This is a bare bones basic hotel and perfectly located for an overnight pit stop on a long distance road trip. It’s a motel and doesn’t have an elevator to the second floor. The room was clean but the heating unit was loud, functioning nonetheless. We chose not to eat there but there’s a Starbucks and other fast food restaurants minutes away from the property.

This place is excellent for the price. The room was very clean and looked completely renovated. The property was very clean and quiet aside from the rippling sounds of the clear pool. I noticed that someone regularly walks the property to ensure all the vehicles have a pass to ensure everyone there is supposed to be there.Starbucks right next door.

Room was clean and updated. The check in building was unattached to the rooms, and outside was scary. The rooms had outside front doors on the balcony that was disgusting, should be hosed down and cleaned. Scary residents hanging out outside or with their doors open. The stairs were metal and rusty, no elevator. My wife will never go back.

The hotel was on the older end of the scale but the rooms were clean. The AC was quite noisy though. The outdoor pool was unusable as the water was an unpleasant looking green. Needs to be drained, cleaned, refilled and then maintained daily. The staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast was pretty good. Convenient to I81 and Staunton, VA if that is your destination.

It’s good for the price. The area is under a boil water alert, so they gave me bottled water to brush my teeth. I tried to take a bath, but only got 2 inches of hot water before it went cold.

The reception was pleasant. The grounds were basic, just some perimeter weeds to walk the dog. There is only one set of exterior stairs to get to the second floor, and if there’s no parking near them, it’s a bit of a hike with luggage. The rooms look tired, especially the furniture,

Staff is helpful and friendly. Property is not in great condition. My non smoking room smelled like cigarettes. Shower valve was iffy so hot water mix and pressure were poor. Stairs to 2nd floor look like they are rusted and could collapse or detach from the building at any time. It's near a highway/freeway so noise is expected.

All was good until we go to take a shower in the morning and one towel had blood inside it. It looked like someone blew their bloody/buggery nose in it and then neatly folded it and put it back on the towel rack. Grossed us out!

The room fell far short of our expectations for a room costing $100. We found two live wasps and a beetle in our room, there was hair and whiskers in the bathtub, the exhaust fan was filthy, the walls had stains and scrapes everywhere, there was a lot of dust on top of the lamps, and it was just overall very dingy and worn. Stained bedding. Cobwebs in the corners of the room. Tissues seem to be half ply. Clots of hair in the sink drain. There is a SmartTV in the room but no way to use the smart features to watch YouTube or anything like that. I read reviews before booking the room and saw lots of people extolling the cleanliness of the rooms. All I can say is they must live in absolute squalor. Very disappointed and feel cheated.

There were some obvious room updates and the sheets were clean. Breakfast looked good. However the room smelled like mold and we woke up with sinus issues. Carpet was dirty and the chair and curtains had stains and smudges. Staff were very nice and gave us a downstairs room when asked because it's stairs only. Reviews here that note amazing water pressure I question as bots. Maybe the upstairs rooms are better.

The bathroom was noticeably dirty like it had never been cleaned, especially the shower and stains in the toilet. There was rolling paper, like for a cigarette, on the floor between the bed and the night stand. Didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower because of how dirty the bathroom looked.

Room was not clean - stains on sofa , shower had stains, smelled. The door to the room had gaps at the bottom which made me feel unsafe. The area was sketchy and also made me feel unsafe.

Hotel is right off rt 81. It is quiet and well maintained. Our room appeared clean, however; we did see a roach near the kitchenette area. We killed it and went to bed. Too tired to do anything else.

Quality Inn Verona was an exceptional value. Rooms are remodeled, updated, and very clean. I can get wigged out very quickly by a hotel, but I felt very comfortable here. Bedding was nice. Water pressure was fantastic. Front desk was great. Exterior and surrounding property needs some love, but I'd definitely stay here again. The price could not be beat.

Great place to stay on a road trip. I have stayed here multiple times. I didn’t have breakfast this time but it is usually very good. The room was a little musty smell but was ok once a/c was on. Beds are comfortable but the pillows are not. Parking is fine. I will stay here again.

Our stay was amazing. Our house keeper was wonderful every time we need anything she was there right away to tend to what we needed. Breakfast was great. The front dest people were very polite and tended to our needs.

The hotel in a whole was clean the room looked like it had recently been up dated. Very streamed lined with the furnishings beds was pretty comfortable my only draw back were the pillows I don't care for flat pillows so i ended up using 3 but i still slept comfortably. The gentleman that check us in was very pleasant and he had no problem engaging in conversation with us we even got in a few laughs. The breakfast was nice a good variety of options the young lady at the front desk was also taking care of putting out the breakfast items and she did very good at keeping up with what needed to be replenished. We chose the hotel because we were going to the huge antique store that was within a block of the hotel we plan to go again in the summer and will book at this Quality Inn agin.

Everything was fine. Employees nice. The only problem is they do not know the Federal Law for service animals. I was told twice that they were not allowed in the particular area i was in, when in fact service animals are allowed wherever the general public is allowed. They are considered a medical device. They kept referring to my dog as a service pet. They are NOT a pet. Learn the law if you are going to serve the public. I should not have to fight for my rights that are guaranteed under the American with Disabilities Act.

Even though Expedia messed up my reservation and the Quality Inn didn’t have my prepaid reservation, the hotel clerk found me a room and took care of talking to Expedia for me. He was courteous, calm and took care of e road best he could. Great job!

I reserved a non smoking ground floor room.I have disabilities. The first room we were given had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. My husband went to the front desk and was immediately moved to an appropriate room which was clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant throughout our stay and the breakfast food was good and fresh . The only problem was with the accessible shower. The water ran out onto the floor. Maybe a lip on the edge of the shower would help with this . All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

Area is sketchy at night. Area around the hotel is commercial, no outer landscaping or trees. That aside, the room was clean, small but functional. Did not sleep well at all. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows are about 12x12 inches square and hard. Better suited for a couch. Thankfully it was only an overnight stay.

Quality Inn Verona was easy to access from I81. My room seemed to have been recently renovated. It was very clean an accommodating. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast included hot sausage, biscutis and sausage gravy, waffles yogurt and fruit. The motel was cheaper than others in the area so it was a great deal.

The facilities were ok and as expected for the price. But they advertised free breakfast and it was terrible. The “gravy” was watered down and the waffle mix was old and not edible. I would have rather they just offer prepackaged pastry and juice the try to offer a hot breakfast that is questionably safe to eat.

While this is not the fanciest hotel out there, it was good for a fast overnight to drop my son at college. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great and there was shampoo and conditioner installed in dispensers on the wall. The breakfast was surprisingly tasty - cheese eggs and sausage - we had seconds. We got in late, so the parking near our room was completely gone, so that made me very nervous, but the next morning the car was fine. There was a small pool that looked well-maintained. The staff was very friendly with great eye-contact and bright smiles. It is only 25 miinutes from JMU, so if everything in Harrisonburg is sold out, this is not a bad option. There we conwebs over the bed and the bathroom floor was sticky.
