The place needed a huge make over. Steps were all cracked ( I took pictures ) very scary. Garbage in parking lot / ground level was overflowing. Stayed that way all weekend. Rooms were horrible

I furniture was torne and faded. The were pot holes on the steps and walkway. One of the rooms was boarded up. I was afraid for my safety. The bathroom was not clean, I had to clean the toilet before using it and tgere was no way that I would get in the shower.

No soap or other cleaning agents except body wash, shampoo, and conditioner (attached to shower wall). Only one set of stairs on each side of property so access to 2nd floor rooms is very convenient. Memorial Drive traffic can be noisy at night. Lots of bums and other ghetto denizens like to loiter around.

Bed comfort, room smelled like mildew, Internet extremely slow no fitness center as described. Pool only goes up to 5ft. But customer service was A1 from check-in to check-out. Also an unusual amount of flies in my room too. But overall 3 out 5 stars. I would go back again just because the staff was extremely cool and down to earth. And it’s convenient to everything

Suite was nice, spacious. Couldn't take a shower as piece to turn from bath to shower was broken. Bathroom area needs updating. Rest of the room was nice. Beds were a bit too firm for me. We drove 6 hours and couldn't use the pool because we didnt get there til 8:15, pool closed at 8:30 which was kind of dumb. Check out at 11 but pool didnt open til 10. Other than that overall good experience.

We stayed here during family weekend for ECU. The condition of the property is terrible…crumbling stairs leading up to the second floor room, dirty bathrooms, and just overall neglect and disrepair. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it. On the positive side, I will say that the staff was very nice and did their best with what they had to offer. The first room we were given was a non smoking room that smelled like smoke and the bathroom was not clean. We asked for another room and the gentleman at the front desk was very apologetic and did give us another room. Unfortunately, it was not much better. The bathroom was a little cleaner but not much. The toiletries they supplied (mini shampoo, body wash) were 1/2 used, and there was a pair of men’s underwear on the floor in the closet! We had no other options on such a busy weekend, so we had no choice but to stay…but the pictures online were misleading and we were happy to check out!

Baymont By Wyndham Greenville, NC To whom this may concern, My husband and I recently stayed at the Baymont by Wyndham in Greenville, NC. The establishment was advertised as a very nice place to stay. Upon arrival we discovered otherwise. The lobby was dark and unwelcoming, the staff were nice and courteous however. When approaching our room would could see cracks in the stairs and walk ways to the rooms. When entering our room number 210, we noticed a damp feeling and smell. There was mold in the ceiling in several spots (photos attached). The sink was clogged and had difficulty draining. The sink also leaked, I notified the hotel front desk. The hair dryer was coming off the wall and barely worked. The tub was in poor shape (photos attached). The couch has frays on the edges and had an awful smell (photo attached). The refrigerator worked well but was in poor shape externally. There was no room service the 3 days we stayed. We had to use dirty towels for 2 days. We had to ask for toilet paper and towels at the end of day three. This experience was less than satisfactory and a complete disappointment. Both my husband and I were itching through out our entire stay. I saw no evidence of bed bugs but we were very disgusted. Does Expedia offer a guarantee or compensation for a less than satisfactory stay experience? Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing back from Expedia. Regards, Jacquelyn Jensen

I stayed twice and I will not stay a third time. The Wi-Fi is extremely slow, unable to get any work done due to how god-awful the Wi-Fi is. Can’t upload or download to dropbox, can’t surf the web with any sort of reasonable speed, can’t even watch a YouTube video without it taking forever to school. Having for bed, you try to stream something on your tablet, the Wi-Fi is awful. Also had to change the sheets on my own bed as I got there and they were dirty. Look like a poo stain, I grabbed a wash rag and some warm water and sure enough it cleaned off so that tells me the sheets weren’t washed. Called to get my own sheets and had to go upfront and get them myself and I change the sheets on the bed, when I took the sheets off the mattress cover was also covered in mold spots. I won’t be staying here again.

