The front desk guy really should not be working with people. Very unfriendly. The elevator did not work. The room was awful. The windows were open and would not close. The odors were terrible. Everything is very rundown. Housekeeping started banging on doors at 8am. The breakfast selection was not appetizing. We ended up going to Cracker Barrel. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND 1

Great place for a great value. Breakfast was varied and tasty, our daughters loved it. Room is clean, but the keycard kept giving me issues. My only complaint is that the pool was closed, even though it is advertised, and it's an indoor pool.

This was our second stay. First time one night, 3 new guts for this stay. Staff is great, breakfast good. We were disappointed that the pool was closed for repairs. Great location.

Nice location and place. Pool was closed. Gym and breakfast was great. My only issue was the cleaner they used is way to strong/toxic. Had to air the place out for a day or two.

room smelled like mold. there was a night cap in the drawer left by a pervious occupant which means house keeping does not thoroughly clean. the TV was terrible. Volume was super low even when cranked all the way up. the only good part was the gentleman that checked us in. was super nice. everyone at night did not seem to know what to do about anything or willing to help.

Front Desk lady was nice. Hotel room reaked of Cigarettes and shower was dripping, tub rested out. Bug crawing in the sink. Asked to switch rooms. 2nd room was ok, but smelled old and musty. Didn’t feel safe leaving car outside.

I always found Country Inn and Suites to have a high standard of cleanliness. However room 323 at this property should not be let at any price. We arrived very late to the property (after 11pm). Check in was fine and efficient. But upon opening the door to our room I immediately felt something was amiss. My wife stomped a cockroach crawling along the carpet. The carpeted floors were stained pink by what looked like several spill. There was blue nail polish on the bathroom counters. The shower did not look like it had been cleaned. The nightstand had some greasy substance (likely pizza grease) and the remote control was covered in what looked like pizza sauce or pasta sauce. It was late and we had to leave early so I didn’t complain except at checkout where the clerk only offered an apology. This was not a great experience and I hope the property will do something about the condition of that room.

Room was okay but the Tv remote didn’t work and when we asked for batteries there was none at the front desk. All we got was an apology and there would be a replacement in the morning which didn’t help because we were checking out the next day. Will never book there again. Do better CI&S.

Its okay for the money. The bed is extremely uncomfortable, the blanket is thinner than a sheet, the outdated air system worked very well and there was no way to completely close the window curtain. The shower was good but not hot.

I have to simply say, although the cleanliness and feel of the hotel was great, Keenan, gave us the best customer service I've had in a hotel in 20 years. It's a lost art.

We were there for the dirt races, about 10 minutes from the track. (There 4 nights) No one ever cleaned our room, even when asked at the front desk. Had to go replace our towels every night at the front desk. Garbage this piled. Our floor smelled. Would not stay there again.

I had to change the date of my stay, and the hotel receptionist was very helpful with that. The lighting in the hallway was rather dark, so it didn't give a welcoming feeling. Inside the room, we couldn't figure out how to change the temperature setting, and the bed only had a sheet and very thin comforter. Now that it's not summer, I would expect there to be a thicker comforter, or perhaps an extra blanket in the closet.

Our door keys would not work we had to keep going to the dront desk to ask for new ones. The very first set would not work and we were very tired, just came in from out of town, long drive. The outlets did not work properly, we saw several roaches duirng our stay. The breakfast was awful! We will not be returning to this hotel.

My friends and I stayed here after a concert at a nearby music venue. We checked in and got ready before the concert, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They even offered a shuttle to the concert venue knowing many guests were attending! The room was very clean and had plenty of offerings for us (towels, toilet paper, soaps, etc.) The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. I woke up too late to take advantage of the free breakfast, but staff at the front desk were similarly friendly as we checked out. They also offered hot beverages even after the conclusion of breakfast.

Late night arrival ~12:30 am, arrived to an empty lobby, nobody at the desk. Stood ringing bell progerssively louder and more loudly. Shouted many times trying to get attention. Only after ~10 minutes did an unapologetic clerk enter. Adding insult to injury, he failed to activate the keys, wich i found out only after taking bags upstairs. I returned to the desk to get new keys. He coded tge keys, unfortunately only after returning to the room i again was unable to enter. Upon returning to the desk, he indicated tgat hehad activated tge keys fo a room downstairs. Very inconvenient and frustrating experience.

Hotel was basic, clean and relatively inexpensive. Conveniently located near UNC-Charlotte, which is why we stayed here. Breakfast offered a lot of options and was super convenient as well. From desk folks were very friendly and helpful and check out was super easy!

I stayed because this property was close to the race track (Z Max Dragway). For a hotel it was very quiet (usually you hear "neighbors" and slamming doors) and was clean and in good order with a friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was close not only to the race complex but also other amenities such as restaurants, the light rail, and fairly close to downtown. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved this hotel! So glad I picked it and the staff is super friendly and helpful too! Only takes about 20 mins to get to downtown and has plenty of restaurant options close by! It’s a great deal! Definitely recommend!

I thought the place was great overall. Breakfast was good, the room was VERY clean, the bed sheets were very clean and white, sheets and pillows soft. There was an "odor" outside in the parking lot but nothing inside, so I don't know what others were talking about. The lady at checkout was extremely pleasant, very personal, and nice; the man at check in was polite and professional. Only one issue - as we got there after sunset, we missed the turn for the road the hotel is on - there was no visible signage and nothing on the main road. Perhaps this is a zoning issue. But we would definitely stay here again, no question.
