You need to contact your guests if you close your pool. You don’t tell them when they check in. This was our only pool hotel in our vacation, so we packed our swim suits from another state for nothing. We would have enjoyed swimming in July, but management couldn’t be bothered to inform us prior to our stay. That’s not service

My stay at Motel 6 was great overall. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also loved that it’s pet-friendly. The only downside was that the pool was closed, even though the website said it was open. If something is advertised as part of the stay, it should be available. Still, it was a good experience and I’d stay here again.

Pool was closed. No onsite laundry for guests. Very noisy with trains going by and beeping from forklifts next door. Housekeeping came in without knocking. This location does not strive to make you feel welcome. No toiletries. No coffee in the room, weak coffee in the lobby.

Booked rooms solely on the fact the hotel advertises truck, semi and rv parking only to arrive and find they don't. Desk staff was unfriendly and uncooperative.

Liked the staff a lot. Room was clean except the floor is pourous and needed a deep scrub. Housekeeping cleaned during our stay.. Front desk man was nice. Trains are loud, poor insulation. Gap at bottom of door. I had to lay a towel down. Pool was and has been closed for a long time.

Worst aspect was bugs, appeared to be young cockroaches that didn't like the light but we had pictures of them from both bathroom and bedroom areas that we showed when we checked out but little concern was given, led us to sleep with lights on which was not as restful. Loved design of the room including bathroom. Reservation was for 4 people but only 3 towels even after it was cleaned during second day (took away extra towels we got by request). Also wish i knew pool was going to be closed the whole time as we looked forward to it. Did appreciate it was close to expo center.

Possibly the absolute worst bed I have ever slept on, I think sleeping on the ground might have been more comfortable. The floor was still dirty and there were ants in the room. There was an inch gap at the bottom of the front door that let all the road and train noise right into our room. The bed was also on wheels that were not locked down. Stains on the pillows and holes in the bedding.

Black mold in bathroom, room needs maintenance. Noisy, people being loud at all hours of the night with no recourse. Extremely rude front desk agent at check in. Had an ID policy for all guests that wasn't posted.

The constant in and out traffic. We were in room 102, 101 had the door opening/closing loudly, even after 3am. The wooden floors were so dirty, my feet turned black and stuck to the floor. My daughter got what looks like hives down her left leg. The front of the house worker about 6 pm on 5/9 was amazing, super friendly.

The room was has been upgraded on a budget, but modern. Clean enough with missed details including hairs in the sink, shower, and urine down the edge of the toilet. Sheets are crisp and fresh. Heating and air conditioning worked phenomenally. Busy motel with a train tracks close and food trucks within walking distance . Makes it convenient and loud at the same time.

When arriving to the room there was insects and dust in a couple places and garbage under the bed. The sink stopper didn’t work so the water didn’t drain until the plug was removed and there were no batteries in the tv remote which was very sticky and dirty. One of the beds had grit down at the foot, only one wash cloth was provided and no tissues were provided.

The reception staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and well decorated. The only, minor, problem I had was that the nearby road noise was quite noisy in the evening. This was exacerbated by gaps around the door, which didn't seem to fit the frame very well.

Made a reservation for a 2 night stay about a month in advance. Arrived at the property around 10:30pm and was told that there were no rooms available and reservations were only held if they were already paid for. I pulled up my receipt showing that I had already paid, but it turned out that didn’t make a difference, they still hadn’t saved a room for me. The desk employee said reservations aren’t guaranteed (what?) and if you don’t arrive early enough they just cancel the reservation. This whole discussion was happening while he was renting a room to a walk in couple at the desk. I understand desk staff are just employees following company policy but I was pretty unhappy with the experience. Pickings were slim for hotels and trying to find a room for my family last minute was not ideal. I definitely won’t be booking a room again now knowing that reservations don’t actually mean anything.

I haven't stayed at Motel 6 in a long time, and I verified that this property had pet space available. Check-in was simple, the room was clean, and it met our needs for the night. Check in was outstanding. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It could have used a stuff cloth chair or a small table with two chairs. We did not stay the whole evening. My husband was already upset with the night des k person because there was NO HOT WATER and when he wanted to know about when it'll get fixed and night desk shrugged his shoulders At 930pm, little Mexico took over the joint with loud meroach imusic. Especially above us. My husband was DONE. He went to check out and met with the same indifference as with the water. The day manager/ front desk woman was great

My only issue is that between 9:45 and 10 am the cleaners come knocking on your door fully expecting you gone. I'd stay again but was a jerk to them the second time it happened and told the clerk it's incredibly disrespectful when check out time is 11am. I got there at 1130-1145 pm and didn't get to sleep until probably 1 or 2. P.s. I usually always leave by 10:30 anyways and today left at 10am 5 minutes after they bothered me for an hour of what I paid for at 75 dollars a night but really about 12 hours.

Not the greatest part of town. Cleaning came barging in an hour before checkout, luckily we had the safety lock on. Would be good to have “do not disturb “ signs to hang on the door.

Do not come here. This place is not pet friendly and refuses service animals. They put us in a 1st floor room to "accomedate" us. The room was in the very back of the place where staff gathered and gossip loudly and constantly slammed the doors in and out of the laundry room. The room itself, wires were exposed and the floor was destroyed. The bathroom wall ventilator was off the wall and broken, an electric hazard. The bath was also infested with ants. They finally took "care" of it on our second to last day there. We were there for 13 nights. We attempted to compromise with them over and over again and kept switching what they were saying. Being wishy washy and unprofessional and just plain rude to us. They also made fun of me due to being transgender and didn\'t respect me at all even when I corrected. There were dog fights and people fighting that broke their policies and didn\'t bat an eye on. Yet we did, when we only brought our cats who are trained and registered Service Animals and only mentioned this to us on the 3rd day after we were there about cats not being allowed.

We are a little worried about noises after reading other reviews, but we are not really bothered by the train noise or the goodwill store trucks. It still has a lot of noise from the road which is a really busy one and the area is not the pretty part of town. But for a quick night's stay, the room is clean and the staff is nice. That is all we needed.

We traveled through for a dog show, location was convenient but didn’t feel comfortable with many of the other people staying as there was fighting at night, car alarms going off and doors banging. Trains going by. Unfortunately I won’t stay here again next year.

Beggars can’t be choosers and when you wait until Labor Day weekend like I did, then definitely can’t complain. You definitely get what you pay for. After tips I think I paid around 160 for Saturday to Sunday. I have definitely stayed at way worse for way more. This place also saved money and time because it was like a 10 to 15 minute walk to the fair groups. I would consider staying again

There are some good food trucks and what I'm told a great Chinese restaurant right around the corner. The location seems a bit sketchy, but Gloria was great on check in. No shampoo or lotion in the hotel, but good DirectTV options. Coffee in the lobby in the morning was a plus too, but no breakfast.
