The Westin Annapolis

Great place. There was a shuttle to the Annapolis Boat Show which was super convenient and could be used if you didnt want to walk a mile or so.

Everyone there was accommodating, the hotel and pool were clean and the valet service was extremely helpful and patient.

This is an amazing location in Annapolis. Very clean and always good and friendly service! Pet fee is a little high but worth it. Bar in lobby is always fun and available for a beverage or snack! We used to live a block away and always stay here when we come in to town. Also has a nice gym, indoor pool and Jet spa!

The property is basically nonfunctional with construction. One elevator, no lobby, understaffed. Poor access to the building makes food deliveries problematic. Rooms clean and nice.

the parking lot is $35/day, that stinks ! there should be an option besides valet or municipal self parking. i'm sure the hotel managers feel the same way..

First the good. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful with the parking which needs to be set up with a credit card and scanning a barcode. The parking in not included or owned by the hotel. Over $30 for the day. The room is on the small side and has only 2 chairs for sitting. We ended up with a handicap room and the shower is open so water goes all over the place. For some reason we didn't get any bath towels. We had to ask the housekeeper for them. The restaurant had tasty food and our waiter was nice but the service was on the slow side.

did NOT like having to pay for wifi. it's free with so many other establishments. why not yours? valet parking staff excellent but $39 a day?

Hotel was under construction. No bar/lounge. Asked for a wine opener for wine in my room and was told there was only ONE wine opener in the whole hotel and I would need to go down and have someone open it Not thrilled.

Excellent shuttle service avail. to downtown. Nice perk.

I would have given it an overall excellent review except for the construction. Room was comfy and clean.

My stay at the Westin in Annapolis was amazing. The staff was helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. I will definitely visit them again in the future.

Staff was welcoming, rooms were extremely clean. WiFi did not work or it was difficult to access.

The gym floor was not clean. The hot tube also needed to be cleaned. There were not a lot of options for restaurant in walking distance. .I had a small charge on my account that wasn't mines. It was only $12.00 dollars, I was in a rush, so I didn't make a big deal about it, but it wasn't my charge.

Pillows were very thick for sleeping but good for sitting up to watch tv. So those with neck issues, I recommend bringing your own pillow. Bed was very comfy. Room and bathroom was very clean. Free shuttle was perfect for a hot day to get down to the port and shopping. Internet was not great and only included basic plus fee, however you could watch YouTube and Netflix etc on the tv. My cell reception was terrible in the lobby and not the best in the room. In room products smelled great and the conditioner was good for dry hair. The staff at the lobby bar were wonderful.

The Hotel was very clean and convenient to everything that we wanted to do!!!!

The rooms are in need of real housekeeping. The furniture is getting worn. Also, housekeeping is not the best. The service and food is slow and cold. Manager that I complained to, was not professional. Expected better from A Westin.

I enjoyed the updated lobby and the USBC chargers built in the room was very nice. Room was very humid. I also had to tell the front desk about the toilet paper dispenser falling off the wall, they attempted once, but I had to request a second time for it to be fixed due to the toilet paper going on the floor. All in all, it was a good hotel. I would absolutely recommend.

Very nice hotel. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Great service, very clean, good location. We used the parking garage, shuttle and uber easily, as well as walked to academy events and the waterfront. Staff is accomdating and excellent. We will stay here again.

Our stay was exceptional. Clean rooms and the up to date environment was a plus. Stay was friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival for a 2 night stay we found that there was NO HOT WATER in the bathroom sink. This was reported and we got no response. This happened twice. Apparently a repairman came to our room twice but left no report for us. We informed the manager who sent up a repairman, still got no response and still NO HOT WATER. On the 2nd night around 8pm they offered to change our room, but we declined this since we were checking out in the morning. We were charged for 1 night instead of the 2 we were there, but never had hot water. The restaurant was drastically understaffed during the dinner hour, but the food was ok.

