Everyone was very kind and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a wide selection of food at breakfast and it was good. The only disappointment was that the pool was out of service.. especially since I chose the hotel based on having an indoor pool.

There was no security on Sunday which resulted in my suv being broken into and major damage was done to our door. And no cambras around the property , on two out front of the entrance. Also, prior to sceduling our stay, we weren't told there will be a $100..00 desposit fee which was required and taken from my account instead of just the fee for the stay. I will never stay here again. It is very unsafe!!! The property was very clean so, we woould not have been suspicious about staying there. Looks like we were WRONG!!!!!!!!!

We parked right in front of the doors underneath a parking light. Our vehicle still got broken into and items were stolen from our vehicle. Afterwards, we were told that hotels in the area have been having a lot of vehicle break-ins. We were never warned about this. They told us that they usually do have security but did not the night our vehicle was broken into. The staff were nice and helped us with cleaning up the glass around our vehicle. However due to this experience, we will not be staying at this hotel again. I would recommend warning guest checking in to not leave items in their vehicles due to break-ins. The elevator also was making loud noises. Some positives about the hotel were that the beds were very comfortable and they did have some foods, drinks, and misc. items to choose from by the desk. Their breakfast was also very good.

Property is clean - obvious effort put into it That said deferred maintenance in numerous locations room sink didn’t drain properly, wall paper sagging in bathroom, elevator obviously hadn’t been serviced in a considerable period, pool closed for maintenance, archaic registration process - paper….

It was loud inside the hotel. Needed noise control after 11. The elevator sounded like it was knocking. Just 1 elevator for that hotel was not enough.

Large shower. Bright light on the mirror. Quiet. Elevator was slow and slightly jerked on startup in either direction. Very clean. Sheets were pushed to the bottom of the bed like someone had slept there.

I want to start by saying Kelly at the front desk was amazing. So sweet and kind. The location is really great and overall the hotel nice for the price. They have a complimentary breakfast that had options for everyone. I really was pleased until I had a cockroach in my room. After killing it I just couldn’t relax because I feared there would be more.

The staff was excellent. Easy to work with. The room and furnishing need updating. Poor water pressure in the shower. And a musty wet smell in the room. The elevator was very loud and not sure how fast we would get to the first floor sometimes.

I really liked the first room we stayed in on the first floor rather than the one during our second stay on the third as it is a little outdated and needs fixing plus the first room was larger and cleaner except again for the hair I found on the bed the first time. The staff at Reception and at the breakfast area has always been wonderful and friendly as well as the breakfast was great!

Really loved the entire stay except one issue… The rooms streetside are incredibly noisy from Street traffic Every other aspect of our stay was worth a very high rating I brought earplugs and the traffic noise was greater than the ear plugs

We loved how clean the rooms were specially the bathroom. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were just right not too soft nor hard. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good. The coffee was excellent and the other offerings were good but the juices tasted almost like water with color, too watered down. The main issue we have was we can hear the loud footsteps from the room above, other that it was a pretty good stay.

Although this hotel was quite nice and clean, I probably will not stay here again. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were terrible, as was the breakfast. This is not the reason why I wouldn't stay here again. I would not stay here again due to the fact that even though I had paid for hotel through hotels.com the hotel charged me another $103 for incidentals and said it would fall off in a couple days. I called 12/9/23 and filed a dispute with cc company, since it had not been taken off. We stayed on 11/22/23. CC company has taken care of it, but I feel that if I had not been paying attention the hotel would have left the amt on card and gotten paid twice.

We booked our room the same day and had no issues checking in when we arrived. However, we went up to our room that was suppose to sleep 6, and saw that the whole pull out couch was missing. The foot stools and coffee table were the only thing left. We asked to switch rooms or for a roll away bed for our kids or a couch to be put in our room. We were told since we booked 3rd party and they sold out there was nothing they could do. We have four kids and even stuffing three in a bed forced our teen to have to sleep on the floor. They didn’t even offer us extra blankets or pillows. They were incredibly unhelpful. We only chose that hotel because it slept 6. We will not be returning.

Love this place! Only place we will stay in Charlotte & we go there often. Steve is AWESOME!!! So is Miss Gloria!!! All the staff are so friendly & helpful! It's like staying at a friend's house! The beds are so comfortable & the rooms have big TV'S, mini fridges, microwaves, & coffee/tea makers.. all of this made my stay Last Christmas when I got the flu & spent almost the entire trip in bed! Highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express!!!

The day I checked in my keys didn’t work over the course of the weekend I had to get my keys rest over 3x and finally the night before checkout we got a new set of keys. I only had enough towels and rags in my room for one, it was 2 of us. When I went to ask the young man for more towels and rags he then pointed around the corner and told me to ask the housekeeping ladies because they were loading their carts. (Not an issue) the issue came in when I asked the ladies and the first 2 ladies acted like they couldnt understand English. So I asked another one. I’m guessing she’s suppose to be the “head”of the housekeeping. She looks me dead in my face and walks off and starts laughin and speaking to the others in their language. I said I’m about to just grab these towels right here off this cart and go. Then all the laughter died immediately! The first lady I ask for the towels IN ENGLISH ASKED ME WHAT ROOM ARE YOU IN??? Soo now you speak English? I wouldn’t recommend this ghetto ass place to anyone!!! 1 star!!!!

The staff was excellent and more than helpful in our check in and stay. The breakfast buffet was very good and with lots of choices for everyone. Love the coffee maker that's available 24/7. My husband had a doctor's appointment and the staff allowed us to come in and rest early and told us how to get to the appointment. Great friendly and helpful SO NICE.

We came for the Beyoncé concert and the hotel was perfect location from the Bank of America Stadium ( about 15 min away). The employees were very friendly and the check in process was very quick and efficient! Definitely will be back.

The beds were good and pillows nice and soft. King size bed could use a couple more pillows as only 4 didn’t seem like quite enough. Water pressure wasn’t great. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety, only downfall was that on Sunday breakfast was to be until 10am. We got down there at 9:15 am and they had stopped replenishing items that had run out already, so the options were limited. Some people who came down around 9:30 had even more limited options and mentioned it to the staff who brushed it off. By 9:45 they had closed the breakfast doors. I just feel if it’s advertised until 10am it should be stocked until then.

All in all our stay was great! There were many options for the breakfast buffet and the food was delicious! Check in was quick and checkout as well and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and the room we stayed in was very spacious and no issues there. I have only one complaint. Right before I went to bed, I noticed there was hair on the edge of the fitted sheet on the bed which we just threw out in the garbage and I felt uneasy about sleeping in the bed after finding it there and was unsettling. Other than that, everything was great for a quick stay while travelling to our vacation destination.
