Vista Vallarta All Suites On The Beach

My travel companion and I had a very nice two bedroom suite right on the ocean, each room had a view, reasonably priced. The pool area is quite nice with lots of sun. Liked that there was a bar and restaurant on the property with great food, nice prices. The beach is rocky but has a nice sand area by the palapas. I would go there again.

Extremely friendly staff and lovely people. Comfortable clean spacious rooms with an amazing view of pool and ocean views from dining sized balconies. Adult Guest only swim up bar making for a nice additional amenity. We had one of very few Sandy beach locations that included comfy loungers & palapa along the coast strip.

The hotel itself is great. I would have happily given it a full 5-star rating, but there is construction taking place until January 2026, which impacted the overall experience. Unfortunately, during my stay, a red tide event brought dead fish onto the shore, making ocean access impossible at the time. But they have lovely lounge chases on the beach under Palapas. That said, the property is beautiful. The pool is large, sparkling clean, and surrounded by plenty of comfortable lounge chairs. My oceanfront suite was incredibly spacious, with a generously sized balcony offering stunning ocean views! The service was lovely—Naomi and Mirabella always greeted me with warm smiles every day, and Miguel, the cook, was nice. The food and drink prices are terrific, and they offer a daily two-for-one cocktail special, which is a great bonus! Although the construction was inconvenient, I still had a great stay and look forward to returning once the work is complete.

It was a bit of a walk into town especially returning at night but the taxi was quick and only 80 pesos. Really enjoyed the pool and swim up bar!

The road getting to the property off of highway 200 is extremly poor condition due to several active construction sites. The property is currently being updated so some of the rooms are updated and some of the rooms are old (request upated room). There is a new condo complex being buit next door so you can hear the construction and see the crane moving construction material around. The pool needs some work as there are missing tiles so be careful as several people cut there feet and the pool it self needs to be cleaned and debri skimmed and filters updated. We had to move rooms because we requested bottom floor units as we had a person with a wheel chair, this was communicated to the property resevation manager via email and telephone, but did not happen, this caused us to split our family up to accommodate the wheel chair. Overall not the best experience with communication.

We had a great stay here we were in a newer room jr classic suite which was large with a very nice ocean facing balcony. There is no elevator but staff assisted with carrying our luggage to the room, buildings have 3 floors and we were on the 2nd floor. Had a wonderful 5 days here at the end of our stay in Mexico.

Friendly staff. Nice pools, restaurant, beach umbrella area, unit, balcony. Uniquely we were in the 'bat cave' suite where a few hundred bats flowed like a waterfall out of the roof tiles above our unit at precisely 6:55 pm each evening. We enjoyed the show, with a glass of chilled wine, but some people might be freaked out. A bit far of a walk, for some, to central beach restaurants and amenities, but we like beach walking and so we got our daily step count and appetites up along the way. Quite a bit of development construction going on near us, so pretty noisy at times.

Located next to a noisy highway and also loud construction noise next door. Outward appearance was good. Rooms were clean. Parking easy. Snack bar and poolside bar were good. Pool and views were good, except the pool was not lit two of the nights we were there. Ocean swimming not too appealing with rocky shore. Not crowded at all, especially compared to other beach areas. Our room had issues. Was not able to get even one hot shower in five days - luke warm at best. Reported it daily. Sometimes there was hot water in the kitchen sink. Really bad smell in one bathroom - gaggingly bad - left it unusable. Reported it daily. Location is along a sideroad between highway and beach. the sideroad was in very bad shape with contruction equipment making it worse. Hazardous driving. A good restaurant and a bar within walking distance, but otherwise you have to head to Bucerias or farther for any shopping or dining options. If not for the lack of hot water, noise, and bad smell, would have been 4 stars.

A lot of construction on property. It is very dated but clean and comfortable. Right on the water, which is beautiful. Lots of great restaurants around. It was low season but it was often hard to find staff, so I didn’t enjoy any of the amenities.

The pool and beach access were nice but the images did not match online. Pool loungers had dirty cloth covers and flimsy plastic. The rooms were not clean, dated, cushion covers not zipped closed, chipped off dirty walls, water never got warm for shower.

Our unit was very old, dirty, walls were scuffed, stained, and dirty, the one bathroom smelled like sewage, and I had to mop the entire apartment twice to clean the floors. The AC in the MBR dripped even after it was "repaired". Had to put a large bowl with towels to catch and reduce the dripping noise all night. I looked at the photos of this resort on the hotels.com site. The suites in the photos looked like how things might have looked 20 years ago. The unit I was in needs paint, repair, and a thorough cleaning, not to mention new bathrooms and kitchen and soft furnishings. This is the first HORRIBLE accommodation I have had with Hotels.com and I travel a lot. The place does NOT look like the pictures!

The staff were very friendly. The room was immaculate.

My family of 6 (3 generations) stayed 9 nights at Vista Vallarta in March 2023. We absolutely loved our stay! We had a renovated family suite with a terrace overlooking the pool - very spacious, clean and comfortable. I should mention that none of our windows were facing the back of the hotel as some reviews have complained about the traffic noise from that direction. The swimming pool was amazing and many times we had it to ourselves. The beach was beautiful and a leisurely stroll of 20 – 30 minutes took you to the centre of town. The hotel restaurant food was incredible and reasonably priced - no complaints only praise from everyone in my family. I was so happy that my family enjoyed the restaurant food so much as finding an alternative on a nightly basis might have been difficult. I did not notice a lot of restaurants close by and moving around as a group of 6 was difficult by taxi. Incredible staff: wonderful young man (with glasses) who checked us in upon arriving couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely Flor who welcomed us every day at the front desk with a smile and lots of helpful information, Carlos who handled the bar and made the incredible smoothies the grandchildren loved! – excellent English and a great attitude. The other waiter who handled the breakfast restaurant was equally helpful and gracious. I don’t understand the negative reviews? Website photos of the hotel look like what we experienced! Thank you all for giving us a very memorable family vacation!

