I had a lovely stay here. Beautiful grounds, lovely rooms. However only the gym is now included in the price. To use all the facilities like pool, hot tubs and steam room is an extra £25 pp. Still good value though.

Cant fault this hotel, I always use it when in the area for business. Really nice hotel with lovely pool and health suite areas with outdoor, but covered, hot tubs. Staff are always really nice and it seems to be run very well.

Lovely hotel, but access to pool and spa was an additional £30 and breakfast was an additional £17.50. Service in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was really slow, although when the staff appeared they were very pleasant.

Staff we’re all extremely friendly and well trained. The food and drink was a high standard. It was unfortunate that it costs £25 per person for a 3 hour spell to use the pool and facilities, which might put me off staying for longer than an evening.

We stayed here for a break as we have 3 children at home. We hadnt been away for 3 years so had high expectations. It didnt disappoint. We had a lovely time. The staff were so friendly, the food was the best we have tasted in a long time and the room was so clean and spacious. The restaurant had a really buzzing atmosphere too. Would recommend to anyone

Everything about our stay at Fairlawns was excellent. The hotel is very well maintained, the room was spotless, the shower superb, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and dinner in the restaurant was tremendous. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The staff are very friendly & helpful. Ned was very comfortable. Breakfast choice is not great for £18/person. The bathroom had a smell of blocked drains & air conditioning too noisy to keep on at night. All in all, a good & comfortable stay

Brilliant relaxing stay for my partner and myself. The spa was lovely and not busy, the swimming pool is nice and you can get food and drink but it is quite cold than what you expect. This was £25 per person for a 3 hour slot. The room was lovely and the waterfall shower is amazing. We went also for the 6 course taster @£65 per head. The food was phenomenal really was, service was slow to start took ages to get a drink as we had to get the attention of the waitress but once over this, service was good and each dish was prompt. Great stay and would recommend and May look to go back. Top Stay

Attended a business dinner then stayed overnight. The food was lovely including the breakfast. Rooms were good (great shower pressure!). The only slight negative was that the earliest breakfast (Saturday) was 8am. My colleague had to leave at 7:15 so he left without food.

Finally got a decent upgrade as a Platinum member. Friendly and helpful receptionists gave us Suite 178 which had an excellent sitting area with a bath in it (?), kitchen area and then a very comfortable bedroom and luxurious bathroom with another bath and a large walk in shower.

I was staying 2 nights but before the trip I had to book 2 different rooms because of availability. When I arrived they had booked me into the same room for both night and I was upgraded to a room that might be bigger than my flat :) Excellent service from front desk to room service staff, staff at breakfast etc.

Bedroom spotless and well equipped. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Disappointed with our experience in the bar in the evening when nobody seemed bothered about coming to take our food order. My husband had to go up to the bar 3 times.

Absolutely fabulous!! The staff were so friendly and attentive- nothing was too much trouble . The hotel was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and had such attention to detail . We made to feel like vips!! The restaurant was a real treat ! Luxurious table settings , beautiful glasses and cutlery and oh my goodness the food was superb- one of the best meals we have ever had !! All with a fabulous bottle of wine that was recommended to us . We couldn’t have had better service The spa was so good … such a choice of facilities and we really enjoyed our three hours in there - we literally felt like we were on holiday We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an escape away , anyone who needs a little ‘affordable’ luxury and anyone who enjoys quality with the personal touch Absolutely will come back - and have already recommended to my family and friends!!

Overall the hotel is very good. Only downside is a little lack of customer service. Both in the restaurant for breakfast, not receiving my order correctly, namely no toast or orange juice provided despite asking. And no receipt emailed by reception staff, so had to chase them again.

Without a doubt I would stay here again. There was some confusion around information given by two different members of staff in respect of the 'complimentary swim' which was disappointing but the restaurant was outstanding and more than made up for that. The food was seriously delicious, the staff in the bar and the waitress service were very helpful and friendly which made for a wonderful evening meal and breakfast experience. Sadly I did not have time to sample the delights of the 'spa', but maybe I shall fit that in on my next visit to the area.

Had a one night stay booked ready for a business meeting the next day. Arrived around 8pm, room was lovely, ordered room service for dinner and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Polite, helpful and food arrived promptly. Plenty of car parking.

Somewhat isolated but self-contained. Public area decor is a bit dated but rooms are compact but comfortable, modern and well-equipped. Food was good value and tasty. Overall good value and pleasant hotel. EV charging available. Would use again.

Hotel clean and comfy with friendly staff. Bar staff on the evening were greay! Breakfast was very dissapointing had the vegan breakfast expecting a linda mc cartney or soy protein based sausage to recieve essentially a veg potato croquette and some veg. For £16 was not expected in an otherwise beautiful hotel. Totally unacceptable! There was a wedding on so was loud and would have been better to be in a room further away from the Wedding but I appreciate this is difficult and did not ruin pur stay.
