Room rate was triple the norm due to demand. $300/night after taxes for a 2 star hotel. First room was very musty and pillow had a B.O. smell. AC wasn't working so there was high humidity in the room. Wife tried washing her hands and the soap dispenser fell off the wall to reveal it had been duct taped up there. The apologetic and helpful staff member changed our room and the new one was... as good they have I think. It was clean, AC worked but I'm guessing it hasn't been updated since they opened. Complimentary "breakfast to go" bar was actually really good. Nice selection, great single brew coffee, good food options and even GF choices. Convenient location for chain stores, fast food and access to Rt 23. There is an indoor pool which looked clean but we didn't get the chance to utilize it. I did receive a text offering another weekend stay at the rate of $67/night, which is much more in line with this hotel's value.

Room was clean. The rest of the Motel was under construction. Breakfast Bar was in a conference room. Not very Good. Overall, outside looks better than inside. Really needs the remodeliing that is getting done. More like a Comfort Inn at a Holiday Inn Express price.

The breakfast area was being renovated and the pool was closed.

No service in room and no hot water and elevator was not in service part of the 4 days we were there

Unfortunately it was not stated that the swimming pool heater was not working and evidently it is a common issue. I could have booked another hotel if i knew that in advance.

The bathroom floor was not swept. The bathtub had gross marks that looked like somone was cut up in it. The tv kept going out. The people above me were super loud. The back door was broken, but no parking left in front. The bed was comfortable.

The property needs some attention. The gym has several pieces of broken equipment and the TV is missing. The elevator has a broken button. This has been this way for several months.

The hotel was fine for a quick weekend stay. They are doing some construction so some areas were closed. The room was nice but the pool area could use some renovations. Our room door was not working properly and you had to slam it to get it to close. If my husband was not there, I don't know if I would have been strong enough to pull it closed from the inside.

This property practically shares a parking lot with Lowe’s. The hotel was very clean. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. I’d stay here again!

Staff was mainly nice, the fresh cookies were great. I love that they had wotd games printed out as well as restaurants and things to do in the area. Breakfast was just ok. However hallway smelled bad. Pool looked dirty, but was told it's cleaned daily. Found blonde strands of hair on the shower wall. Also found several strands of hair in the bed and on the chair in room. I asked front desk for housekeeping to change sheets, but was told they left for the day. She offered to switch my room but it was late and I was exhausted from driving in for a work trip. Then I asked if I could just receive a discount on room price. Was told bc I booked through Expedia nothing she could do but offered rewards points for a membership I don't have. In closing I had to sleep uncomfortable on top of the covers covering up with my swim towel.

First room had a shower that was not working and in the middle of repairs, yet they put us there anyway. Second room had ants, for which they would do nothing. The bathrooms were in various degrees of beat up. The tvs were very complicated to use. The "hot" breakfast was not hot.

There was no water pressure and it took 15 min for water to even get warm for taking a shower. This is not ideal when you need to get moving in the morning.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night because someone was smoking in their room. I paid more than I wanted to for a suite. It wasn't like the suites I am used to. It was a larger room with a couch, microwave, and a small refrigerator. The location was nice and the staff was great.

Room and facilities were excellent except: Couldn't seem to adjust the heater/air conditioner so it wasn't damp. Plenty cool, but so damp our glasses would fog up.

great place for my short business trip. the staff was amazing. the bed was so comfortable. breakfast was perfect. 3rd floor ice machine was broke but the first night one of the staff members ran and got it for me.

Grateful to the staff who showed up on holiday mornings to provide coffee and hot breakfasts!

The property is fine. The maintenance needs to be better. The staff was amazing The room door {room 301) The latch did not work properly and the door would not come as expected. The door did not close all the way when I left and came back. Thankfully no one entered. They had maintenance check the door and they messed with the latch and said the locks are being replaced next year and I needed to push on the latch a few times to get it to close properly. I was visiting with family and came back to find my room door was propped open again after the staff straightened up. The check in system I checked in and everything was fine. That night I was working at the desk and someone opened the door and entered the room. I called down to the desk and they said there was an error and the system put my name in another room and not the one I was assigned. I thought everything was fine and when I came back from getting some food I found that my key did not work. I then had to go down to the desk to get the key assigned to my room again. The next day I was visiting family I came back and my key did not work again. I went down to the desk and they had only set it for the next day and I still had on more night on my reservation. Several things made my trip challenging and the staff did their best to correct the issues. I was told management would reach out to discuss what had happened and that has not happened yet.

All was good! The staff was very friendly-the woman who checked us in, the woman who checked us out and the maintenance man who introduced himself and offered any help needed. Our room was huge, clean and comfortable. We will return on our next trip through the area.
