Sleep Inn & Suites Princeton I-77

Usually stay here when traveling south from Ohio. While staff and the rooms are great, the facilities need repair: the elevator wasn’t working so my 80 year old mother had to navigate stairs with her small bag, the washer/dryers were out of order and the vending machines were not stocked well. Some attention to these issues would improve the experience.

Beds were comfortable. Toilet was really low to the ground so hard to get off. Also the elevator was out of service and there was no other elevator to use so had to carry all bags up the stairs.

The staff was very nice, but the hotel elevator is out of order, the beverage machines are broken, and the ice machine is also out of order. The breakfast was terrible, and the milk was expired.

Room was great, clean and comfortable. Pool area was dirty and pool bottom peeling. Outside doors need replaced to make guests feel more safe. 3 out of 5 stars

Elevator inoperable and no internet. Room had a damp smell to it

Elevator was out of service and they had nobody on hand to get our luggage to the third floor. Facility is several years old and had not been updated for decades. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

They do not have a working key card reader at the bac door to go in the building. Anyone can just walk inside through the back. I have been staying here for last 30 years or so but the last years years thete since I

There was no notice that the elevator was out of service. I am handicapped and could not go up 3 flights of stairs to get to the room I wanted. We settled for a room on the second floor. I wanted a refund so I could find another hotel. I was told I could not get a refund since I booked through hotels.com. I won’t use hotels.com again. Will speak to a front desk person and book directly.

The hotel was quiet, had good nearby dining options and the pool felt amazing. Staff was very polite and helpful.

A great value, will be returning to a Sleep Inn again. Very clean, easy to find. The gym mostly had elliptical/cardio equipment, but it was a nice touch none the less. The breakfast was simple but had something for all tastes, though it was lacking protein. It was still a great deal and the employees were all very friendly

Yes. There were cockroaches in room and looked to be like baby food or something on the curtain. The Wi-Fi didn’t even work.

Everything was just as we needed for our stop. The carpets could use a good cleaning and the shower needed some updating. Overall the stay was good for the price! Would stay again.

We were originally assigned room 118 but had to ask to be moved because the heater was stuck on high and felt like we were in the Tropics. Our second room, 120, had someone else’s hair still on the shower wall. Disgusting. We were so thankful we had our own pillows and blankets to use. We tried to touch as little in the room as possible. This location does get 5 stars for Missy, the guest service representative who greeted us. She was so sweet!

The carpet was sticky. I was traveling alone and they put me as far away from the desk as possible. The doors from out side were not locked. The tub was nasty.

Room was ok. Had an odor like a burnt smell. Furniture peeling and air conditioner was struggling to cool room. Breakfast was sad. I didn't even bother. Coffee was good. Room was clean enough.

Staff was polite but the room was dirty. The bathroom is awkward. The carpet was not cleaned and had trash on it. Pictures were falling off the walls. The beds were not comfortable. The only good thing was the room did NOT have any bed bugs - which is something we always worry about when traveling.

On our way home from Florida and this was our stopping point. The room was not very nice at all and it smelled of baby disgusting body odor!

Room was filthy. Trash behind dresser. Carpet dirty. Towel holder and toilet paper holder broken. If we had not been so tired and traveling late we’d gone to another hotel

We’ve been staying here for years, and it’s always a great experience service-wise and it’s a very convenient location. However, this time I felt I had to leave a negative review - and honestly I feel bad doing so because the issues I have are somewhat out of their control. My negative ratings this time are due to the overwhelming musty mildew smell in our room and the stains on the bed skirt. Overall the rooms are always clean but the smell and feeling of dampness really impacted me this time around. The staff are always pleasant, breakfast is ready in the mornings and we’ve never had an actual customer service issue here in about four years.

We came for a wedding from Alabama. Reasonably prices. Not too shabby. We travel a few times a year and they by far the best beds. Super comfy and the sheets were so soft. Highly recommend.

