Courtyard Marriott Lake Placid

Room was clean but we were short on towels, toilet paper and coffee supplies. Seems like we were constantly asking for something at the front desk and we were only there 2 days. Our mean issue was with the pool, both hot tubs were empty and out of order. The pool was down at least a foot of water and was not circulating, even though they said it was open no one ever used it. Location was nice and quiet but lawn wasn't mowed and chairs in the courtyard were quite old and unstable.

Just a quick overnight to get away. Great place, check in was wonderful. Room smelled a bit musty but aired out when we cracked the windows. Bar was closed in the evening as the bartender was on vacation so we shared our own bottle of wine and they helped us get a cork screw and glasses. we hung in the lobby which was very cozy.

Just out of the way enough to be quite

The hotel was nice, but definitely needs some “love.” The outside is in desperate need of paint, some of the outlets in our room were very loose and the menu is just so-so at the restaurant. The woman running the restaurant was AMAZING and so kind.

Both hot tubs were out of order, and you could tell that they had been. This was not listed on the website, and we were not told until we check-in it. When I asked how long, the staff said for a few months. She said Marriott was working on it. You could tell that no one work wasing on it. This is always a selling point for us, very disappointing. There was not ice machine on the 4th floor and some of the gym equipment was broken.
