Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and we were provided with fresh towels daily. The building itself was in need of a little TLC. There was a hole in the wall in our bathroom and the bottom of the pool was in need of repair. Portions of the plaster were breaking away, creating very sharp spots we had to avoid while swimming.

This property was very well kept and the staff was very friendly. Nice front country porch for rocking as large breakfast.

The beds were not comfortable. They were either sunken in the middle or rock hard. The pool was way over chlorinated to where your eyes burned when you walked in the pool area. The staff was 10/10. The breakfast had a great variety. The rooms were a tad dirty but nothing terrible.

Great place. Clean and lovely amenities. Lots of dining options nearby. Plenty of parking. Nice little gym and pool.

Everything was as expected. The room was very nice. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was too much chlorine in the pool. It made our eyes burn.

Wonderful property would definitely stay again if back in the area. Only thing i could say negative would be the limited parking. Also warn your guest not to eat at shoney's, i ended up with food poisoning.

Beautiful Hotel, we enjoyed the free breakfast and free parking. The staff was very friendly. The pool steps in the deep end were broke and the pool could use a new paint job. Other then that we enjoyed our stay.

When there residue of a previous guest in the tub, you know it was not cleaned properly. What else was not cleaned? Towels, sheets... Will not be back.

Interior was really out of date. Needed to be updated. Smell to the bedding and rooms. Musty smell in the building. Looks nice on the outside but stuck in the 90’s on the inside. Limited plugs and no USB ports. Breakfast wasn’t great with the milk being sour. Chef didn’t know about food allergies which was worrying for someone with a severe allergy. Would recommend looking elsewhere.

We’ve been stopping here for several years for our overnight on the way home from the OBX. Our room this year smelled musty. The bathroom needs remodeled.

The room had a terrible odor. The shower area had mold along with the shower curtaim

Old the hallway and rooms smell. Cracked tiles. The bathtub mat was pilling up and was so gross underneath.

Bathroom door had dirty hand marks all over it. The tub had standing water with what looked like rust particles in it. Almost all of the complimentary soaps were opened or had the seals broken. Breakfast was okay. Lots of stuff needed to be restocked.

Our visit here was only one night as it was a half way stopping point for our travels. I chose this place based off reviews I read and was very happy I did. The place is very clean, convenient and pet friendly. Rooms are good size (we had 3 adults and a dog) for the cost. Overall I was very pleased with this hotel. The continental breakfast was very good and I was surprised at the various options. There were both hot and cold items. The complimentary snacks given are very thoughtful of the hotel. All the staff was friendly and very professional. I would definitely stay again on our travels when we go that route.

The bathroom was disgusting. The tub was stained and there was a spot on the edge of the tub that was missing its coating. Missing grout in floor tiles and missing drywall in corner.

I stayed at this hotel back in November 2022 and then again this past weekend (Memorial Day 2023). The difference between then and now is like night and day. This place is very run down and not clean at all. Will not be staying here again!!

The hotel seemed dated but was clean. It took two rings of a provided bell to for the clerk to appear to check us in. The tv and it’s offerings were basic. But other than that, all was well.

Stopped in after long day of driving. Average hotel, dated, thin walls. Decent mattress, small, thin pillows. Nice breakfast and pleasant customer service. Not worth what we paid, $200, but satisfactory for one night.

This is our second time staying at this hotel, as we have to visit Princeton every other month or so. Last time was better. While we heard doors slamming, I thought it was bc we were right next to the stairs. This time we weren’t, but we still heard doors slamming. Someone’s dog running around above us. Our next door neighbors talking and laughing at 1am. So I think there just isn’t soundproofing. There had been a leak (I’m assuming) and the ceiling was either patched badly or it was still slowly leaking and causing issues. There was no drain plug in the bathtub, so my kid couldn’t take a bath. I didn’t call for that, just told him to take a shower instead. The biggest disappointment was the pool. Last time there were multiple people in the pool and the kids had fun. This time, I was wondering why it was dark and empty. Well, simply opening the door caused a wave of chlorine potential enough to make us cough and our eyes red - without even entering into the room. I would not let us enter. When I mentioned it to the front desk, he said it was normal. It’s not. The breakfast is good for hotel - sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, and pastries. The attendant was very good- sweeping, refilling, etc. Is this a bad hotel? No. But if you’re a light sleeper or have kids who want to play in the pool there are plenty others in the area.