My husband and I stayed at the Vista in a Junior suite in April for one week. The room itself was OK although a little run down. On our 2nd day we had no hot water and complained. The maintence man came and ran the water for 40 min! He finally went down to the 3 residential hot water tanks that were supplying our water and adjusted something and told us everything was fine. We had hot water that evening but in the morning no hot water again. This went on for 4 days with no offer to give us a discount or move us. 1 1/2 days before we were to leave the manager arrived and finally fixed the water issue. Why no one called him before we'll never know. We also had a fridge that did not work, and they wanted us to change rooms. We asked if they could just move the fridge as they are just very light bar fridges. This did eventually happen, although made us feel like we were an incovenience. The food was average to poor. The snacks were ok, but their breakfast was not good...the worst Rancheros we have ever had. One morning we were the only people there and my husband order 2 eggs over easy and they arrived cold. Upon checking out, we again asked for a discount or a free night to make up for the water issue, but were told they couldn't do that. I asked for the Manager's name and emailed him when I got home, but never got a response...not suprised. We would never go back. Not having hot water for most of the trip and not offered compensation was completely unacceptable.

The hotel is a close walk into Bucerias. We enjoyed the beach and the pool. The bed was a tad uncomfortable but adequate. The view on the deck made up for any minor problems we had. We enjoyed the Bucerias area and found the lodging suited our needs perfectly

This hotel has beautiful views and rating the hotel in this state.. its a tired place. It is undergoing renovations so it will be difficult to rate. The street leading to it is awful too but it.promises to be better once sll the new build and renovations are complete. The beach is okay. A lot.of stones and pebbles. The.room was huge and comfortable but not sure what final renovations will be. The tv didn't work for two hours and they won't enter your room do. I spend two hours of a perfectly beautuful day because we like to watch TV in the evening. The staff is wonderful, food is good. It's okay for a couple of days for now.

I love the big rooms and balconies facing the sea. The poolis great, nice and warm.

Recently Renovated Good sized room with a nice view. Tons of hot water. King bed was nice but very hard - asked for a foam topper and one was put on N/P. Staff was great. Paulette and her girls. All very friendly. Augustine at the front desk was very helpful. On going renovations in the building next to the restaurant/bar/pool area and our room not so nice. Lots of construction noise particular jack hammer and hilti gun going off all day. 15% discount on food ok and appreciated but no amount of 2-1 drinks could offset the noise. Beach could be so beautiful but the recent hurricane has decimated what little was left so pretty much all rock which is really unfortunate.

I liked that all rooms had an ocean view. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

It is a lovely property, well cared for and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms could use some artwork especially the Living room as it's quite bare. The kitchen will need to be updated soon as its quite rundown. Otherwise everything else was very good. Price was very reasonable.

Front desk service was very friendly & helpful. Very accommodating and a reasonably priced late checkout. The family suite was spacious but old and tired. Cracked/missing tiles & baseboards, bathrooms that smelt like sewer gases in the morning, older slated windows etc. Other suites looked more modern than the one we stayed in. It was fine for one night but would have been disappointed if we had booked a family holiday for a week.

Me and my friends loved our stay here, we were at the pool and the beach everyday, and it was only a twenty minute easy walk to downtown where there’s tons of restaurants and the market. The only problems with our room were that one of our air conditioners didn’t work and one leaked, it didn’t come with free clean water so you had to buy jugs from the front desk for clean water, and our room’s wifi stopped working on the third day of our trip and never got fixed. Eventually we learned we could use the other room’s wifi, but still, it would’ve been nice to have had our own. The bar/restaurant only taking credit card was also not great because we would’ve been charged conversion rates so we never ended up getting to try it.

Service and Hotel amenities were great. Rooms were clean and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

En general me gustó mucho, debería de haber all inclusive. Meseros y recepción súper amables. Una pena que las camaristas solo limpien la habitación si están de buen humor

We had a great stay at Vista Vallarta. We booked last minute when other plans fell through so we didn't know much about the hotel or the area, but we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the property was comfortable and well suited to families. The beach is very quiet because it is a little ways away from town, so there was always a palapa available when we wanted one. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is a gem! They are redoing the streets infront of property so it doesn’t look great on outside but once u get into resort, it beautiful. We had the best time and the staff was INCREDIBLE, truly awesome❤️

This little gem it’s a work in progress. They are doing a great job renovating the units and I love the “hard to find” size of the rooms, they are like little apartments. The staff is super friendly and fun… specially the girls at the pool bar and restaurant! Paulina, Margarita, Marbella and Adriana. The cleaning crew comes to clean the rooms every day and change towels. The only thing I was initially disappointed was the beach… it is full of small rocks, but we got some water shoes close by and that solved the issue… we enjoyed the ocean! It was like a swimming pool… barely any waves! The food was delicious and they had the 2x1 promotion every day in drinks. It is very quiet

Save your money and go anywhere else. The staff is not helpful and lacks enough English to understand simple requests. Beach is VERY rocky and not close unless you walk the beach. Food is terrible and service is slow. Such a disappointment.

The town is great, a bit sleepy and the restaurants are great. Our hotel the staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is dated but the breakfast is good. Construction on both sides of the hotel and at the hotel so be sure to ask for a room away from the noise. Overall not had experience.
