Broken glass in entryway, filthy entry/dining floors, broken elevator, sticky elevator floor, smelled horrible, no tp, towels, blanket, phone line cut, when got towels they were old, small and thin, blanket had a stain, no toiletries, missing furniture, a/c was filthy, blood or makeup on blow dryer, shower curtain dirty, no drain plug in tub, no breakfast, noisy throughout the night, laundry room filthy-health risk all around. WE'D LIKE OUR MONEY BACK! Canceled 2nd night.

The lady at the front desk was super friendly, but she stated that they didn't have any towels. The rugs are stained and there's a wonderful odor of marijuana from the time you hit the door. We tried to fight through and when we got to the room, it was worse. No soap or toilet paper in the bathroom. The elevator was working, but was missing a button on the 3rd floor. We lasted about 10 minutes before we returned to the front desk and found a different hotel. Read the reviews.

There were no towels in the room or at the desk. There was no cable TV or even a TV remote. There was no toilet paper roll holder. There was still food in the frig from no telling how long ago. The hallway rugs were filthy and only one of two elevators were operational.

This was the nastiest, most disgusting hotel I've ever seen. After check in I'm informed there's no soap, and no towels. My room had one working lamp and a broken television. Called the office and they offered a second room. My biggest mistake was taking that room. It smelled horrible, the carpet was sticky and squishy, mold on the desk the TV was on. Holes in the wall and the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The hallway was barely any cleaner, and the elevator buttons had a missing missing panel and exposed wiring. Per Expedia they have a shuttle service, they do not. I feel sorry for anyone who stays at this so called hotel.

Worst hotel experience I’ve encountered. I reserved 3 rooms at CLT Airport Inn and Suites and when we went to the address it was a La Quinta Inn. Strange, but it was in the evening and we thought we’d give it a try. As we were checking in, we were told, “We have no towels.” We were not given the option to cancel the rooms, so we took them. We were on the 4th floor. One of the two elevators was out of order and the other one worked but had no safety certificate. The 4th floor was covered with overflowing trash can trash and trash all over the floor. One of the room keys didn’t work and required a trip to reception. We reserved 3 rooms with 2 queen beds. We had one room with a king bed only and one room with a double and single. There were no towels, sheets, blankets, soap or shampoo. We did have toilet paper. We had a man sleeping outside our door loudly listening to music (he did leave when asked). Unpleasant to say the least! So far, both Expedia and the hotel are refusing to refund the reservation. It’s unfortunate Expedia doesn’t vet the properties or have any internal controls about who they partner with.

Someone peed on the wall, entire place is dirty beyond repair and beds were stained everywhere with what looked like blood on mattress and who knows what on the sheets. Every lamp on the wall was broken and employee states no towels in the entire building and some nights they don’t even have toilet paper. Privately owned and management states owner does not like to spend money to restock or replace any immensities. Didn’t even feel comfortable sitting down anywhere as it was so filthy everywhere. Smell of cigarettes lingered in every hallway. Wish I took pictures but i practically ran out refusing to stay

It was extremely dirty, smelled like pee and poop everywhere. There were no amentities offered as suggested online, no soap, no shampoo, the fridge did not work the tv did not work was told they didnt offer coffee although there was a coffee machine, no blanket was in the room and when asked for one they stated they only gave them to people who asked, the ice machine was broke. Online it said they offer breakfast, there was not a single thing offered. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, in my entire life.

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seem. I've traveled for 30 years, and this was the worst. It actually looks condemnable. Wish i could post pictures. Somehow the blinds had an 8 inch circle of hair on it. Hallways filthy, bathroom filthy. Cigarette burns everywhere. Pillows smelled disgusting, I put a towel on top of the pillow. Rugs completely filthy. Room smelled like marijuana and cheap incense. Chair arms and seat were black, on a tan chair. I normally never leave reviews, except good ones. Families should never come here. Never saw anything like it.

Though I understand that you get what you paid for, I did not pay for this experience. The entire hotel smelt like an ashtray. Numerous stains and patched up holes were all over the floors and walls. The TV in the room would not work and there were several people standing in the hall blaring loud music. I checked out within 15 minutes and went somewhere else.

-We stayed for 3 days and there was no complimentary breakfast as described in the description (there was only coffee). -the pillows and bedsheets were dirty, with stains and hair that were not ours. -the room smelled like mold; and the carpets throughout the hotel were stained and noticeable with water damage -the wifi barely worked -the tv didn’t work with chrome cast or any generic stations - only 2 lamps in the room worked and the hairdryer didn’t work even after resetting the outlet -the shower was leaky and dripped all day and night, and you can see the mold buildup on the shower ceiling -the couch was stained and the mattress that was supposed to be in the couch was folded in half behind it for some reason -the key cards don’t work unless you keep your phone 3 feet away. I had to keep going to the front desk to get my key fixed

The room and restroom had a really bad smell in it, never got out. The carpets were slightly soggy, not sure if it was because of the heavy rains.. but the smell was unbearable. There was water leaking from the roof of the restroom. Would never recommend any one to stay here.

