Overall the hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. We were not told about a special event being held on Saturday night (we had 4 nights booked, Thurs - Sunday). There is a restaurant on the property where the event was being held. Half of the parking lot, nearest the restaurant, was blocked off from the hotel registrants. There was sufficient parking on the far side of the property, but for my husband specifically, he is disabled and the route was a bit tricky back to the room. Additionally, the special event was a professional DJ and the music was extremely loud and bumping. However, it did end at 10pm. Overall a minor nuisance, but believe we should have been warned about the event. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to friends, but suggest the front desk staff be more aware of events that could impact the guests.

The bathroom tap came off on the first day when I took a shower. The power was out for 2 days and we were without AC in over 30C.

The room looked nothign like the images. the carpet was stained and gross, it smelled liek cheap perfume. the lights int eh entry didnt work. the bathroom had mold on both the caileign and the shower curtains. the tub, bounced when stepping in it. all fixtre in the bathroom were falling off the walls and paint damages around it. the images show wood floors, fresh updated rooms. a balcony. our balcony door, didnt open, but looked onto a handicapped ramp, and had cigarett butts and garbage in the view. I asked the receptionsist for a room that looked like the images and upon showing him he said none do. there was no makager available until the next day at 10 am. I booke dthi sto relax and work remote from the cute desk and usingg the robe shown in every image and clean room in the mornign I swiftly woke up at 7 was there less than 12 hours, yet had to pay a resort fee to use no amenties and get the heck out of there! I felt unclean and unsafe in this space! and there was no help from any staff. he said he can move me to a room in the orhter buildign that looke dthe same on teh 4th floor and the elevator was broken! and upon reading the reviews it has been for over a month!! this is deralect and do not waste your time and money!

Surprised by a $27 "resort fee" at check in, that's never mentioned before. Then a $24.40 parking fee per day. Bathtub was like riding ocean wave...really! No coffee maker in room and restaurant didnt open until 11am.....checkout time. Mini-frig too small to hold take-out boxes. On the plus side, tv was huge property was clean, and pool area great. Beautiful location on shore of waterway.

We did not know This until our second night Overall it was still a nice two nights and I would def go back here Great pool. Able to fish from the docks in the back. In the middle of it all and able to Drive quickly to many surrounding destinations

Cool location- pool with water access. Palm Tree Club restaurant is a spot for Saturday afternoon events, but drinks are overpriced. During regular restaurant hours the food menu is also overpriced for what is offered. Stayed in Miami multiple times, various locations, still trying to figure this one out. The lobby is updated, looks and smells great, but the rooms don't match that aesthetic. Its an old hotel theyre trying to revamp, but still have a lot of work to do. Shower and sink drains were very slow to go down and bathroom had a mildew smell to it. No towel refresh- gave us 1 washcloth for 2 people and 3 nights. Had to ask daily for towels at the pool but they offered water and sunblock which was a nice touch. For a quick weekend trip, it served the purpose especially for the price but it would not be my first choice to stay again.

Property was decent, we all know the saying, you get what you pay for. Our balcony had a severe wet spot that I slipped on a few times. The floor could use more TLC when cleaning, my wife's white socks were pretty dirty by day 2 of our trip. Took about 4 hours to get some clean washcloths because there was only one in the bathroom. View was nice. Bedding and bathroom was clean.

The staff was very friendly. Good location. The reception desk was new, and the pool was nice. However, the rooms were in terrible condition: the air conditioning units were very old, noisy, and leaked into the room. The bathroom door was ruined due to humidity. The bathroom walls had a plastic covering that was peeling off instead of tiles. The furniture was very old and damaged. The ground-floor rooms were damp. The hallway ceilings were leaking, and the central air conditioning unit was constantly making an unbearable noise.

Stayed in Room 312 and was shocked by how poorly maintained the room was. The pillow had a terrible smell and visible stains, there was a dirty towel and a used Q-tip under the bed, and the entire area was dusty. There were also stains on the tile floor, and no garbage can in the bedroom. It was clear the room had not been cleaned properly. Totally unacceptable for any hotel. Definitely would not stay here again. I guess that’s what you get for what you pay.

We stayed here one night. We could not get change to use the laundry facilities. Thinks the first place I have ever stayed at that didn’t provide coffee at all. It was pretty dirty and run down everywhere. I tripped on a tile that came all the way loose on the pool deck. There wasn’t supposed to be any smoking but there was a dirty ashtray on our balcony and smoke Billowing in from The back where people smoked right at the entrance. I will not stay here ever again and wouldn’t recommend it to a bum on the street. This place is subpar.

I checked in the room was clean from first glance. Then I started finding straight black hair on the sheets and towels. My hair is straight but it’s fire red. The tiny ants all over the bathroom. The tv not working and the ac never got cold no matter what it was set to.

