My car was broken in at the hotel. Why do you pay a parking fee and no security. Police was call but the hotel staff was not available for the cameras on a Saturday the manager should be able to get this footage in the absence of the staff member. Very disappointing. My car was parked in a well lit area. So sad.

The stay was not what I paid for, i specifically called hotel before booking asking questions about the pool to make sure its heated, they said it was so thats why i booked room. The pool was very very cold, when i told them about it they said we will call maintenance, but they never came. I waited 45 mins, informed them the second day they gave same answer and they never showed again. While leaving hotel 4 hours later for dinner saw a maintenance worker and asked was heater for the pool broken and he said they keep temperatures that way so they dont burn off all there chlorine in pool. To me that answer is ridiculous if other hotels can perform this correctly then its one or two things thats the problem there equipment or there workers very simple. Anyway it ruined the reason I picked hotel for my kids as the water was to cold for them to get in causing my 3 and half hour drive for this hotel usless and bad choice.

This hotel was amazing . Starting off with the front desk . Everyone was so kind and accommodating. I needed to check in early and that wasn’t a problem they even gave me 2 free drink vouchers for their happy hour. I thought that was really awesome . Next , the room was super clean and fresh . Everything was up to date and modern . Housekeeping was cool. The morning breakfast was amazing . Bacon eggs ,sausage, pancakes, French toast, an oatmeal station ,cereal, fresh fruit, juices and sodas, and even an omelet station !! It was the best free breakfast I’ve ever experienced on a trip hands down . The pool was a 7/10 only because the water was nasty and filled with products like lotion, sunscreen & hair oils because the guest don’t shower before entering. It’s not the hotels fault but I wish they could enforce the rule a little better . It was gross for me . Sry . This was my first time in Charolette and it was an awesome trip . The city was so much fun with so much to do and experience and now I’m going to make sure that wherever I travel I stay at an Embassy suites . They really didn’t miss with this one !

The staff at the front desk were a little nonchalant but the staff in the dining and bar were fabulous! The property was old but well kept. I wish there was hotel security for the parking lot. However, we had a great stay. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was delicious! The only downfall was the pool was not clean enough to swim in. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Everything was great during my week's stay. It was nice to have daily room service and the food was exceptional. The amenities including breakfast, a pool and gym were great. The staff was friendly and helpful also.

The rooms were old and dirty. The rooms looked dank, dark, smelled musky and really needed a renovation. There was water leaking somewhere in the room and the carpet was completely wet on one side of the room. However we didnt notice until the next morning and our clothes and suitcases were wet from being on the floor. We notified the front desk and they were willing to send someone to try to fix it. But honestly, we were only staying that one night and had a few hours before we checked out. We didnt want to have to be bothered by either getting another room and moving all our stuff or being bothered by staff interrupting our stay. Honestly, they should have credited our stay there. The staff was very rude, and for the money you pay, definitely not worth it. The atrium area looks nice but the rooms suck. Wont be coming back!

There were roaches in the room. The sofa was outdated & the sofa cover wouldn't stay on. The omelet station person was putting ear buds in his ear with plastic gloves on his hands & cooked with the same gloves. I won't be staying at this location again.

We were here for a family reunion. Housekeeping is terrible! There was a used condom under the pull out sofa my daughter slept on! Urine on the toilet and mold in the windows. The maintenance guy said “well we can’t promise the next room won’t have mold and you keep asking us to switch your room. We’re full right now.” Really? Both of my kids have asthma. We’re not staying in a room with mold in it. The condom was the last straw. I’m a nurse. This room was the worst hotel experience of my life. Thank God my 2 year old didn’t see the condom before me. Can you imagine him trying to blow it up like a balloon? I was livid. By the way, no one came to remove the condom, the night manager Lena compensated us for one night (after I asked her to), but said she didn’t have anyone to rectify the situation tonight. Initially she asked if I used the pullout bed on the first night. I told her “I’ve been with my husband for 18 years, we don’t use condoms”. Upon checkout, our fridge was leaking, it ruined my kids pizza and breakfast I planned on taking on the road. Lastly, there were boogers on the headboard and hairs on the pillows and in the shower. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The staff were very friendly and great, but the room was very dirty ( the shower tile had mold growing in the grout) and the breakfast area was dirty (the floor was so sticky). These are simple things to fix if they just cleaned better.

The heat would not go above 64 degrees on my room thermostat. There weren’t anymore rooms available and they were out of extra blankets. The front desk did give me some extra points but would not refund my money. Last few times I stayed, there have been basketball teams and cheerleading teams there. A little noisy with kids back and forth up and down the staircases and doors slamming.

Beds and room were comfortable with a nice layout but the connecting rooms had virtually no sound barrier. The bathroom was not the cleanest poor drainage in the shower and low pressure with toilet flushes. The breakfast was good and plentiful, bar opens late and closes early. I would stay again.

We only ended up staying for a night, but it was lovely. The room was clean and very spacious for myself, my husband and our one year-old. The breakfast was nicely stocked and had much variety. Our baby enjoyed the oatmeal and they had an area where you could build your own omelette and have it cooked for you, wish I would’ve noticed it sooner because you don’t see that in most hotels ! Instead the french toast and self made waffles were delightful ! Overall, we will be booking again in the near future !

Very noisy outside and we were right in front of the elevator so our dog was a little nervous about all the people but it wasn’t too bad. Worst part was the A/C seemed to be leaking so the area all that closet was wet and we had to put a towel down.

I like going to this location when I fly out to North Carolina 4-5 times a year. Usually it’s very convenient and comfortable. This last visit was out of usual than my expectations I have of this location with the shuttle taking over an hour to pick me up from the airport and over an hour after scheduled check in to get into a room that was ready. Other than this last experience it’s my go to place to stay when flying to Charlotte.

