We stayed for one night. As we arrived late and left early, didn't really utilize many of the hotel facilities but the property was generally fine. The registration desk was undergoing a major renovation and we initially had some difficulty finding out where to go. Signage for the the temporary registration could have been more prominent.

Pool was gorgeous and all the amenities were always well kept and tidy. Super helpful staff all around. Really close to where I was visiting in La Jolla village so plenty of food and shopping options that are walkable.

Loved to landscaping, pool area, hot tub, and lounges on the patio. Had a good gym and water available. Was right across a strip mall with Whole Foods & good restaurants. Location is excellent!!

Enjoyed our stay. Room seemed clean but in bathroom found two wormlike bugs that may have been very small centipedes. I removed and flushed them down the toliet. Next day found two more which were shown to the front desk. They said they’d exterminate and were appropriately concerned. TV has limited options. I was hoping for streaming but only option for kids cost over $20. Didn’t really need it anyway, but will make a difference for future bookings.

LOVED the pool and courtyard. Parking was ridiculously expensive--could park at the airport for less! Room was nice and well-appointed. Housekeeping was good, but apparently need more help. Several days it was after 4 when the room finally got cleaned, and one day closer to 5! There should be a small freezer at the desk for guests traveling with medicines and/or icepacks that need to be kept frozen. Restaurant was good. Very beautiful property!

I usually hate staying in hotels, but I’ve had good experiences with Sheraton Hotels in the past, so thought I’d try my hand at it again: This was the cleanest room I’ve stayed in, considering how hard it is to keep them clean, I was amazed. The natural wood shutters were a good touch, and the view overlooked the well maintained courtyard/garden with plenty of palm trees, plenty of accent lighting at night, nothing obnoxious tho, we were able to keep the shutters open all night. Even with the AC blasting it was still a little warm in the room tho. The pool was also very clean, my girlfriend and I kindof got forced out because of a lot of kids our first day, but they were having fun so wasn’t a big deal. But the morning swim was peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. And for the height of summer to be able to get a room; the prices weren’t outrageous.

Conveniently located to areas of our interest and the pool was nice. The room ac locked at 68 was annoying as we like to sleep cooler and the air blowing out of it smelled damp and musty. The room was only cleaned twice during our 4 day and I had to ask the staff in the hallways for new towels.

Friednly and helpful staff. Could not accomodate check in at 2:30pm when our check in was at 3pm which we were.told was not guaranteed. But were able to check in at 3 simce we stayed in lobby and asked if room was ready at 3pm. Room had a pink wash cloth ledt on the sofa chair, hair in bathroom and ceackers on floor in bathroom. Not too clean

It was a great property for the price we paid for it. So good value for money. However, we got two rooms, both facing the entry way and on first level. At no point we could open the blinds. It was also the most used area after the lobby, and was noisy at night. They couldn’t offer us other rooms that were more inward facing. Otherwise the property is decent, with a good pool.

It felt like I was on a tropical vacation. Loved the friendly staff who let me hang out at the pool while I waited for my room to be ready. My only drawback was that my room was right next to the door leading out of the hotel and starting at about 5:30 in the morning every 30 seconds there was someone slamming the door and leaving the hotel and it was very Very annoying

Convenient location near UCSD and the freeway, with lots of food nearby. But rooms in our building had a noisy fan by the window, motel-style, which could not be turned off, and the bed and pillows were hot and lumpy. Noise from the parking lot also. You’ll definitely need your earplugs!

Had a nice stay here recently! Our room was cozy and clean, though we found the lighting in the room to be oddly bright with no way to adjust it. Staff were friendly and courteous. Location was great for driving down to San Diego and for a quick trip to La Jolla Shores for a beach day. Would definitely stay here again!

Average hotel in good location. Close to restaurants and shops. Clean. We did not have a good experience staying in a room in Building A, adjacent to parking lot. Trash collection was loud every morning and came to pick up trash at 6am. Too much noise and disrupted sleep.

I’ve stayed here several times and each time they’ve given me a room facing their parking lot. It’s an ugly view and makes it feel like you’re staying in a cheap motel. Not only that, but everyone walking in the parking lot can see right into your room if you have the blinds open. Not sure if I’ll be booking here again. It could also be that if you book through Hotels.com then they’ll give you their ugliest rooms facing the parking lot. The property itself is nice and well maintained.