Everything was okay , great view and location to beaches but I was there 4 nights and started loosing my AC night 2 and then the AC went all the way out by night 4 with the help of construction ppl cutting the power in the area along with it already going out on me : shower water TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE was strange , bathroom had little bugs along the sink : but bed slept great !

I reserved the hotel specifically for water front room and they did not provide instead they have me different one which we did not like it. Room and amenities definitely not for this price I paid. Not a good experience.

The air conditioning in the room was nearly non existent and has not been replaced since the construction of the building in the 1950s. The toilet in the room malfunctioned multiple times as well as the plumbing in the shower. The property was decorated adorable and the restaurant was nice. However even with all of its decor charm I would not stay here again as the basics of air conditioning and functional plumbing were lacking.

The property is quite old. Elevator was so rickety we opted for the stairs. The room shown on Expedia isn't the room they gave us. They blamed Expedia and supposed Expedia tried to contact them for a refund, but couldn't, oh the irony that Expedia suddenly couldn't reach the property. I call BS!!! The bathroom is extremely small amd the tub was wobbly and felt like we were on a surfboard. The front desk didn't bring the extra towels I requested, I asked 3 times. Hated the entire experience and extremely disappointed in Expedia! I won't be using Expedia again to book anything.

Do not waste you money here!! I booked the bay front room . Upon arriving I was told the elevator is still not working and we are on the 5th floor. When we get to the room the bathroom toilet is broken , there are broken chairs literally seats busted out on the balcony, phone did not work , tv was not working . Absolute ridiculous . We ended up checking out early and booking another location near by . What should of been a relaxing birthday weekend started as a nightmare with this joke of a hotel

I stayed at Palm Tree Club from May 7-9. We arrived late in the evening on the 7th. There was no receptionist to check us in, but the security guard was there and he seemed friendly and helpful enough. We got our keys and went to our room. Immediately upon entering, the floor had a giant puddle right in the “foyer” area. I assumed maybe it was from them cleaning and just missed a spot and it hadn’t dried yet. I threw some towels on it and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning it was absolutely soaked on the floor and I couldn’t see why. We left and came back and saw that the ceiling was dripping, which is what caused the water on the floor. We were going back out so I let the receptionist know as we were leaving. She said she would send up maintenance for a repair. When we returned that evening, it appeared as they had fixed the problem. Around 2am I awoke to the sound of water dripping again. Go and look and see water is coming out of the ceiling tile again. Call the front desk and of course no answer. It dripped harder and harder until we were nearing check out where it was literally pouring out of the ceiling. Made a complaint with the front desk and they apologized and agreed to waive the resort fees. I agreed and they promised I would not be charged. They lied, I was charged and now they refuse to refund me. I had to file a claim with my bank.

I’ve stayed here multiple times while visiting Miami. This hotel is older but well maintained and clean. The staff is attentive and for being in a major city it was surprisingly quiet.

When i first checked in on Monday 7/21 at about 435 pm, there was a very nice staff memeber who checked us in and were very welcoming. Her name was Chiara. Ive only saw her the day of my check in and never saw her the rest of my stay. Wednesday morning we went to the front desk and asked can our room be cleaned and they assured us it would be. Wednesday night when we arrived back yo oyr room, it was not cleaned. We went back yo the front desk and there were a guy there and he said he doesnt have any house keeping now bit they will come clean in the morning. They came to clean Thursday evening which i saw when i arrived back to my room Thirsday night which defeated the purpose because i had to check out Friday morning. The majority of tge staff at the hotel is Latino and irs a languelafe barrier. Otger than that, my stay was different from other hotels ive stayed at in the past. Yhe pool was nice and clean, clean towels. The restaurant food was great but if you dine in, you will be charged a $20 service fee, i guess that's for the price of the 2 free complimentary drinks that each guess recieve. I think the rooms should have brooms, dust pans and mops. Housekeeping is scarce and it seems that they only clean certain rooms regularly, maybe upon request but i requested ywice and my room still wasby cleaned. Although the house keeping issues, my stay was okay.

Property was clean, however customer service was horrible. They didn’t have our room ready in time, and when we asked for the manager, they didn’t even come. There were no towels available in the morning to shower. Phone lines were not even available and even if it was in some rooms they would not answer.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. I could not reach anyone on the phone, no matter how many times I called the front desk or housekeeping. I requested housekeeping three times, and no one ever showed up. On top of that, the room key was a constant issue—it stopped working every time we came back from outside, and we had to go downstairs to reactivate it. This happened every 5 to 6 hours, which was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient.