I did not receive any housekeeping the ENTIRE STAY. Called front desk (after numerous times of trying) finally spoke to front desk staff ( who seemed to give no care at all). She told me "They will eventually get to my room". Breakfast bar ran out of food so we had to wsit about 20 minutes for them to replenish items. Homeless ppl was walking around as if they stayed there (actually was camped out in the bushes, in front of the property). The last day of our stay there was a big german Sheppard roaming free, the hotel front desk staff was unimpressed. SItting area in back was only two tables! It was the weekend of the PGA TOUR! I wouldn't recommend this property to ANYONE! The only person who was so incredibly nice was the bar attendant. Oh i forgot we ordered wings and they was cold as ice adter we waited for about 40 minutes!!! Needless to say they brought them back out (they had tp put them in the microwave) they was tougher than beef jerky! Asked for my receipt ay check out ftont desk vlerk wouldn't give me one because she stated I paid through Expedia ( but yet you got paid correct?). Disaster!!!!!

The check in staff was amazing, it was clear the hotel was full with Cheerleaders competition, Mary Kay Convention and just regular guest. The two people at check in had the most amazing personalities and customer service skills, considering all the things going on in the lobby. They worked with speed and excellence getting us checked, giving information etc. I believe ones name was Michelle and the other was a gentleman checking in my friends.

The airport shuttle driver said our reservation was not valid and we were to Get out of his van. I called the location to request a refund for the pre paid room. She apologized and said our room was reserved and the driver was wrong. He was sent back to pick us up and was angry about it. The driver speed back to the hotel swerving in and out of traffic trying to scare our kids. It was a dangerous situation nd the man should not be driving your guest

Upon arrival, I noticed a linen bag in the closet, which I assumed contained all items needed for the sofa bed, including a blanket. Because of my sons’ individual medical and sensory needs, I also proactively requested an additional blanket, which was delivered promptly. Later that evening, I went to prepare the sofa bed and realized the linen bag did not include a blanket as expected. I attempted to call room service three times, but no one answered, so I submitted a second request via the hotel’s text messaging system, along with a request for two extra towels. The towels were delivered while we were out, but the blanket was not. When I followed up again via text, a housekeeping employee came to the room and stated that hotel policy prohibits providing a second blanket. I explained that this was not a duplicate request—it was for the sofa bed, which was missing its blanket…The employee interrupted, and eventually said, “I’ll go ahead and do it this time,” in a tone that made me feel dismissed and uncomfortable. Because of that encounter, I placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door and chose to decline housekeeping for the rest of the stay to avoid further interactions. The following day we left the room with the “Do Not Disturb” sign displayed on the door, the staff ignored the DND sign and entered the room when we were out. I have never had a hotel ignore a guests DND request before. An apology was provided, but I left uncomfortable for the rest of my stay.

To start off their was one attendant for check in with a long line and the computers weren’t working so everything was manual don’t know why or how i was charged for parking when i wasn’t even asked if i needed a parking pass like the other Embassy Hotels everywhere besides inside your room felt like a sauna their was the longest line to collect your welcome drinks one guy was working alone it was just staff walking around i felt like more associates could’ve assisted they waited til the line practically went out the door then same person that was walking around decided to assist i never experienced anything like this from any other Embassy i’ve stayed at.. II got in my room only had 2 wash cloths I was really ready to go but i will say next time iam in Charlotte i will be going to the Embassy near the Spectrum Center instead i will not be revisiting this one!!! Very disappointed

The staff at the reception was very unpleasant, they had a 50$ deposit requirement which was fine, also a charge for parking at the hotel we already payed around 400$ for, but then once the payment went through there was an additional charge of 270$ after coming back to the reception and asking what it was for they said that we had selected to pay at the hotel instead of over Expedia which was not true, I had offered to show them the receipts which they didn’t really care for and they said there is nothing they can do and that we would have to either come back or call the supervisor on Monday which was the day after we had left. The staff it self was once again very unpleasant with an exception of a few people, the surrounding area is terrible especially considering the price of the hotel. I would strongly encourage anyone to look into other hotels don't waste your time, money or patience with a place like this!

Perfect for all our needs! Very clean and welcoming hotel. Easy check in and out. Loved access to use shuttles to get to our event close by. Hector was Awesome! The breakfast was excellent and had a nice selection. The bar area was relaxing and enjoyable. The room was very roomy, clean, and updated.

My experience with this hotel was good. My only complaint was that when we went down stairs to the bar for happy hour they only had one bartender working and it was really busy. Now why would you only schedule one bartender to work happy hour on the day of a big game in town. The bartender was clearly having a rough shift and not one manager came to help her. Customers were being rude to her and it was really sad to watch. When her shift finally ended and her replacement came to take over, a manager or supervisor finally stepped in to help. Customers were getting angry that no one was coming to help them. But the manager had time to talk badly about the bartender that had just left and being overall VERY unprofessional. I’d hate to work for someone like her. Definitely need a district manager to go and investigate what was going on there bc I will never stay at this location ever again based off of how they treat employees.

Every day we had room key issues. We arrived a day early and asked for a room. Receptionist told us no rooms were Available at all and we then booked one on Expedia and they allowed us to check in. We were also there for a family reunion and the hotel catered and ALL OF THE CHICKEN was raw and bloody inside.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The establishment is gorgeous, clean, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the suite was bigger than we anticipated! The breakfast was amazing, and we loved the complimentary social hour. It was a great way to kind of bring the guests together; like a family-style gathering!