Check in was fine, pretty quick. Room was average at best. Had I not arrived so late and was only there for about 8 hours, I would have asked to swap rooms. 1. The window shade was broken, would not pull down. Was not able to darken the room to sleep well 2. There was a whirring/pulsing sound every few seconds that went on all night, could not figure out where it was coming from. It was not coming from the HVAC unit, it actually worked well. 3. The toilet did not completely flush first time, had to flush multiple times 4. There were no toiletries, just a small bar of soap. I asked for some at the desk and was given a 3 pack of body wash bottles to install on the wall in the shower. Better than nothing but I should not have had to put them in the shower. 5. The breakfast was about what I expected (bagels, toast, cereal), which was fine with me. However, there was nothing to drink except coffee. The juice and water machines were empty. Not everyone drinks coffee. I would have been fine with water but there was not even that. 6. The TV service did not work. The guide and everything was there but would not tune to anything. I do not ask for much but this was by far one of the worst stays anywhere in quite a while. I definitely was not expecting a 5 star room, but this was barely a 1 star at best. Positives were the bed was clean and comfortable, the room/bathroom were clean, and I did not see any bugs.

The breakfast was about what I expected (bagels, toast, cereal), which was fine with me. However, there was nothing to drink except coffee. The juice and water machines were empty. Not everyone drinks coffee. I would have been fine with water but there was not even that. 6. The TV service did not work. The guide and everything was there but would not tune to anything. I do not ask for much but this was by far one of the worst stays anywhere in quite a while. I definitely was not expecting a 5 star room, but this was barely a 1 star at best. Positives were the bed was clean and comfortable, the room/bathroom were clean, and I did not see any bugs.

At the time of check-in, I was informed at the last minute that the property was under renovation — no TV, no Wi-Fi, no breakfast, NO drinking water and unbelievably, not even basic toiletries! Facts: The fourth floor hallway smelt like a robust exotic food. When we entered the room we noticed there were no towels at all. When I tried to call front desk to get towels, I pushed the button on the phone to call guest services (labeled guest services) and was only able to reach the wake up call service. So I went back down from the 4th floor to the first floor to get towels at the main desk. I was only given two bath towels. The room had large holes in the wall left by missing fixtures such as the curtain rod and blinds, a light fixture, and a receptacle. The one bedside light fixture that was left did not work. The room coffee pot was broken. The bed sheets were very thin and had makeup and red wine stains. I did request an extra blanket and was given a fairly thick down comforter but it was also stained. At approximately 2:27 a.m. I was startled awake by a high-pitch squealing sound similar to a teapot kettle. The sound varied in pitch and loudness for several minutes and then settled at a very high, loud pitch. I checked the parking lot and it was not a car alarm. I look through the peephole to see if there was any commotion in the hallway and then realized the sound was coming from the bathroom. Looking further I realized the sound was coming from the shower head. I closed the bathroom door to muffle the sound and after about 10 minutes it finally subsided as I was getting ready to put clothes on to go to the front desk to have it evaluated by a staff member.

I booked this hotel CLT Inn and Suites( Formerly la Quinta) on the expedia app for a three night stay and when I got to the property and checked in with my ID on Sunday night I was checked in under someone elses name. I went out on Monday,didn't get back till late I got a call from CLT bedmfore I got there to say that I should come and get my stuff from the front desk as they were removed from the room because I should have checked out in the morning. The check in was great! Easy. Quick. Friendly attendant. The elevator may be scary to folks not accustomed to a "sketchy situation", but i didnt mind it's disrepair. Theres a certain charm to willing riding an elevator that you see screws on the ground underneath a detached handrail upon entry. The stairway has been converted (by whom, im not sure) into a bathroom/living room. Fortunately for us, we got to walk all the way down from the fourth floor. After the first time, we actually did it again, you know, to remember the experience by taking a video. So far, the water runs hot, the room is(fairly) clean, and the hotel seems to be fairly "quiet", despite it's relative proximity to the highway and restaurants. My girlfriend and i agree, solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience.

After checking in I went back to my vehicle to get some things and there was some guy roaming the lot and checking out my car. He walked away when I approached the car. Also after checking in, I went to the room assigned to me and it looked lived in. I went back and was assigned a different room which was great. My car was intact when I went the next morning.

There were no amentities offered as suggested online, no soap, no shampoo, the fridge did not work the tv did not work was told they didnt offer coffee although there was a coffee machine, no blanket was in the room and when asked for one they stated they only gave them to people who asked, the ice machine was broke. The hotel is extremely dirty and smells like an animal stable. Supposedly breakfast is included, but they only have expired oatmeal and dirty dishes. The girl at the front desk said they only had that and coffee, but the coffee maker was dirty. No one would have coffee.

Will not use that "hotel" again in my life. Only hotel where you get the towells and toilet paper in the lobby when you sign in. Seems like they are remodeling or something like that.
