good. My only little thing I didn’t like, was the switch for the restroom light also turned on the vent. I wake up early to get myself ready before waking up the kids and husband and the vent was very loud and got annoying after a while. But other than that little thing, it was a great stay, great location and we would definitely stay again. We always enjoy staying at most La Quinta locations.

I had booked this stay months in advance to go to a local event that was going on in Ford Arena. I booked a suite with a seperate bedroom which i paid extra for. Upon arrival i was informed they had given away my reservation and my only option was a standard room. They offered no extra amenities or compensation for the difference and the front desk attendant was actually quite rude about the entire interaction going so far as to suggest it was my/Hotel.coms fault. This has never happened to me before and i book my stays all the time through my Hotels.com account. It was a Saturday night and around 530 in the evening so i just accepted the circumstances for what they were rather than seek another stay somewhere else as my options were very limited at that point. On top of that at about 930 that evening the fire alarm went off and everyone had to spend about anhour and a half outside waiting for the situation to be resolved.

Clean and well keep and the front desk was always kind and super helpful especially when my keycard stopped working go me a new one instantly i would definitely recommend this hotel.

My son left his phone outside un the back and the staff found it as we were leaving; realizing he had lost it and in a hurry to get to work, they returned it to us!!! Very good and honest staff. Loved the stay but this is what won us over. Thank you again for being so kind and just good people!

Check in lady was nice then when they did the switch changes . The new lady was just staring when we was just walking by . No greeting or nothing . .

The area is not in a good part of town. There was a shooting a couple blocks down

Convenient location to Tesla Supercharger and I-10. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable room.

Clean room in a quiet area close to everything you need

The only thing I didn’t like was the parking lot. It was very clustered. But other than that it was a very nice visit as far as hotel staying goes.

Property was well maintained and nice little mall area next to it, convenient to restaurants, the only down fall a closed and ran down sonic property next to motel

perfect location right off the freeway, easy check-in and parking, and can’t go wrong with pappadeaux across the street !!

This hotel was close to the freeway. It was conveniently located to the venue for Lamar University’s Graduation. Clean hotel.

The bathroom towels are amazing and their breakfast is so good.

Excellent overnight stop. We’ve stayed here on a couple of occasions. The breakfast is a little disappointing but overall a great hotel.

Exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, breakfast quality and staff friendliness. Convenient location off I-10 with good food options in the area. Would stay here again

The bacon is always the best there

Overnight stay on a long road trip met my need. The breakfast did have biscuits which was nice