Room was very small. It fit our purposes as a pit stop but I wouldn't stay there for multiple nights.

Inside has been updated since 6 years, and is being kept clean. Good access to rooms easy, room itself is in good condition with clean sheets on beds. Bathroom clean, and with roomy walk-in shower. Outside could be a bit cleaner, it was kind of a put off at first. Area is excellent for eating places, shopping, etc. Very convenient off I77 onto 460W in Princeton, WVA.

Hotel is dated and badly in need of a refresh. Mattresses are horrible.

One of our beds almost flipped over because it isn't attached to the ground. The WiFi was out, the elevator was out of order. Room was small. Really shouldn't have cost this much.

This hotel was good! The only issue is that if youre staying on the 1st or 2nd floor, you can hear people walking around on the floor above you. We were on the 1st floor & there was a family with littles who were very active until well after 1:00 am. We could very plainly hear them running around so therefore, it was hard to fall asleep. Breakfast wasn't great. But, hotel was clean & no other issues!

Staff was very helpful going abive & beyond to assist in every way. Checked in with 2 small children exhausted from long & unexpected road trip, attendant privided pack n play and even gave some milk and helped carry it all up. In the a.m I needed an android charger fir daughters Ipad & was guven a loaner. & for tge kicker the laundry app would not accept my cc card and a few ladies pulled together the change going the extra mile to be sure I could wash things up despite. I mean I Couldn't have asked for a better experience & all with an awesome rate!! Thank you & Gid bless you all for your hospitality & SERVICE! You are so appreciated 🙏🙌

We arrived at the hotel and the clerk was outside with her 2 young children who ran around yelling throughout the check in process. Mind you she was yelling back! After the check in was completed we were informed that we would be on the second floor but the elevator didn’t work due to being struck by lightning. We walked through the dark stuffy hallway and entered our “non smoking” room to find out that it reaped of cigarettes. There was no remote control so I turned on the tv by hand, to find out that the channels didn’t change and the volume buttons were broken. The refrigerator didn’t work and it there was a nasty noticeable stain on one of the beds and while checking under the sheets I noticed a half eaten rice crispy treat behind the night stand. At this point we’d had enough. I picked up the phone to call front desk to find that the phone had a dial tone but no matter how many times I hit the 0 it never called down stairs. I WALKED back down stairs and the next shift clerk who had dirty fingernails and a large spaghetti stain on her shirt, was NOT happy to see me. I immediately requested a refund but was asked in a nasty tone what exactly was wrong with the room. After giving her a brief rundown I was then was offered and respectfully declined a different room. After then demanding my refund the clerk put the cash amount on the counter even though I paid with debit card. I grabbed my belongings as fast as I could and ran. Needless to say I will NEVER return!

Staff was super friendly and made check in a breeze!. Property was fine. Just needed a place to sleep while traveling. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Would stay here again while traveling.

Kameron was awesome! She got us checked in early which was such a relief given our reason for travel. Room was clean and neat. Glad I booked here.

We liked that this hotel was near several restaurants and gas stations. It was clean, the air conditioner worked well, the shower worked well and it was quiet. We had a restful night there.

Quiet even being located near interstate. Many dining options very close by.

While the area doesn't have sidewalks, the property is within walking distance to several restaurants, EV chargers, and gas stations.

Safe area. Lots of food options. Spacious parking lot. Comfortable beds. Breakfast starts at 6am.

Hotel was convenient from I77. We usually stay in Beckley on our way to Erie, Pa and have found them less than desirable. We were pleasantly surprised with this facility. The desk person was friendly and we found the room clean and quiet. We plan on making this our stop in the future.

NO HOT breakfast....and waffles does not cut it. Eggs, bacon and sausage are a must if you want to compete with the surrounding hotels.

Most of the pop machines were sold out or out of order. Ice machine nearest our room was out of order too. The breakfast was hardly that. No meats, eggs, or fruit. Cramped eating space meant people had to try and take their breakfast back to their room instead of being able to eat it there.
