On place to stay. Beds adequate. Updated room but need to update appliances and add a microwave. Did appreciate staff leaving letter to notify water would not be working on day of departure. Had a hotel worker knock and enter room with out verbally announcing entry. The do nit disturb sign had fallen to the floor. Told front desk about situation and response was that worker did not speak english. Unacceptable response to me as my girlfriend was dressing at the moment. Any audible warning should have been used. This was an hour before checkout so even if dnd sign is on door no one should be cleaning room prior to this. Especially with no water supply

Unfortunately the bar was not fully manned for a Saturday evening. We hoped to get a quick drink before heading out for the evening but we’re unable to do so as the bartender did not have the key to unlock the drinks!

This is a great location. Hotel was quiet and great lobby with a bar and restaurant. Staff friendly and accommodating. We had a few issues checking in which entailed walking into a room with someone already sleeping inside. They quickly gave us another and access to “Elite Membership” area but door handle on new room was coming detached and we struggled entering. Marriott cracks me up that you have to be an “Elite Member” to access a breakfast and coffee room that is on par with any lower budget hotel. What is that all about???

Hotel lobby was great and nice looking. Room was spacious and midern. Ice nachine didnt work on 4th floor and had a prepaid breakfast but couldnt take advantage because of delay of aervice and had a flight to catch.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Please upgrade the floor in your pool area...it needs to be pressure washed/replaced. Your lobby is beautiful and inviting! I would stay at this property again:)

Rooms were not very clean when compared to others nearby. On checkout date we noticed several old bloodstains on the comforter and pillowcase but was too late to ask for clean bedding. If rooms were clean hotel would be average.

Quick weekend trip…probably won’t ever stay at this property again. Walked into the room to find it smelled old and damp. The bathroom was not clean, there were stains in the toilet from the previous guest. I went down to the lobby to ask for someone to clean the bathroom because it was dirty, and I was met with a confused look as if I was inconveniencing them. Someone came to clean the bathroom really quickly, and she apologized for it not being cleaned properly. Overall, my stay was not horrible, but if you want clean bathrooms and a room that doesn’t smell wet and like mildew, you probably shouldn’t stay here.

There was stains on the blanket and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Also there were only two wash clothes available in a four person room. These are minor things but if they pay more attention to detail these things could have been prevented.

The staff was friendly the hotel was clean. Our room was a little dusty, the bathroom sink had a crack in it, the toilet tank cover did not fit properly , and the bed was so hard my back ached the next day. It was convient to shopping and restaurants. Im glad I only stayed for one night.

My daughter and I enjoyed our overnight stay except for one thing - we were in a room with 2 queen beds and both beds had lights that were built into the headboards that you can not ever shut off. We like to sleep in the dark and the lights drove us nuts all night long. Get rid of those lights!

Staff (front desk and bar) very low customer service!. My room in 3 days never received a housekeeping service even I requested it the second day, this service never was done to my room. At the lobby bar, the bartender had no idea about drinks and no bonding with customers that were expending in drinks. To be a Marriott, this one was very disappointed….

Overall the stay was ok,except when inspecting the bed there was a spot on the sheet,didn't like that and a staff member barged in with no knock or anything when my wife and i were in bed we yelled and they quickly ran out

The property itself was quite modern, but there were areas (on the floor where I stayed, 3rd) where the wall was stained with what looked like vomit. The manager (William) insinuated that I was a lier, I called expedia to change my booking and was reassured that the manager himself was going to change the reservation. When I got there, they had cancelled as "no show", and they didn\'t have any room. The manager said nobody from Expedia talked to him, and he didn\'t have any rooms available and I should go somewhere else. I immediately called expedia, and they had records of the event. Manager asked to hear the name of the person they talked to and it was him !! he still insisted he didn\'t talk to anyone, but he was going to fix the problem because "they claimed they talked to me". he was exceedingly rude, did not apologize for any of this. I am awfully dissapointed

We arrived at the front desk at 3pm for check in. We along with 20 other guests in the lobby were confronted with the front desk who told us there were no rooms available for check in. The front desk was very rude and confronting with the guests and had no respect for anyone. The manager refused to come and talk with the guests. I have never witnessed such a scene in any hotel in my life.

Upon check in, I was given the wrong room. When I went to the front desk to remedy the problem, I was given no apology and instead was just handed the new key in silence. Also, the room had a damp smell.

Room was fine. We called for room service and it took an hour to get someone on the phone. When we finally ordered it took 1.5 hours to get the food. Food came up cold. Staff was friendly but they needed help. There was not enough people working to take care of the guests.

Everyone from the wonderful hotel clerks, bartenders, wait staff! They were all so nice, friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean, and beautiful. This stay has made me a permanent Marriott customer. I will always stay at this hotel whenever I am in Richmond.

The hotel was clean and very peaceful. My stay was very relaxing. The only thing I felt that needed improvement was the breakfast options. There were no alternatives offered for people who don't eat pork products. I just settled for the bottled water and juice. If i had known that this would have been the case, i wouldnt have purchased the breakfast option.

There was some noise in the hall, a little late in the night. I assume people in route to their rooms . The food was amazing on site, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean . We were very impressed !

So I stayed here over the weekend for my best friend's wedding and I was missing towels and things from my room. When asked for towels, the attendant never came back. I had to speak with the front desk who only gave me washed clothes. It was a weird situation. In addition, I paid for the breakfast and they were out of everything but eggs and bacon.
