We had no chancevto access the pool services due to parties being thrown at the pool

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms very accommodating with kitchen, free parking, pool, the fireplace was a plus. Property close to restaurants and stores.

Much newer than the last residence inn we stayed at in buffalo the 2 previous nights, cleaner, newer. I was a bit discouraged when they mentioned a $75 pet fee however, at time of check in, as NOT mentioned on the website, and the only hotel in 8 nights away on vacation that charged me for my 11 pound service dog, so that was the only, large negative

Fantastic property. Excellent breakfast, updated rooms, all the comforts of home plus no additional fee for pets. I will be staying here again.

I loved the comfort of the bed and pillows!!! Disappointed the pool unavailable due to maintenance...but we survived 😁

Upon arrival, found out the pool was drained -strike 1. After checking in, found out disposal didn't work, the sink backed up and water backed up in the dishwasher onto the kitchen floor making it difficult to use the kitchen - strike 2 (they did have it repaired the next day). Maid service never came - strike 3. They were supposed to clean every other day and never showed. Trash piled up not only in my room, but obviously other rooms as people were putting their trash in the hall.

This hotel doesn't deserve the 3 star rating that it somehow aquired. We dealt with pee stains on the pull-out mattress, 2 gigantic roaches, and the pool and hot tub being closed the entire time we stayed, 9 days. We chose this hotel over cheaper options specifically for the pool and hot tub. You would think the manager would be accommodating as these problems occurred under her watch, however there was no accountability or even the smallest attempt to provide a slight discount when we were obligated to pay for an additional night. Terrible experience that wont soon be forgotten

Excellent service, excellent food, the room was beautiful and very quiet, and the firepit area was soooo pretty!

Roaches in my room

Room not clean. Hair all over place from previous folks. Had to throw dinner out as we lost our appetite. Also no restaurant onsite per your website there would be and is one. Not the case

They allowed us an early check in. Which was great. We had booked an event. Once in room we noticed the trash was not emptied. We go to pull out sofa and its broken. Call frint desk to report and get hung up on. I ended up cutting my foot trying to put bed back in so we could at least sit on couch. Ended up killing a roach on the wall.

Clean and looks as advertised

Was very comfortable and clean. Felt just like home.

A bug crawled on my daughter while she was sleeping, so I had to spray the room. There were no towels, and a couple of minor things were broken in the room. The toilet continued to run, which I ended up fixing during our stay.

Clean room, staff were friendly and accommodating. Best weekend getaway for couples as well.

So the first room they assigned us to 203 was filled with roaches. As soon as we walked in, there was roaches coming out of the garbage, disposal and roaches crawling up the wall. We are formed the front desk, and they switched us their own 3OH!3, and I was hesitant because it’s right above 203, but the room was nice, and they were in a roaches. Maybe it was an isolated incident

Nice stay overall for the weekend. Although, the headboard was not clean and there was an old sock left in the room.

There were several issues with the room, the TV did not work, the chair was broken, the screws in the cabinet were missing, no towels in the room or at the front desk, etc...

Booked a King suite with pull out sofa, received a queen bed. No bedding for the pull out bed, had to go get from front desk. Only 2 towels in the room for 3 travelers. Elevator right on other side of room wall, heard that motor run all the time. It was not a pleasant stay.

Stayed one night, Front desk person very friendly. Check-in a breeze. Room was awesome—comfortable and super clean. Breakfast was good. Missed not having pancakes or waffles—a sweet breakfast dish. Otherwise good selection. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel seems remodeled, so its in pretty good condition and clean. The only downside is the mattress wasn't comfortable, Breakfast was terrible since the "supposed" hot food was cold. Not enough towels for the stay.

Suite is great! Bedroom, kitchenette, living room and nic red bathroom.

Quick easy checkin. The room was super with kitchen, full bath, living room. And we were even able to bring our dog.

The toilet in one of the rooms wasn’t flushing properly and when I went to the front desk the attendant suggested I check the chain in the back of the toilet! I am not a plumber! She then said she would bring a plunger and never did! The room looked very nice but the service was poor.