One night stay driving home from a month in Florida with our dog. Location is convenient right off 77 with a few restaurants nearby. Hotel offered a map and list of dining options - both fast food and sit down restaurants. Hotel room could use updating - floor, curtains, etc. Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect in room, but if you connected in lobby it worked. Additional charge for dog was higher than other hotels we stayed in at $40. Construction next to the hotel (possibly another hotel) limited the area to walk the dog. Breakfast offered a good variety, hot and cold choices.

The room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Could use a little touch up on painting. More lighting is needed in the room and the mattresses are worn and need replacing. I was sleeping in a dip on both beds.

The property looked like it showed in the pictures. The staff was friendly. There were elevators and we were provided help with a cart to get our luggage up to our room. The room was clean and spacious and we had a nice view of the mountains. The two downsides were the furniture was worn, damaged some and my husband had to set up our television before we could watch anything. Overall a positive experience.

We waited over 20 minutes for the hotel clerk to come to the front counter so we could check in.

While the staff went above and beyond and were friendly, they tend to not answer the phones after midnight or during the day for that matter. You have to physically go to the desk to get anything taken care of. This property was amazing 3 years ago, and now, not so much.

Traveling with two teenagers and needed to stop for an overnight. Found this hotel online and booked minutes before arrival. Noah at the front desk was wonderful! Welcoming and friendly, very quick and seamless check-in. We reserved the last available room with two queen beds and he upgraded us to a larger room because the last room was above the air conditioners and books be loud and he wanted to ensure our comfort. We truly appreciated the gesture and were grateful! The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were excellent. The lobby was clean and spacious. The free hot breakfast was good- the usual options for hot breakfast, including a waffle maker. Highly recommend this hotel!

Had to find staff to check in for an older gentleman and myself. No one was coming after ringing the bell. Had to go to the entrance and call for someone to yo gge front to check us in. The tub has serious rust stains

Staff shortage situation had at least 15 people lined up waiting to check in. This was 6:30 p.m. (when rooms we’re supposed to be ready at 3:00pm) . The clerk ran the credit through before informing us that there were no clean rooms available & we could wait along with many others. We finally got in our room at 8:30p.m. The 4 th floor accommodation (Rm 405) was strangely vibrating possibly from mechanics under the entire floor. Disorienting and a little dizzying even in the hallways. Did not stop until late in night around 11:30 p.m.

Stayed the night to take the kids tubing the next morning. Enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Hotel was easy to find off I77 and convenient to ski resort

We stayed one night in a king room while on a driving trip. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast (and cookies!) are a huge benefit. The clerks at check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located about a quarter mile from restaurants, gas stations, etc; an easy drive, but not really walkable.

Always friendly staff, nice rooms and breakfast. Have stayed twice at this location. If you are facing the interstates, there is traffic noise. Currently there is something being built directly in front of this motel. So there is construction. Great value for the cost in comparison to other motels in the area.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean, plenty of towels for use. Breakfast had lots of options, and the kids loved the indoor pool of course! Perfect place for us to stay while on a skiing trip to Winterplace (about 30 mins away). Especially great because of all the restaurant options available on the same exit, and also the Walmart for shopping.

The hotel was right off 77 with large rooms and traditional decor. We were traveling home with the cat and found it met our needs. Variety of dining options and a good breakfast in the hotel.

I've stayed there several years for a yearly family reunion. Always accommodating. Couldn't ask for a better breakfast. I would like an additional chair in the room.

Excellent hotel, clean, great breakfast, and wonderful staff.

Room was nice and clean and comfortable. The parking was good as well. The breakfast area is tight when crowded but the food was excellent.

Check in was easy. Gentleman at front was very polite. Offered us water and gave us 2 bottles in a cute little bag. Room was great! Mattresses could atand to be replaced but still wasnt bad. The heat worked amazingly and was rather quiet. Breakfast was over the top wow! Scrambled wggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereals, oatmeal, waffles, fresh fruits, bacon, several juice choices and white and chocolate milk. I had $31 in credit feom previous bookings making this reasonably priced for my stay. We thoight we were going to get snowed in and I already was hoping to return to this hotel if we had to stay in the area another night.

The property was well maintained, quiet and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They offer a full breakfast with many options. I will stay here again when I visit the area.
