Extended Stay America Suites - Portland - Beaverton Hillsboro - Eider Ct

It wasn’t great. The people in the lobby were something out of a movie. The staff had two dogs running around. The smoking shack out back next to our window wasn’t quiet until 2am. The fire alarm was going off until midnight.

At 3am on my second floor the fire alarm was going off for an hour.

Great for a one night! Didn't realize it had a stove top and large fridge which is a unexpected nice surprise.

We didn't need it but it was nice to have the full refrigerator and the cooktop. It would be nice to have some minimal dishes without asking for the kitchen kit because a spoon to stir with and some coffee cups, disposable is fine, would have been helpful. We didn't know to ask for them until we were ready for bed. Only ones provided were water cups. Room was good.

AC was super noisy. Fridge was also louder than the tv.

The room is clean and quiet. We were on the 1st floor, close the exit door, easy in and out for the parking.

The touch pad to open the front door for handicapped people does not function properly

The front door touch pad access does not work & it was hard for me to get through the door with my luggage. Other than that the room is great, thx

When I first arrived, my key doesn’t work and then it was cockroaches on the room

The front desk staff was extremely helpful, friendly, accommodating, respectful. Each listened to our requests with attentiveness. Pam & another (don't know her name) wished us a safe trip home. On the other hand, I was shocked at the dirty everything. Once I found the phone wall connection, I was disgusted by the dirt behind the nightstand. The phone was particularly filthy. I used a Lysol wipe it & was astounded by the dirt that covered its surface. The bathroom floor corners included loose hairs & dust. The mattresses sunk in the center. The hot plates were burned. Once we arrived into our room & discovered the filth, we preferred to check out, but because we paid Expedia, receiving a refund was not possible, although I called them.

The whole hotel smells terrible

Our room was filthy. Blood spots on mirror and mattress. Sticky shots on floor and walls and cupboards. We checked in, took a look around and left. Trying to get a refund. Booked a different hotel DO NOT STAY HERE

The room was disgusting! Hairs in the shower, the towels had something red on them. I will NEVER stay there again. The carpets were disgusting, the rooms smelled like smoke, the entire place was nasty.

Upon entering the lobby, it reeked of weed. The individual at the front desk was nice and she was very apologetic for the following: we booked 2 rooms, the first room was ok, but smelly and dirty towels, the second room was filthy and there was someone\'s clothes still in the drawers and makeup in the bathroom sink. We were given another room, that reeked of weed and there were hairs on the dirty sheets and bracelets in the shower. We were given yet another room, which was a little better but for the price we paid, it was not worth it...the next morning at check out, we let the "gentleman" at the front desk know of our experience and he got ANGRY! What a joke! He must be in charge of housekeeping or is the housekeeper! HORRIBLE experience! Never again will we stay at this "hotel" or any other Extended Stay.

We came in late. We walked in the first room, and it smelt so bad. It was like cat’s pee. Hubby found a roach in the bathroom. We walked out to ask for another room. The second room was a little better with no bad smell. Then we found hairs on the bedsheets. We left at 7am.

Cocroges every where in the rooms

Absolutely DISGUSTED first room we were given had toe nails all over the floor, i went down and talked to someone they put us in another room that had dog hair everywhere, And then my child and i woke up at about 12am with what i thought was bedbugs crawling all over us. I woke my daughter up and went down to the office and had the lady come up with me. She informed me they were BABY COCKROACHES! She offered us a room downstairs i declined and we had to leave and go find another room.

For the price for the area, I don't think it was okay. The hallway and room had a foul odor. Plus the floor was sticky, the tub was icky, and there were cockroaches scurrying about the room when we walked in. I expect all that at a motel 6 or a mom-and-pop motel, NOT an Extended Stay.

Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Heater/cooler in the room was extremely noisy, as was the refrigerator. The person in the room above mine was up moving around off and on all night and their floor was very squeaky and sounded as if they were going to come through my ceiling at any moment. For the price of the room, I expected everything to work properly and for the room to be quiet.

Affordable and quit, just a little out dated, beds could be more comfortable.

Breakfast was a joke. The floor is squeaky. Can hear every step from the floor above.

Convenient location, staff was friendly. Nice lighted parking lot. Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Rooms not very soundproof, heard our neighbors.

The thing that drew us to this property was it was off hwy 26. Easy to get to but the room wasn’t what we expected the bed was super uncomfortable you could feel the springs. The air conditioner made a sound that sounded like it was dieing every time it turned off and on. The free breakfast a granola bar and cold coffee ya that was disappointing.

The staff were friendly on the night crew . Clover , the night desk. Person eas very friendly made the check in process easy. Nick also was friendly and made the stay comfortable.

