SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lexington Near the University of Kentucky

My 12 year old and I stayed here for a week long basketball camp. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean and tidy. The parking was plentiful and well lit. Breakfast was easy and fast. The rooms were clean and had plenty of space. Thanks for a great stay!!!

The property is extremely close to University of Kentucky. Staff was friendly. Parking was an issue late at night but this was due to move in times for University of Kentucky and trailers taking extra spots. Kitchen area in room was not very clean and there was mold in the coffee pot due to water left in there and looks like coffee maker exploded. Overall good stay woukd stay again.

From check in to check out, it was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and fast to meet our every need. The hotel is very clean and located in a safe area. Parking was easy and free. Our suite was perfect for myself and my three teens to stay comfortably for four nights. If we return to Lexington- this is for sure where we will stay again.

Our hotel room looked clean and the staff was kind and helpful. However, our family awoke the next morning with multiple flea bites and while it is a pet-friendly hotel, we did not have our dogs with us. I kindly reported it to the front desk and did not wish to make a big issue of it. Thinking about it later though, we decided to report it on the evaluation as a warning to other travelers. Hotel staff said they would take care of it, so we are hopeful they did. If so, it is a great place to stay in a convenient location.

We were in town for daughter’s volleyball tournament. Hotel was close to the event and convenient to everything we wanted to do during our stay. Hotel was very clean & staff was great.

The room had a bad smell and all of the towels were damp.

This was one of my worst stays ever. We were given the room on the second floor directly above the lobby entrance and it was the first room you reach as soon as you exited the elevator (Room 218). We stayed there on a Thursday night so the hotel was not full so they could have put us anywhere else. I believe when you book through Expedia they give you the worst room possible sometimes. All night long you could hear the music from the lobby playing below. As the guest came in and out of the doors you can hear them talking outside as the smoked and checked in. As people came upstairs you can hear them exiting the elevator and walking down the hall. Initially we didn’t think the room would be a problem. It wasn’t until everyone was in bed and trying to sleep that the noise was very noticeable. We had an early morning and needless to say we didn’t sleep well at all. I didn’t want to drag the kids out of bed and have them pack up at 1:30 am so we tried to bear it. We checked out the next day. Besides that, the room was clean except for the pull out bed. It’s had dirt and crumbs all over it from the previous person that had the room. We had to ask for a vacuum to get it up so my daughter can lye down. The breakfast was ok. Waffles, eggs, sausage and pastry. But there’s a Waffles House was right next door if you wanted something else.

Staff was super friendly, other than the complaints I have it was great. But I walked into the bathroom barefooted and stepped on a little sliver of glass, and it’s still lodged in my heal. Also, maybe where the thermostat in in the front and the ac unit is in the back, but it was either freezing cold or burning up hot in the bed area. I like it cold when I sleep, but not that cold and there’s no in between. The volume on the tv was the same, either booming loud or so quiet you can’t hear it, couldn’t enjoy a movie because of the constant need to adjust the volume.

Very convenient to UK!! Rooms are large and spacious. Great selection of restaurants close by. Ume Craft Ramen was amazing!!

Nice sized room for 6 of us. Extra sink at the kitchenette was helpful. Breakfast was good but they shut it down at 9 am on the dot during weekdays which isn't conducive to vacation. Helpful staff

I was very disappointed to learn there was no housekeeping service. The breakfast was acceptable. Please let Jeanette at guest services know that we appreciated her helpfulness and warm smile.

We were staying for a wedding. Alexis and front desk staff were exceptional. Anything we could've possibly needed was accommodated. Rooms were ready a little early, super clean. Breakfast was delicious.

My daughter & I waited for 15 min for the front desk attendant to come to the front desk…after waiting 15 minutes I called the number on the wall..I think the ringing phone woke him up.

Great location for our college visit experience

My stay was a good experience. The hotel is close enough to downtown Lexington which made a short drive to restaurants and the event we were attending. The room very clean & orderly. The bed was really comfortable. I would stay here again the next time I am in Lexington.

Our TVdid not wo4k correctly and unable to get onto the the internet. The breakfast was disappointing,, I need to eat gluten free and there was nothing I was able to eat very disappointed. One nice surprise was Wednesday night they had appetizrrs for guest thank you for that

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel and room was clean and we receive great customer service with a friendly staff. My only issue is they stop serving breakfast 15 minutes earlier than the time they were supposed to stop. Me and my family arrived late and we were tired so we were not able to get up as soon as breakfast started, but we wanted to ensure that we got there before the breakfast ended. By the time we got there, the lady that was servicing the dining area had put up everything and clean everything up with 15 minutes to spare. Another family were still coming down behind us looking for breakfast and they were disappointed also. Otherwise all was well.

They were out of half of their normal offerings for breakfast. Unusual.

The breakfast has a long period from 7 am to 10 am, which is what I really like.

Only thing bad was breakfast. Limited food and barely warm