The lady that checked me in was rude and when I asked for clarification on where my room was located as the layout is confusing she threw the map at me. When I looked at the map and still asked for clarification, she began aggressively pointing at the map. The WiFi they provide worked maybe 15 minutes out of the 6 days that my family was there and that wasn’t 15 minutes at once; that’s in totality. They have access to a better WiFi but request you pay $11.99 each day for it. One of the nights the power was out and when asked about a back up generator as this has usually been a standard at the hotels that are contracted with hospitals (they are contracted with UC San Diego) they said they only use a generator for their lobby. As this is extremely concerning when there are patient from the hospital that stay here and are 100% reliant on medical devices that require power. Their tvs are not smart TVs so you can not log into your accounts such as Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube TV, etc. Our housekeepers were so nice and sweet. The gal working the front desk upon our departure was so kind.

Great hotel across the street from UCSD, nice rooms, great pool area and garden that remind me of Hawaii. Staff were great, especially Daniel at the front desk who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and efficient like an old style concierge that all hotels use to have, really appreciated the hospitality!

We arrived 2 hours after check in and were told our room wasn’t ready. We did not get into our room for another 45 minutes after we arrived. By then it was basically 6:00pm. The hallway and later the room reeked of cigarette smoke (from a guest just outside the hallway door who just left a burning cigarette in the ashtray and walked away) that wafted in from just outside the door. Property should move smoking sections away from where smoke just can come right inside. It was in general a very average to below average experience. It was close to UCSD, which is why we booked it. Would not stay again and would not recommend.

Their system wasn't working so they claimed I hadn't paid after I produced 2 different receipt and credit card statement. They proceed to try to charge another of my company cards without asking and I had to pay them again when checking out - and let me controller deal with it. Terrible service in general - 25min to get seated for breakfast, even though only 4 tables where occupied. Hotel is outdated looks more like a motel, staff is terrible and I would recommend everyone to stay away. Btw I spend at least 100 nights a year in hotels and until this time I have never wrote a bad review - but this was just horrible. Please stay far away from this Sheraton property it's not even close to worth the money

We had a really terrible check in experience! My parents are a bit older and we were hoping to check in around 3PM. They made us wait until almost 6PM to check in. we did see Other people check in and receive their rooms. It was quite disapponting.

This is the third time I have stayed at this property. I am pleased to report it still just as clean and well-kept as it was the first time I stayed here, which was 10 years ago. The staff are friendly and professional, and the convenience of the location just can’t be matched. It is easily walkable to lots of dining, entertainment, and shopping.

Check-In was quick and efficient, and Staff are very friendly., Our room had ample spacing with two queen beds for 2 adults and 1 teenager. Amenities included mini fridge, microwave with in room coffee maker. The facility is a short walk to the U.C. San Diego University campus, and shopping.

Did not like being nickel and dimed to death. One internet free and second charged,. Parking extra and water for each little bottle to make coffee in the room. Prepaid too much for breakfast with only 4 choices allowed and then mandatory twenty percent For service and then tax and there was still a place for a second tip….REALLY ! I also got charged a room tax when all fees were to be included in the Expedia rate….

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check in stated to be at 3pm however it was not ready until about 4:30pm. They offered free parking while we waited. Our stay included breakfast, however when I ordered it to be delivered for room service, was told I could use the voucher. Looks like the person who assisted just didn’t know how the voucher breakfast worked. Also they lost my order and had to reorder about an hour later. Staff was very nice and included free beverages.

Close to a Whole Foods which is why I repeatedly choose this hotel. It’s cheaper for me to eat at WF than a restaurant for every meal. But this hotel has a good restaurant. Just expensive. Worth it but I can’t afford it for every meal. And I like the Koi pond. Comfy bed, spacious room. Also close to the light rail Blue Line station, very convenient.

i really had an amazing time in here with my family. i loved the room. we didn’t have hot water and as soon as we told the staff they came and help us. the pool area is amazing and so pretty with the trees. the restaurant was conveniently and really good. you can also walk to whole foods and some fast food
