over all our stay was good the pool has a funky odor to it not sure if its from the farm smells around or what and you defin want to stay on the top floor the ones below on 3 are loud from those above you.

The hotel itself is great! Friendly staff and very clean. Nice lobby area with breakfast and to just sit and talk in. Rooms were clean and nice. Pool was ok but needs cleaned on the bottom. Friday night there were a bunch of kids stomping on floors and being obnoxious. Thats the only problem we had and then they were gone the next night. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

Wi-Fi, cable, phone lines were all out. The pool was also closed. There wasn’t even a mention of being able to get a refund or any kind of discount. The room was also not cleaned well at all. There was residue inside of the mini fridge. There was a broken plastic fork under the pull out bed. The beds are hard and uncomfortable and the pillows are like sleeping on a piece of cardboard. I DO NOT recommend staying here. Find somewhere else, this was a mistake.

Unfortunately due to the storms in the area there was no cable or internet. But the front desk made sure to.say something first thing. Room was quiet and comfortable. Pool area, breakfast area and libby were all clean.

Was ok but air conditioner made noise priperty just wasnt maintained dirty floor in elevator. Holr in towels. Just not what you would except from a holiday inn express. Paid more to stay here and exprcted better.

The front desk person was really nice and helpful. But unfortunately the hotel was very dirty and run down. Carpets were stained and dirty. The room was not cleaned well there was stains on the sheets and there was dried blood on the pillow. Hair in the sink had hair in it and would not drain right. Tub had hair in it. And toilet was not cleaned. Food on floor of room. We will not be staying here again. Most of the time holiday inn is nice and clean but this time it was a failure. Not worth 225.00 a night.

Pros: free parking; included breakfast Cons: room was old with relatively newer furniture & beds; cobb webs in ceiling corners; carpet needs deep cleaning; shower floor is very slippery and no safety handle; no hand towel rack by sink; Spectrum cable tv service very limited; molding & furnishings are old, scuffed, wear is visible; some outlets were loose or not working; old popcorn ceiling, old over textures drywall; simply old and it showed. Conclusion: Overall OK but bare minimum satisfactory room condition; adequate for some, unsatisfactory for others; not recommended for future stay.

We booked this room to attend a convention on Louisville without the big city price. For that it was good. The staff at checkin seemed ambivalent and robotic but efficient. Parking was easy and close. The lobby and room were clean. A few things will prevent us from booking again, though. The door of the room seemed a bit loose and insecure. I could see light on 3 of the 4 sides at night. There was no trashcan or surface in the bathroom, save for the toilet, to set things on while I'm the shower. The parking lot light was shining so brightly on the room that it felt like dawn all night. It made it difficult to sleep. The bed was very hard as well. Breakfast left something to be desired, as well.

Upon check in the desk clerk was very unfriendly. When asked about finding somewhere to go for pizza was told “I don’t eat pizza so I don’t really know”. He also seemed intoxicated and smelt of marijuana. When we came to the front desk for additional linens, clerk was in the back office room, very loud and unprofessional. Hotel itself was not very clean. Morning breakfast was disappointing.

Holiday Inn North was the perfect location from EVV and points north. Room comfortable, breakfast was just ok. I would like to see Holiday Inn use real serve ware and silverware instead of all the styrofoam...too much waste. Price right too for a three night stay.

Recently modernized. Loved the great lighting in the room and new sink/bathroom area and comfortable bed.. Very nice lamps and chair. Breakfast was great with sausage, eggs, cheese omelet,sausage gravy and biscuits plus the usual options.

Desk staff seemed almost put out by us when we checked in and then asked for more towels for the 6 of us, as the room only had 3. We chose not to use the pull out as originally intended for my older kids (5 and 8) as it didn't look as clean as it should (mildew staining maybe). The pool was fridged, to the point even my kids who love to swim year round would only swim for a few minutes. Breakfast was basic and okay.
