Stayed 3 nights

If you are looking for an experience then stay here, if you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. It's 15mins to town.Nice communal pool overlooking the Gold Coast.Communal seated area near it but it was covered in geese poo, not here and there, it was everywhere. There are goats, alpacas, peacocks, chickens, & geese. They are all friendly. They do know what the sound of the food container is and will come straight to you. There is also a dog running around. We stayed in Treehouse 1. Looks unfinished inside.Bath was beautiful and overlooked the GC skyline, however the light was on a timer. You have to sit still for 10minutes to let the light go off to see the skyline lights. If you move it will come back on. Would be nice to have a dimmer instead. Poor design of the shower downstairs. Only a curtain (stained) and no lip to contain the water. Water goes all over the floor. The bottom floor single couch/beds were comfy, however the main bed was as hard as rock. I had to sleep downstairs on the single beds while my husband slept up stairs on our wedding anniversary. Cleanliness was not great. Dead bugs in the windows. The windows didn't look like they had been clean for a while. The dust on surfaces set off my allergies. The kitchen dishes are to be washed by previous people, and they were not. We had to wash before eating. Sheets had piling on it. 3 floor mats but no hand towel. Assorted beach towels for shower/bath. Not worth the expensive price.

The property is advertised as having internet, it never worked, bath was a feature yet not enough hot water to fill it, batteries went flat - no power and no hot water. After communicating with the owner all we got was accused of doing the wrong thing over and over. Really disappointing. Don’t advertise something and then get annoyed when your customer asks why everything isn’t working!!

Stayed 4 nights

Inspiringly off grid the Treehouse 1 contains an eclectic decor over 3 floors. It is located close enough to drive to stunning Springbrook rainforest walks. This house is perfect for a couple with two small children. We were a family of 5 adults so found the limited living area a bit crowded. The tiny kitchen was a bit challenging to cook in over our 4 day holiday also. Other than the double bed, sleeping arrangements are quite basic. Still a beautiful and inspiring place.
