Motel 6 Greenville, NC ECU Medical Center

This is a budget motel. Understand that it may not be as nice as more expensive places. My room was pretty marginal. No hair drier, no shampoo, the tv remote would not change channels from the bed. Vinyl flooring was buckling up and open seams oozed a sticky glue in several places. It was comfortable and clean otherwise.

Professional, friendly and excellent facilities!

Manager went out of his way to assist us in parking a large rental truck. Very much appreciated.

Rooms are better than most Motel 6s. Staff is friendly. Pets welcome no extra charge. Walking distance to a lot of stores.

Sheets were stained with questionable things, half of the outlets in room didn’t work, had to kill a couples roaches. Was easy to check into and everything else worked.

Pool, staff were great, rooms clean and upgraded

I was directed by hotel staff that I could purchase coffee at the 'Dennys next.door Did not need or use pool. Low water pressure, 1 tv channel, no Wi-Fi. I guess low price = poor service.

I understand all places have roaches , but his place had so many i left my bags in the car and went to walmart to defogger the room , after 4 hours later i let it air out still some but not as many, the pool are was closed which was not mention on the site.

There was blood on the cover, hair all over the beds and roach in the bathroom. Beds are so small!!!

Exactly what I paid for. I knew with the price it would be outdated. Only issue I had was when I checked in and out I had to use the night window. Not enough towels or toilet paper in the room but these were taken care of immediately. I would stay again but would not bring the family

My reservation had been mysteriously canceled when I arrived to check in. I was informed by the front desk staff, that they did not work with Expedia, even though I booked the reservation through Expedia. There was no cold running water in the room, only hot. And the front door would not lock. The manager used his key to lock the door, and I had to get home at 3:00 to unlock it. Very beat up furniture and bathroom. Would not book this motel again.

There was a problem with my reservation but they were extremely helpful in resolving it.

The motel employee called us at 7:30 am on the day we were traveling to inform us that our reservations were cancelled. They said they no longer had a contract with Expedia and could not honor those reservations.

The staff tried to enter our room twice and then was waiting at my car trying to talk to my stepchild when I went to check out. Why are they harassing people about checking out. I checked out at 10:30am.

Walking distance but I hate that staff knocks on the door every morning at 10. When not answered quick enough they walks in.

I paid all my expenses through Expedia when I reserved my room , but when I arrived to the hotel I was told my card is declined and they showed me bank card that’s not mine on their profile .

They come around in the mornings at nine am MULTIPLE TIMES to ask if you are checking out. (Check out is at 11am) Awaken out of my sleep after a long night's work. I'll never book here again.

Reserved 2 months in advance of granddaughter’s ECU graduation. Received a call at 7:08am morning of check in stating they had canceled their contract with Expedia and couldn’t honor my reservation. No rooms available but they wouldn’t know for sure until 11:00 am and would contact me. Needless to say I immediately got in touch with another hotel and secured a room. Never heard back from Motel 6 until another rep called me at 9pm that night asking if I was coming to check in.

Upon arrival I was told by Mgmt. that I had not paid and needed to pay with cash. I showed her the receipt and after 30 minutes of back and forth she gave us the key to the room. We checked in then she called me back to the office telling me she needs me to pay again. I said I already paid here is the receipt, the money is gone. I had just driven 7 hours and wanted to relax and feed the kids. I s/w Expedia and they said everything is fine. Then she asked to speak to me again. Wanted cash and said she had canceled our room? I said I had just gotten off the phone with Expedia and they said all is fine not canceled. She told me I canna stay for free then started screaming at me. I tried to talk but she kept yelling so I slapped the key back on the counter and said fine, we are leaving. They followed me out and started banging on the door while we packed. I said no you’ve scared my kids and threatened me so we are done. We left immediately while they began asking us to stay. Will never stay at Motel 6 again and may never use Expedia either.
