Red Lion Hotel Ellensburg

The hotel is dated and very dirty. From the filthy glass on the front doors to our bathtub that still had hair and soap residue on it, I was shocked at the state of the place. Had we not just needed a place to sleep for a few hours before checking out, I would have walked across the street and stayed elsewhere.

They were running out of room keys so we could only get one. There were no sheets or blanket on the pull out. I attempted to call the front desk about it but the phone wasn’t connected, so had to walk down multiple times for items. There were chip crumbs on the couch. Pool and fitness center were ‘out of order’. Bed was okay, otherwise, can’t imagine much worse. Especially the premium price.

It was obviously a little on the older side.

So the pool is closed due to some kind of licensing issue, which of course they should disclose on their website as it has been that way for some time. So no Pool. Next is the TV, after seeing nothing on the screen but snow, on channel after channel, the front desk finally said, oh, we only have a few channels available, most are not working! So effectively, no TV in the room.