The staff at this location are clearly committed to their jobs. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We stayed at other hotels in the Portland area and never received the same care. These people should be commended!

I had called in advance letting them know I will check in around 1 in the morning to make sure someone will be there for check in and I was told they were. when I arrived I was told check in was at 3pm earlier that day and I was not able to check in and had to find somewhere else. Very upsetting.

Wait for over 20 Mins to check out but nobody at front desk at all

So we have stayed here plenty of times and GM Nina and the assistant Nick are the most amazing people. Then you go down to the front desk in the evening and in the morning and Pam and Clover are right their giving you the 5 star treatment. Then Ronda at night is super amazing and up for taking care of the coffee and Theresa well she is always ready to give you a towel set. Thank you to all you guys your amazing....

Arrived at midnight, with a reservation, and was told that there were no rooms available due to a flooding issue. Frustrated because I received zero notification of my reservation being canceled. No phone call, no text message, no email, and no message of cancellation through the Hotels.com app that I scheduled this reservation with. The clerk, on duty, who had arrived at 11 PM, was very pleasant, and called a couple of their hotels to see if they had rooms available. The first hotel had no rooms available. The second hotel had no double rooms available, but they did have a room with a king, and a pull out. We stayed at the room with the king, and the pullout, but of course, were charged an increased rate over the original double room that we had booked. The new room, at the hotel, was in the same chain, Extended StayAmerica, system. I would’ve thought it would appropriate that they charged me the reservation rate for the double room, that was canceled with no notification, and which also required me to drive to a different location, and use a room, that was not what I wanted. Again, kudos to the clerk, Teresa, who called around to find us a room. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The place was fine but it is in an area with a large homeless population so i was worried about my truck being broke into

There’s homeless clothing and blankets stashed around the property, stairwell, outside around the parking lot. My room reeked of cigarette smoke to the point I had to go and buy an air freshener from the store just to be able to sleep. The staff were nice and they just try to do their best but it was kind of a last minute accommodation I won’t do again.

The stay was pleasant. Location is odd and my maps did not easily guide us there, but it was also nice to be tucked away without much traffic. Staff was helpful. Bed was not excellent but good enough for a decent night sleep. TV was too small for room size. Air Conditioner was necessary and made an aweful racket when on. Room was clean upon arrival.

Fairly good value for money. Located in a decent area thats well connected to the nearby towns. The amenities are decent. Some things are in need of repair, but nothing terrible. Check in/out was smooth and easy. The staff seem very nice.

Liked the affordable price, set back from main road to reduce noise, full-size refrigerator, and comfortable bed. The adjacent walking trail was a nice bonus. It does need room darkening curtains, since the parking lot light were bright. Also, the carpet in room is showing wear and needs to be replaced.

Convenient location west of Portland.

Hotel is close to eating spots & great place to stay when we visit our daughter.

Property was good, a little difficult to find since local addresses were changed, but Expedia hasn’t updated its listing

One of the attraction for me was this included breakfast. At best, i qas expecting eggs and/a variety of cereals. At worst, i expected a variety of pastries. What was offered was Nutragrain bars, packaged mini-muffins, and packaged oatmeal. The 1st morning they had run out of milk 1 hour into Bkfst. This was all horrible. The room never was serviced with clean sheets or towels. There was no hair dryer. Finally, the walls were paper thin, so i was able to listen to a phone conversation in one room and a person walking in their room for a good hour. In all, I expected more, much, much more. Miserable and disgusting!

Average hotel and so not expensive! Good for one night stay! Muffin and coffee to go for breakfast.

The hotel was in a decent location and the staff were nice. However, the building had a pungent and widely distributed aroma of marijuana (though it claimed to be a non-smoking space). The included continental breakfast was only coffee, hot water, and nutri grain bars. There was a cockroach in my kitchen. We had to request supplies for the kitchen and then the toaster provided didn't work. We had reservations for 3, but towels were only provided for 2 guests and no towels were available at the front desk until the 2nd night of our stay. The phone in our room also did not work, so trying to contact the front desk to get towels meant walking down to the front desk repeatedly. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

The hotel room was fine. They advertise it a grab and go breakfast. There was no food on all three mornings of my stay. I went earlier each day and the staff was not helpful in this regard. I would not stay there again as this should never happen when they offer breakfast. Two of the mornings they didn’t even have coffee.

We were only there one night, but the property had everything we needed, except a breakfast.

Muffins in plastic wrap are NOT a breakfast. Further, none were available on our first morning of our stay, per the person at the front desk, "the days quota had been consumed" when we looked for the "Free Breakfast"...
