Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol

Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable but the smoke from the casino was too much. When entering hotel, at check in and when trying to gamble the smoke from the Casino was overpowering.

Big comfy rooms with giant TV, free wifi, good coffee. Valet parking was affordable and friendly. Lots of food options including a 24 hour coffee shop. Every staff member that we met was amazing. The gym is off of the pool and is well equipped with lots of circuit machines. Towels and bottled water are provided for pool and gym. The pool is worth the visit. It is an indoor/outdoor heated pool that you can swim through. The water was 85° when I was there. Outside temp was in the 40°s so the steam pillowing off the water in clouds was pretty as the sun set. There is a lovely attendant at the pool to assure fresh towels and offer waters. They let me know the water temps as I arrived. The outdoor hot tub looked to seat 10 or so and I was told it was 110°.

Great stay with updated facilities. Loved everything about our stay and wishes I could have stayed longer. Only downside, we were required to pay a resort fee of $14.99 above the Expedia charges. I did not see this on the Expedia website or at least it was not obvious.

Plenty self or valet parking. Easy check in. Couple made reservations separately but the clerk made sure we were together on the same floor. Non smoking hotel. Spacious modern room. Espresso machine! Personalized music for room. Hard Rock Cafe and shop in same area. Enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. Worst part was smoking casino right outside the hotel door. Non-smoking casino on lower floor inaccessible from hotel elevator.

Wonderful pool, lots of restaurants and great spa.

Property has huge parking lot and great activities. Several dining areas with good variety. Lobby is large and nicely decorated. The only negative was the lack of coffee available. Espresso is in the room, but you must go to the lobby for a cup of coffee and it was empty pots for extended periods.

Hotel is very nice. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I left my key in the room and got a new one with no hastle. Casino is nice and the food in the restaurant is very good (late night and during the day). Prices are very reasonable also. The casino allows smoking at the majority of its machines. Sports on large screens throughout the casino. Huge selection of slot games and even has tables (black Jack, craps etc…). Room was very expensive in my eyes. But it’s a popular location. It’s about 15 min from the Bristol motor speedway. Recommend.

The best place in town for comfort, food, and of course gambling. I was offered a late check out (no charge) just so I can enjoy the pool that’s been recently upgraded. The rooms were clean, spacious, nice tv, bathroom was very nice, and I slept on a cloud. They have Cabanas with huge tvs pool side and I believe they have some sort of concession stand ( I’m pretty sure).The staff was amazing. The hotel is beautiful but the staff is what did it for me. I mean just very cheerful, informative, and seemed so excited to be of help… definitely will be returning the place is huge so I have to double back to catch the live entertainment, the spa and win so money…

The Hard Rock in Bristol was easily the nicest casino we’ve been to in the Southeast and only a few hours drive from where we live. The casino was well-equipped with many table games and slot machines, the decor was fabulous and the staff went out of their way to be welcoming! It doesn’t hurt that we left the Hard Rock with more money than we came with and super happy about our winnings playing Roulette and the slots! We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe and the food was out of this world! I had the best mushrooms/swiss burger and also tried the twisted mac-n-cheese (highly recommend!). They had live music in multiple areas of the casino, and I’ve been told that every weekend offers live bands, which is great entertainment while gaming. We stayed in the hotel on Friday night and can honestly say that the room was beautiful, the staff accommodating and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

We stopped by this new hotel-casino to break our drive from NOVA to NC. The casino itself is relatively small, but we found it to be ok. We weren’t expecting Vegas quality considering the location, but the staff were friendly. The line for drinks was very long, food is somewhat limited IMO, and expect the smell of cigarette smoke (like most casinos). The hotel itself was renovated pretty well, and checkin went smoothly. We were on the third floor and unfortunately we had to make a noise complaint by calling the front desk at 2am due to vibrations from the music keeping us awake (on a Thursday). My main complaint was the dirty bedding which I cannot overlook at any hotel. There is no reason for it, especially for a newly renovated facility, and while I did report it at checkout, I should have probably asked for our money back due to our disrupted sleep and the fact I had to sleep on top of the bedding. It was later in the evening when we noticed it, else I would have asked for a different room. We will not return most likely and I suggest you set your expectations before you go.