This hotel was double booked and I was sent to another Marriot option which quality was lower than this one. I was never notified about any changes until I came to the actual property. Because the rain was so heavy and it was late, I had to accept but mildly saying, I am not happy with the situation. Please, review the policy. You must communicate with the customer if you don't have the property available. You can just assign them wherever you feel like it.

The hotel was quiet, the rooms were nice and the staff were great.

I give this location and staff a five star reading for the hospitality and service from the front desk to housekeeping were very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was great place was amazing and clean. All of the Staff were very helpful. There was not one staff member that we saw that didn’t greet us. I love that five out of five. I didn’t take no photos, but the place was very well kept.

My business trip on Monday (6/10_25) ended late. I booked through hotels.com as I have several hundred times or more in the past decade. I arrived at the residence Inn Marriott, located in Columbia, SC after working a 16hr day at approximately 11:00 p.m. I expected a quick, smooth check-in as I was totally exhausted. That didn't happen. For the first time ever, I was informed the hotel received my booking ( paid by me through the hotels.com app) but they didn't have my credit card info. This was confusing to me as I use this service often and are a gold member. I waited approximately an hour and received very little technical support form Hotels.com/Expedia.com. support came only through a virual chat. I could not get anyone in customer service to contact me. After a very long wait someone called the hotel and there was no resolution. I got a refund but was told they would not compensate my lost time. I eventually paid the hotel directly after an hour wait. I asked hotels.com/Expedia.com to be contacted by a manager but that didn't happen. I use this booking service so much and no compensation was offered. Im very surprised and disappointed. If the problem is on the Marriott (residential Inn)

Imagine get to the hotel and have to go down to the front desk 3 times before u can get to the room. First time was the key didn’t work went down there they remade the key. Went back up to the room open the door and there is ppl already in the room. I’m like what? Went back down again and they found down they gave me the wrong room. Unbelievable

While the hotel was fairly clean, we had a bad experience. Room wasn't stocked properly and we were asked to go get it from the desk at 11pm after driving for 5 hours with 2 toddlers, our window literally fell open on to the floor without anyone even touching it, outlet next to the bed didnt work, hair dryer was broken, and you could hear trains and ambulances ALL night. Id highly suggest staying somewhere else if youre visiting the area.

The hotel is located in a very nice area and amenities are very good.The desk staff and breakfast staff were helpful and pleasant to work with. Parking lot was full but I was able to find a space each time I left the hotel. The only negative comment I would leave is pillow beds should be standard pillow size and not the decorative square pillows. Those are REALLY uncomfortable and should not be left on the beds for sleeping. I would stay at this location again for sure.

I like this location. You can literally walk to several restaurants and gas stations, even if you’re not a fan of walking, a restaurant is literally next door. The staff is friendly. My room was surprisingly very spacious. I had a nice king sized bed that was very comfortable. I had a walk-in shower and full kitchen with everything you can imagined, including dish detergent, sponges, kitchen cloths, dish washer with pods. I enjoyed breakfast (a southern breakfast!) is very important to me and it’s included. The breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. They had lots of options including grits and oatmeal, different types of juice, eggs, sausages, biscuits, toasts, bagels, etc. Oh, and the desk clerk that checked me in (Chenetta) is nice! The hotel is pet friendly, even if I’m not lol. My only two eyebrow raising complaints would be the straight hair I found in my shower (my hair is curly), and the “unique” smell in my room. It had me smelling the sofa and bed (lol) which weren’t the source of it. My room had a faint smell (room 320) as if someone or something had previously peed somewhere and as if cleaning services tried to clean it, but there still was a hint of an odd lingering odor, but not to the point where I had to switch rooms but I wouldn’t pick that room again even though I would return again.

The facility and room was clean. Lighting in facility and room need to be brighter. Breakfast was average. Area need more restaurants options. Overall rating is a 5 out of 10.

Check-in was a little slow, but staff were very friendly. Room was wonderful - clean, comfortable, all amenities of a small studio apartment. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness only because trash outside the rooms was left overnight and still there in the morning. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and staff, again, were really friendly & attentive. We will definitely stay here again!
