We are repeat customers at Hotel Malte. They have the coldest AC in town, very important to me as a July visitor. Also the staff is outstanding, personable and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and the 2 pm to 2 am snack bar. It’s a beautiful property, too. I love the decor!

I loved this hotel! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The room was cute and clean with everything you need. I couldn't be happier with the location as well. You will be close to the action. Also, the complimentary mini bar in the room is a great touch. As is the automatic espresso machine available 24/7 in the lobby. I will be back!

We loved our stay at Hotel Malte! The service was amazing and we really appreciated the free in-room (non-alcoholic) mini bar as well as the free ample snacks in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options. We would definitely stay at this or another Astotel again.

The location was excellent. Complimentary mini bar soft drinks and generous snack bar off the lobby from 2 pm to 2 am was a nice touch. Front desk was helpful and housekeeping ran down and returned with an excellent iron and ironing board within minutes of the request. Would definitely stay at this property again

Probably my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We had a two story room with a spiral staircase and ac. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the location was great. We were about a 10min walk to the Lourve. The breakfast was also really good. I would recommend.

The room was incredibly small and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. We were on the 5th floor so a portion of our room was lost to the slope of the roof. Lower floors may be different. Staff was kind and helpful and otherwise a clean hotel

We really like this hotel. It is the third time we have stayed here. Unfortunately, and through no fault of their own, there is construction right outside the hotel. The street cannot be accessed during the day. So taxis need to drop you off, or pick you up at the nearest corner. The staff is wonderful. The beds are comfortable. The worst part about the room is the heat. Even though it's shut off. The ambient temperature in our room is way too warm for us to be comfortable while sleeping. You can't open the window because of the noise, and smoke. Neither of these are the hotels fault. The shower has one of those ridiculous half doors, so everything gets wet outside of the tub. Otherwise amenities are good. Fixtures are good. Towels are nice. Staff is wonderful.

All of the staff, from the front reception to dining area to housekeeping was kind, helpful and courteous. Hotel room was recently remodeled, clean, comfortable, quiet and had a great view. Check in was fast and efficient. All the staff was extreme kind and helpful. The room was serviced nicely everyday. We informed the desk that one light was out in the bathroom and they replaced it in a timely manner. Snack bar was available during the day which made it nice to sit down and have a cup of tea after a long day at the museums. Location is fantastic and extremely walkable with many museums & restaurants.

Our stay at the Hotel Malte - Astotel was absolutely wonderful. The rooms and shared spaces in the hotel are beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the metro and walking distance to many Paris attractions. We especially enjoyed the complimentary afternoon refreshments. Good hotel. Nice breakfast (which you pay for as an add on to your room rate), nice staff, very clean. Location facing the back of a large government building is a bit weird. Some homeless hanging out nearby. This is a nice clean, safe place to sleep while your out and about in Paris, but it's not a 4 star property, and it's not as great as other reviews make it sound.

This is a beautiful, clean hotel with incredible service. The staff could not do enough for hotel guests. One thing in particular that I appreciated immensely was the offer of an umbrella during rainy periods. We had to make use of those during our stay. Soft drink mini-bar is included in the room rates with daily replenishment of a varied assortment of still water, sparkling water, Apple Juice and Pepsi (Diet and Original). A ‘snack bar’ is available at all the Astotel hotels in Paris (of which there are many) and as a guest of this hotel, you have access to them all so if you are out and about and find yourself some distance from here, you can make use of the facility in another Astotel. The bar comprises an array of sweet treats, all kinds of coffee and tea and other refreshments. This includes mixers if you decide to make your own cocktails. Breakfast at the hotel is a MUST. A wide selection of pastries, pancakes/waffles, cheese, yoghurts, salmon, salad etc was provided alongside hot options including bacon, eggs, sausages and potatoes. Additional sweet treats, fruit and biscuits are available too. The amount of options was truly impressive and we took full advantage of it. Therefore, I would highly recommend adding breakfast to your booking! Thank you Hôtel Malte- Astotel for our incredible weekend staying with you in Paris. Those small touches make the biggest difference to people. Keep up the great work. Truly exceptional!

Stayed in Paris 3 days. Room was small, as I believe most are in Europe. But it was clean. Bed was comfortable. Employees were nice and helpful. And morning buffet was better than I’ve seen in 5 star hotels. Coffee machine in lobby. It was appreciated. After Paris I stayed a week in a 5 star hotel in Rome. Breakfast better in Paris, and having that coffee available was essential. The little things.

Pros: 1. Staff are friendly and speak perfect English. 2. Convenient location, within walking distance of the Louvre. 3. Grocery market 2 blocks away, plus restaurants. Cons: 1. I had the standard single room. The bathroom was microscopic. It is literally 2 tiles wide. Very inconvenient. 2. Breakfast buffet was OK, but nothing special. I am always disappointed when a 4-star hotel serves canned fruit. 3. The coffee from the coffee machine was horrible. A 4-star hotel should be able to serve a decent cup of coffee, especially in France. Due to items 1 and 3 under 'cons' above, I will not be returning to this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service and great touches. We were traveling with a 2-year old, and the courtyard was so great to give him space to run and play where we didn’t have to worry. We also loved the snacks and beverages that were available for free throughout the day and in the room fridge. They gave us a bottle of wine to welcome us and the staff were friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend enough!
