I enjoyed staying this clean hotel. The property was missing a full time manager and had few very efficient staff. It look like the hotel was in the process of hiring more staff. There was no happy hour as there as not enough staff. I am not a drinker so I really do not need a happy hour. The hotel located a short half mile walk to many restaurants. It has a small exercise room.

Restaurant and bar were not operating. No vending machines or area to purchase snacks or necessities. No ice machines. Guest rooms were very nice...renovations looked great. Very nice staff

A/C in the window over the desk. Too far from the bed. Had two bottles of water in the fridge I wasn’t aware of until I left. Also, was charged a facility fee of $18 a day because it wasn’t included in the price I paid Expedia.

The overall hotel is impressive. 16$ resort fee seemed excessive. We didnt have many emenities in the room. Just a fridge. No coffee maker or ice bin.

Free parking , in general it feels like suburban area but is located close to the Capitol and Federal buildings. Easy access to highway. Large rooms , with up to date amenities .

Nice charming hotel located close to downtown. I could see it was renovated. Room was good size. Bed was comfortable. It has destination charger listed, but the price was not listed. And the cost was $25/charge, which was crazy expensive. Should list it on the listing. My husband is allergic to down feather, when he called front desk said no other pillow options. I called again to tell them that my husband is allergic to down feather and if they could go borrow pillows from a sister hotel or something. Then the front desk person went to find one foam pillow for us. I was not impressed with the service or the hospitality the hotel has to offer.

Poor signage. Doors just state “restaurant is closed”. No actual signage on the doors to indicate that you are entering the lobby of the hotel. Parking lot is icy and slippery. It last snowed 4 days prior. No care taken to ensure guest safety.

Hotel looked better in the on line photo, inside was clean but the room was plain nasty , I walked into a moldy bathroom and when I turned on the AC I got a blast of moldy air in my face see photos. The set off my allergies for the night runny nose watering eyes and sneezing . Complained to the front desk and she apologized and moved me to another room . I didn’t hear from a manager. I was sick all night and in this little town I didn’t have any options at this late hour and last minute .

Way overpriced. The towels were stringy, the shower had mold and didn’t feel clean. The sink was all cracked. Wallpaper was peeling. The bed was not comfortable. The restaurant wasn’t open and the morning coffee was cold. When you work hard and save up for a trip and get this type of room for $345 a night, it’s very disappointing.

I found the centennial to be comfortable but certainly tired. Room 210 needs a freshening for sure. The button on the AC is worn off, the blinds were broken, the sink and toilet stained mostly from wear. The walls and doors need to be wiped down. The room really needs an upgrade if you are going to advertise as a higher end hotel. The lobby area was very nice and I appreciated the breakfast and early coffee.

Disappointed that the rooms look like they have not been updated in a very long time, carpet was really old , blinds were very dusty and old as well. Continental breakfast was a nice bonus, but will probably not stay here again unless there is a little Maintenace done to the rooms

This building is lovely. We stayed on the two days that the restaurant wasn't open, so I can't comment on that. It was dead quiet though and that was the most important thing to me. I always google reviews that say the hotel was quiet. It was. We were able to park within easy distance of the door where you'd bring in luggage. The staff were friendly and available.

Nice quiet location and hotel. Continental breakfast is very simple. We had a hard time sleeping because the room was 76 degrees most the night. I tried setting the thermostat to cooling mode at 68 but it still kept blowing hot air all night until we finally figured out at 5AM that someone had set the fan to always on so it kept blowing heat no matter what we set the thermostat to. After changing it to automatic fan and putting thermostat back to heat mode with the set temp at 68 the fan finally stopped blowing heat. Unfortunately the room didn’t cool down that fast because there was no cooling available on the HVAC so we had to wait for the room to cool down on its own. If only we had realized someone set the heat to always on sooner we could have cooled the room down for a good night sleep. Partly out user error but I also think the housekeeping shouldn’t set the heat to be always blowing.

Checkin was easy, staff were friendly, ambiance in the hallways was pleasant, and room was clean and odorless. “Superior king” was a small room, but not uncomfortably so. Water from the tap was delicious and pressure and temperature fine. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. A/C vent whistled a bit and kept my wife up but I didn’t notice it - thermostat on wall didn’t control air flow from what we could tell. Continental breakfast was … well, is any continental breakfast great? We had to go get bagel sandwiches. They’re still using disposable shampoos & lotions, which might appeal to traditional travelers but I would have loved a more eco-friendly option. Didn’t try the grill, went walking to downtown and had a great time.

Clean and convenient, the Centennial was a nice place for a couple night stay. The bed and the pillows were not the best for us. The pillows felt new but compressed to almost no cushioning when slept on overnight.

Wonderful room. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the complimentary robes in the room. It was chilly in our room due to the drop in temperature outside in the midst of summer. The third floor could not compensate for that change. We also understand it is an old building so the heating is an old system. Overall, we would stay here again! It was fun to stay in such a unique hotel.

Well, upon checking into the facility I felt immediately not welcome there by the look on the receptionist’s face. She looked extremely grumpy like she was getting ready to get off her shift and someone all of a sudden came in and interrupted that. I complained about her to the other staff member and was told that she might have been very tired due to short staffing.

I booked the room on expedia and paid online, but still being charged USD95.2called Room OTA Exempt in the hotel. Even 10 days after I left the hotel, I were still charged like CAD23 for 'I don't know why 'reason. Later I call the Hotel and ask for the explain for several times, every time they told me they will call back or email me, but I've not received any reply.

We stayed just one night prior to an early departure on the bus from Concord. It's convenient, clean, quiet and close to the bus station. The bar and restaurant are closed; we didn't know this until we arrived. Also, the signage is poor. There were signs for the restaurant, but it wasn't obvious which door was for the hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly.

We stayed there during an ice storm and they accommodated us immediately when we reported that the room was a little chilly. Parking was convenient and they kept the lot plowed and salted. The restaurant is now closed but I hope it reopens one day because it was very good when I stayed there many years ago.

Worked out very nicely. Very convenient to downtown for concert, restaurants, etc. Quiet location, on site parking. A bit light on the amenities, but appreciate the availability and afforability. Walkable to downtown.

It was fine, it just looks a little….tired. The TV situation is VERY weird. And breakfast was bad, just some stale pastries. However, it was quiet and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the building.

A few things kept this from being an excellent stay. There is a restaurant on site but it’s closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (the days we were there). Unfortunately we weren’t aware it wouldn’t be open so we had to get back in the car and drive to find food. The rooms do not have a coffee maker or microwave. Breakfast is light - cereal, bagel, pastry but nothing hot. We enjoyed our stay but were a little disappointed.

Restaurant is only open currently a few nights per week and only offers continental breakfast for guests. Full service hotel should be just that, full service. Overall, property condition is good to very good if you like historic hotels. People were great. Will likely stay there again.

Love this place. Minus one star because restaurant not available for some mechanical reason. Usually, it wouldn't matter that much, however, I've stayed here 7 times previously. This is the 3rd time restaurant was closed on a Friday or Saturday night. I understand it's an old building . Time to obtain a generator, back up oven and stove, upgrade the pipes. Just for me ? Yes please.