This is a very old structure in need of a complete overhaul. Housekeeping seems to be doing a good job of keeping it clean. The floors had been upgraded to a wood laminate. Although there is paint peeling from the ceiling, etc., the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shampoo dispenser was broken and the toilet paper holder was half falling out of the wall. The towel rack was bent and there is no bathroom ventilation and the area around the ceiling light is corroded. In spite of all the overall physical dilapidation, we slept well and the room was clean.

The floor in our room was sticky. The beds had major dips in them and felt small almost like a twin. The door in our bathroom would not close when we were using the toilet or shower. One of the lamps shades was either covered in rust or smoke stains.

The room was way bigger than expected. There was a living area with a fridge, tv and seating apart from the sleeping area. Everything was great. Only issue I noticed was some mold in the bathroom on the walls and ceiling.

We travel very frequently for business and this is a place I pick regularly. It's not the greatest but it's definitely not the worst. Customer service is outstanding, coffee in the room and a pool in the summer. I definitely recommend it.

Friendly staff was a plus. Luggage carts were not easily driven across the uneven outside pavement. No concierge service nor bellhop available to help with luggage. Hot breakfast items were at a minimum, but the area was clean and staff freely gave trays. We would choose this site again.

This place did not match the interior bedroom pictures. Everything felt dirty, the remote was sticky, we kept getting a message on the tv that something wanted permission to connect. Our devices did not. The door handle latch to the bathroom was broken, so that door could not stay closed. We were there at 3pm to check-in, no one was a the front desk for a few minutes, then when I went to get checked in it seemed there were no clean double bed rooms! (which is what I booked) The manager, was was very polite and trying to resolve the situation, went and physically checked for the "clean" room. Once we got to the room, my daughter discovered an empty Tito's liquor bottle in the closet. The door to our room didn't shut all the way without a good tug or pull to be sure it was really closed. At some point during the day (we were there for a softball tournament both days) the refrigerator opened and most the food was warm. We depend on a refrigerator to help keep cost down. I walked past the "Meeting Room" and it looked like they were using it for extra storage, boxes crammed in there next to the window. I feel so stupid, I cancelled reservations elsewhere for the same price because this place had so much better reviews. I would not ever stay here again.

Staff was great and very accomodating. Had to switch rooms because safety lock in first room was broken. Second room smelled like weed. Had to go and purchase air freshener to get rid of the smell. Bathrooms are extremely small. Floors were dirty and looked as though they hadn't been mopped. I doubt the people at front desk knew of room situation. Like I said, staff at front desk was very accomodating and willing to work with you. It was the other staff not doing their job.Beds are comfortable!

This was one of the most unclean hotels I have ever stayed in. There were dead bugs in the floor and coffee station. There was trash and dirty footprints behind the door to the bathroom. The washcloth has human hair imbedded in it. It was truly a disaster of a dirty room. In addition people were parking in the fire lane and frequently people were driving through the parking lot as if they were looking for something or someone. I felt very unsafe.

Came to Greenville for daughters graduation, stayed at the Baymont for 4 nights. The stay was perfect, breakfast was great. The bed and pillows were comfy. Location was central to what we were doing. Would stay here again.

Well the shower floor mat (when turned over) was already dirty. The shower pullup worked about 50%, most bypassed the shower n went straight to the drain. And in the morning, my card was disabled just before 10 am, checkout is 11. And the offered breakfast was precooked egg patties(cold) and luke warm sausage patties. I was a building inspector, for the Dept of Defence. Had this been on a base, I would have it "Closed". And this app wont let you post pictures

Not the upper class type hotel but a place to lay your head. Front desk was very friendly, breakfast was so so no protein other than yogurt a little disappointing being a diabetic. It was very quite even though a lot of young people.

Worst hotel stay ever! Do not stay here. From the moment I arrived, everything was dirty. The room didn’t even have toilet paper, and when I called the front desk, they told me I had to come down to get it myself! The TV had built-in streaming, but it didn’t work, so entertainment was a no-go. The worst part, though, was finding a bug crawling on the muffin container at breakfast the next morning. Absolutely disgusting! I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs!
