Stayed 2 nights

My room was what I paid for other than some hair that wasn’t mine on the counter. My biggest complaint is that I am a night shift nurse. I am here in town working, and my hours are 7 PM to 7 AM. I asked for a late checkout after working a long shift so I could sleep before going to work again, and they only tried to give me an extra two hours and charge me $50 for that. I have stayed here before and a late checkout was never an issue or an extra charge, but this time it suddenly became a problem—and because of that, I will not be staying here again. Not only did I have to pay for a full night when I wouldn’t even be there, but the situation got worse. After I explained that I needed to sleep because I had just worked all night, the front desk still called my room multiple times, completely disrupting the little rest I was able to get. For anyone working night shift or needing flexibility, I would not recommend this hotel. Consistency and basic consideration for guests’ schedules should be a given, and unfortunately, that was not my experience this time.

Easy check-in and great service! Love the complimentary breakfast. Lots of choices. The television has options where you can watch live TV or choose to be entertained by using the built-in apps like YouTube, Netflix or Prime TV. The room is spacious. Large table to eat at. Kitchenette is great with a full size refrigerator, set-up with a dishwasher, stove, microwave, sink, dishes and utensils are provided for guests in the room. Larkspur was located in a safe area and I had no concerns. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I'm in the area of Hillsboro!

This was a comfortable and quiet hotel. Not a lot of options for breakfast, but what was there was good. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We have family in the area and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 1 night

I have been a regular guest at this hotel due to its proximity to a family member in long term care. Today I was informed that the pet policy has changed from a reasonable nightly fee to a flat fee for 1-4 nights. This means a 2 night stay has double the per fee from before. I was also informed that a hot breakfast was no longer being served, just continental. These changes mean it now make more sense for me to move to a hotel with friendlier policies on my subsequent trips. The value for me has been significantly diminished. This is unfortunate, because up till now I had been quite pleased with this hotel.