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Stay at Hard Rock Hotel Dear Hard Rock Hotel Management, I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the standards I expected from Hard Rock. Throughout my stay, there were multiple days when housekeeping did not clean my room, despite my repeated requests to the staff to ensure it was serviced. Even after reminding them, my room remained untouched on several occasions, which was frustrating and inconvenient. In addition, despite switching rooms three times, every room I was given still smelled strongly of cigarettes. This was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable for a non-smoking guest experience. The most upsetting issue occurred on the final day of my stay. I returned to my room to find that my watch, earrings, and a pair of shoes had disappeared. I immediately reported this to the hotel and was advised to speak with security. However, no one from your team has contacted me since, which is both concerning and unacceptable given the seriousness of the matter. I expect an immediate update regarding the status of your investigation and the recovery of my belongings. Additionally, I would like to know what steps you will take to address these issues and ensure this does not happen to other guests. I look forward to your prompt response.

Hotel was excellent! Staff was friendly and accommodating! Only issue was we asked to have room serviced on second day of stay, trash was not removed from room and clean wash clothes were not left.

This hotel is super nice. Lots of food on property, rooms are super clean and variety of items for entertainment just as gambling and live music. Enjoyed the concert with Billy Bob & the Boxmasters. This is my second time to stay here.

Very clean, very comfortable beds.

Check-in staff was friendly. Room was lovely with a great view of the mountains. Room had espresso machine. Would prefer regular coffee in the room, but there was a station set up in the lobby. Wish we had more time to check out the pool, but were just passing through town.

Checking in was seamless, the elevator makes weird cracking noises, the hotel room was beautiful. We only stayed one night so we purchased a standard King. The rooms were clean, bed was cozy. Whoever designed the bathroom doesn't know how to design as it was way too busy. I loved they have robes. The service throughout the whole casino was top tier. The only thing I didn't like was how small the non smoking part of the casino was. No electronic blackjack was there. And they really need a microwave in the rooms or somewhere on site to use. It was crazy to me that they didn't have one as many people could use it.

Room was clean. The doors slam shut and if you’re in a connecting room, the door to that is paper thin. We could hear everything our neighbor was doing. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper but overall not terrible.

Very pleasantly surprised ! From the front desk , the casino attendants , to the wait staff at Council Oaks… all fabulous . The room was clean , beds comfy .. Would stay here again for sure !!!

Convenient, new , no assistance with luggage For a Hotel Casino I thought this was odd didn’t have cart for bring in luggage. Front desk charges $50 for early check in it was 1pm. Really! No personal element exhibited just straight forward collecting money and check in directions! It was not busy’

It was a nice hotel. The room was amazing. The food in the restaurant was great. The smoking in the casino was a little too much but the non-smoking casino on the lower level was great. The only issue we had was at checkout. We were considering staying an extra night but the agent behind the desk couldn't tell us if there were any rooms available because I booked through hotels.com. She wasn't very friendly about letting us know that either.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and mentioned it at check in. We dropped off our bags headed out and there was a card under the door to wish us a happy anniversary signed by the staff.

Then we attended the Ron White event, hilarious, so glad he came to Bristol! Then we enjoyed the rest of the night in the casino and exploring the resort. Everyone was so nice and pleasing. The room was gorgeous and so comfy. Very clean.

Room was very nice and comfortable. Excellent service, staff responded quickly when I reported a problem with the TV in the room.

Was a great stay. My husband went in to see if a room was available and the lady was very rude to him. When i came in i had a different person and she was great

Room was excellent. Had fun in the casino. Ate at the food court, Fish and Chicken. Unfortunately the food was not the best. It had clearly been sitting there a while. I attribute it to us being there on a week night when there was not much activity. Other than that everything else was great.

The suite was very modern and clean. The staff were nice and professional. The restaurants were good. And the concert was awesome! Gambling was fun also!

Clean but games were not enjoyable. Food places were very limiting. Just a plain hotel

There was an undisclosed resort fee when I booked and I was required to use a valet to bring my bags up to the room, so a tip was needed, then a 6oz glass of house wine and a glass of soda was $20 even though we were gambling max amount each round. Felt nickel and dimed. Gambled at the bar where they offered food items. Bar surface was full of crumbs and sticky. Otherwise one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed at. Staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. Gambling was fun with a nice assortment of machines. But didn't gamble as much as I felt stingy after added fees.
