My room was clean temperature was ideal. Each day fresh water and coffee was provided. The conference was located at the hotel which was convenient. Only observation the caulking around the tub faucet fixture was gone so it was very loose had to handle with care.

It was an amazing birthday trip for my husband and I. We can not say enough about the Sheraton Suites on McDowell Ave in uptown Charlotte NC. The staff, Alliah, Jennifer and Lindsay were super helpful and accommodating. Our 14th floor lodging left Nothing to be desired. This was the best birthday stay I’ve had since moving to the Charlotte area. The room was spotless, the amenities were amazing. The food in the restaurant was divine. We actually chose to eat there two nights in a row. We didn’t even want to venture out. All of our needs were met in-house. We will be back in the next month or so, I felt like queen for a day. This place is old and dirty. It looks pretty good when you first walk in. Lobby furniture is old and stained. Our room had old candies on the carpet, our daughter’s room had a fake eyelash!! Later we discovered a reddish brown stain on one of our sheets. No mini fridges in the rooms, you had to ask for one. They did bring one promptly but it didn’t fit into the built-in area so it just sat in the corner on the floor. If she didn’t have a conference and we needed to have an adjoining room to take care of our grandson we would have left immediately. Two of four elevators were out of order, so they encouraged taking the stairs by offering free bottled water. But the cooler was empty two of the three days. When we asked a manager looking guy where the stairs were on the first day, he had no idea. The second day when there was no bottles of water we asked the front desk. She had no idea what I was talking about. Unreal! The espresso machine was broken so they could not offer specialty coffees. Staff made it seem like it’s been broken for a while. The pool was dirty, really filthy and the water was cloudy. After a rain it turned green the next day. With that rain there were pipes in the ceiling of the ping pong area that were leaking with buckets placed around. The food is mediocre at best. But the staff in the restaurants were nice and accommodating. I would be disappointed if this was $250 per night but it was $600 per night. Unbelievable! Truly disappointing and just gross.
