Absolutely loved staying at Paradise on the Beach. I stayed with my Mum and we both had the best time. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the pool was quiet and beautiful, the bbq facilities really clean so we could cook rather than eating out every night too. Just across the road from the beach and surrounded by fabulous restaurants so the location couldn’t be better.

Excellent location in the hub of Palm Cove, beachfront with many dining options only moments away. If you wished to stay on the property there is an excellent pool, spa area and outdoor kitchen with bbqs and seating available. My only grumble would be that there needs to be a tea towel and dish detergent supplied in the apartments..

Please note that the shower is over the bath and the couch is low so it is not good for people with mobility issues. Accessibility is great and the staff were super helpful. Daily cleaning of the pool and surrounds was great and the spa is amazing.

Everything was great except the parking. If you didn’t get back early you have to hunt around for a place to park.. we went out for dinner in port Douglas and were not late back but had to park around the other side of the resort.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the welcoming pleasant staff, beautiful pool area and close proximity of all Palm Cove has to offer. Nothing bad about it;however, the first come parking could be awkward if the place was busier. Also loved the proper laundry facilities and YES this place has a lift!!.

I took a cheap room, it was a little noisy at times with scraping chairs above me and the vacuum cleaner going from 7.30am. Nothing some ear plugs didn’t fix. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The pool was clean and great for a relaxing swim.

In the middle of the resort with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Directly opposite beach and supervised swimming area. Not the most modern rooms but clean enough and good value for money. Highly recommended.

Ok, so, it’s in a convenient location for the beach, restaurants, bars. The hotel staff were very nice. The room itself was clean but it’s a little dated and could do with an upgrade. It’s noisy at night as it’s so close to the bars etc. There are only 8 or 9 parking spaces so if you get back later it’s street parking. One night we had to park half a mile down the road.

Location good but did not like the fact our unit had no kitchen sink which meant cleaning dishes in the bathroom sink. Also no outside balcony and our view was of the roof top with ocean viewed above the roof.

We stayed here 9 years ago and both the hotel and Palm Cove are as lovely as we remember them to be. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was good, aircon was good and supplemented by fans. The hotel and apartment had recently been redecorated. Whilst on site parking is limited we always got a spot. The hotel is directly opposite the beach and very near the swimming net.

The facility is very dated and not maintained well. At least for the price we paid for. In my opinion, A 3 stars is lucky. There is no windows, the sliding door opens to the court yard, which right face to the BBQ, outdoor dining area, pool and spa. no privacy at all. The bathroom was very old, the shower is over the bath, the glass screen was attached so badly to the bath and try to stop the water from the shower onto the floor. A lot of water was on the floor from the taking a shower. I booked through Expedia, i didn't realzied that there is no service at all for this 6 days booking. I accept that there is $60 fee for one service. But no change of towels for 6 nights stay is a bit too much for us especially it's a tropical seaside reef holiday. On the check in, there was only the key handleed over to us, wifi password , no direction at all. We are on the 1st floor, thought the reception is 1st floor, but mistakenly, there is a ground floor. A bit disappointed ..., we have to come back to ask... I wouldn't recommeded it to anyone for that price.

This was the best service I’ve received in years. The receptionist should get a pay rise. Was treated like royalty. The room was beautiful. Will be staying all the time now. Thank you for making our day off unforgettable. Wonderful experience and so affordable.

Great room. Great location. Liked that a tiurist office was in front of the hotel. Typically book ourselves online but this was helpful to find the perfdct trip out to the reef. Highly recommend. The onky thing we didnt like was expecting to use the same bath towels for up to a week or pay $4 per person.

Auch wenn die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist bekommt man Informationen wie man an seine Schlüsselkarte kommt. Die benachbarte Gaststätte schließt 21:00 Uhr, so dass dann kein Lärm mehr stört.

Cleaning mid stay was an extra charge. Towels were thin and lacking. 1 bath towel each for a 6 night stay. Comfortable enough for the little time we actually spent in the room. Bed was comfy.

I hate writing bad reviews, but this one has to be said. The biggest problem with the property, is not the dated look, or the lack of basic amenities or how it looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 80s. Its the lack of staff, since they are only available between 8am-5pm, on weekdays, some hours on weekends. I mean, its a hotel, what's wrong with them. You can check in late or check out early, thats fine. You need extra shampoo? Well, too bad, take a shower next day since the front desk is closed. Internet doesn't work? Well too bad, wait until tomorrow. Further, they only give you 2 room towels and 2 beach towels (hotel is on a beach), and they then want to charge extra for more towels. FOR TOWELS!! The overall look is extremely dated and it feels like a 2-star budget hotel. I would HIGHLY recommend people to NOT stay here, its not worth it

Good location. Basic self-service accommodations. Clean, large studio room. Check in was available early and easy process. Unfortunately no way to make coffee. Would be nice if hotel provides a coffee press. We were hassled a bit about asking for one more hand towel and wash cloth. Apparently you only get one each for each room. A bit stingy. Our room was close to the street but not too loud after about 10pm.

Good value for money. Great location right on the main road. Clean room with a nice balcony. Mini kitchenette for basic food prep was perfect. Pool area was nice although spoiled by a loud family with kids constantly screaming, but not much you can do during school holidays and the type of clientele the price attracts. Would stay again though outside of school holidays

It's in the heart of Palm Cove. Easy to get around. Everything including the Sunday Market's on the door step! The staff are lovely, and it's clean, spacious and comfy. The only downer was the noise from the pub in front of the accommodation, but it wasn't too bad.