The hotel placed a £211 deposit hold on 28/10, which unfortunately has still not been released (now 8 days). I have sent several emails to the reservations/accounts teams but have not received a clear update. Hotels.com has also contacted the hotel on my behalf regarding the release of the funds. This delay is not acceptable, as the held amount is causing me to incur daily overdraft interest. I would greatly appreciate it if this matter could be resolved urgently.

I traveled to Miami for the TikTok Fragrance Lab and was really looking forward to staying near the water at Palm Tree Hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon check-in, I was asked to write my credit card info on a sticky note, which felt extremely unsafe and unprofessional. I didn’t feel comfortable handing over sensitive information in that way. Additionally, I had booked my room two weeks in advance, only to be told my reservation had somehow been reassigned — and that I had to cancel it, which made no sense. The staff I interacted with, including security and a young woman at the desk, were not welcoming or helpful during a stressful moment. Thankfully, I ended up booking at the DoubleTree nearby (by the police station and 7-Eleven), and they gave me a much better experience. Amazing location—situated between Miami Beach and downtown, so it was fast to get where we wanted. The waterfront setting and marina dock made arriving by boat a breeze. Also loved that pets are allowed and that there's luggage storage so our arrival and departure were totally stress‑free.

The hotel isn’t super clean and some things are a bit worn down. It definitely looks better in photos than in person. That said, the location is pretty good—but keep in mind you’ll need a car. If you’re hoping for a more walkable experience, you’re better off staying in Miami or Miami Beach. For the price, it’s decent, just don’t expect too much. It’s a good spot to sleep and go, especially if you’re only in town for a short trip.

I did not like that i had to pay $2.60 each day for coffee,my t.v. didnt have signal the whole 4 days i was there,some of the towels are stained,also i found a roach in my room,the fridge in the room wasnt keeping the drinks cold enough,also there was not a coffee maker in the room like they did last year,the prices at the restaurant are WAYYY more expensive than last year since they have new owners im guessing.The pool was ok and did enjoy the view from my balcony.

Not bad foir a budget hotel, offers free car parking, as many other hotels demand up to $50 per night, so this was a positive point. The service is average, so dont expect anyone to go out of their way to help you. You also need to complete a form to get your breakfast (very limited options - croissants, muffins, coffee or orange juice) so nothing special here, when i made reservations i was advised its a full breakfast, so dont expect this otherwise you will be dissapointed. The hotel also didnt tell us we need to complete the forms before 5pm previous night, so 2 days we got nothing just a coffee which i had to wait for 20 mins, plus you need to collect breakfast if you get it from Reception, all in a paper bag, again seems poor service. But the hotel did remove the resort fee of $67 due to not advising correctly of the process. Bathroom was tiny and needs attention. But again, we didnt stay around the hotel just slept at night and explored Miami. Would I stay again??? probably not, i would try and find an Air BNB as they have more space and convenience. There are lots of food and fast food options nearby and the location is good as it was about 10-15 minutes to Beach area or Downtown in a car.

When I got there the confirmed hotel room that I had with a balcony was not available, they put me in another room. That was the reason I booked the hotel in the first place to have a balcony room they adjusted the price. The restaurant said it was open breakfast lunch and dinner, but it was not open for breakfast and the parking is very weird. I had to park on the backside of the other Hotel wing and walk through the entire complex to get to my room and two of the nights, the lights in the parking lot did not work.

During regular restaurant hours the food menu is also overpriced for what is offered. Stayed in Miami multiple times, various locations, still trying to figure this one out. The lobby is updated, looks and smells great, but the rooms don't match that aesthetic. Its an old hotel theyre trying to revamp, but still have a lot of work to do. Shower and sink drains were very slow to go down and bathroom had a mildew smell to it. No towel refresh- gave us 1 washcloth for 2 people and 3 nights. Had to ask daily for towels at the pool but they offered water and sunblock which was a nice touch. This is the best kept secret in Miami as far has places to stay go. It was fantastic from top to bottom! From the cute pool with a view of the ocean to the clean beach getaway smell you get the moment you walk into the room. The bar closed early on sunday and they didn’t have vending machines for water. So if you want anything to drink your out of luck unless you wanna pay $8 for a bottle of fiji water they leave in your room. Also, the hotel puts a $150 hold on your card apart from what you pay, it’s been over a week and they still haven’t released the hold for a 1 night stay, they don’t pick up when I’ve called multiple times. It’s in a bad location to pull out of. And they only had like 2 workers. However the place felt clean, and has a beautiful view of the water. The pool was clean, and they had lots of space to sit out on their deck in comfy porch furniture plus we had a balcony room. That was a nice touch.

It’s in a bad location to pull out of. And they only had like 2 workers. However the place felt clean, and has a beautiful view of the water. The pool was clean, and they had lots of space to sit out on their deck in comfy porch furniture plus we had a balcony room. That was a nice touch.