Absolutely horrible problems. This was our 2nd time staying, the first time a couple years back and I've never seen such continued gross incompetence. So giving it a 2nd shot we book 2 nights. In the middle of the night I cant sleep & go to use the bathroom, i sit and the water in the toilet bowl is literally steaming! I flushed a couple times to no luck, waited & tried again, my butt was literally sweating sitting on it & the steam rising from the bowl smelled BAD, i mean its steam from a toilet. I promptly call down & they said theyll have someone look at it first thing in the am. Ok, so then I go to take a shower to help me sleep and water is SCOLDING hot, will not get cold, we even let it run. Again, this is the middle of the night so I'm wiped & finally just give up. So I go to wash my hands in the sink and THAT water is also only scolding hot. I've had it & just go back to bed but not before needing to get BOTTLED WATER downstair in order to brush my teeth, yes for real. Next morning, maintenance comes up & water is suddenly warm after it runs for a bit & the toilet flushes, interesting. He says it happens at times of high use or if the valve isnt properly turned. But ok, problem fixed right? Nope. Next night same thing, i call down & finally they switch our room. Worst part of all is they not only mistakenly charge us THREE nights rather than the 2 booked but they refuse to refund the fees for the original nights booked after everything. Manager Rodney is terrible.

It’s fine. The rooms are hot with no REAL control over the thermostat. It was almost enough to leave a one star. It’s certainly not worth the extra cost over other hotels in the area. Everything is basic and what you’d expect from an average hotel.

I liked the clean and comfortable rooms and the shuttle that was available to go to downtown. I also enjoyed the hotel food and the room service. There was a door that was connecting my room with another room and I could hear the persons arguing, going to the bathroom, taking a shower, etc. I hardly slept that night, but I thought the hotel was excellent otherwise.

Loved it. Only complaint is the room we stayed in had a fire or Carbon Monoxide alarm that had a green light the was painfully bright at night. It was sleep disruptive.

Front staff very unaccommodating. Could not get early check in. Requested king room got handicap double room! I was told that because i ordered through Expedia they wouldn't guarantee my room…what? I just traveled Europe through Expedia and was Never treated this way. The bar tenders sucked! The food disgusting. worked for Westin Hotels for 15 years and this is not a Westin hotel. Marriott you should be ashamed to treat customers this way. If you don't like a 3rd party selling your rooms don’t let them do it. It should not be taken out on the customer.

The Westin Annapolis was the worst experience I have had in many, many years of traveling around the world. These guys should do anything else but be the hospitality business. I will keep it short: I had booked that place a couple of months ago because it was close to the Navy stadium where I wanted to attend a soccer game with my son. A day before my check-in, I received a message from the Westin giving me all the latest information on how to check in etc. When I arrived there, an incredibly dishonest employee told me there was no room for me because apparently I had canceled it, which quickly turned out to be a lie. Then, she claimed, with the help of her supervisor, that there had been a glitch in their system, which also turned out to be a lie. The reason was in front of our eyes. FC Barcelona had just made a huge reservation and my son and I were deemed to be worthless. She basically told me they had no room for us despite a valid reservation made months in advance. She told us to look for another hotel and that was it...The rest of the story is not interesting for the sake of this review. But this humiliating and frankly stupid experience left quite a bitter aftertaste.

The property and staff were great. My problem was unexplained charges on my card that I now have to wait five business days to ensure are returned. My original bill was $971, and now their staying that they are holding chargers. I was told that they hold roughly half of your bill. We’ll see but I think I may pass on this hotel next time

Very nice one night stay! The hotel was convenient, comfortable and clean. There was a convention going on, so I did have to wait quite a while to check in, but the staff was friendly and worked as quickly as they could. I would definitely stay here again!

If you are not a Marriott Member they charge you for Wifi service $10.95. We could not get phone or internet service i called the front desk because WiFi info was not in the room. After an hour of the front desk picking up and puttitng me on hold i went down to the front desk to find the agent surfing on their phone. I asked about the Wifi and was handed a piece of paper with Wifi info and was not informed there would be a fee. I am a Marriott member so they removed the charge when i checked out and questioned the cost. They do not offer complimentary daily coffee only on the weekend is that available this is the Westin WT? Our room did not have a refrigerator or microwave we called front desk and they brought one each. We were informed the hotel is converting to add these basics to each room really. The room was clean and nice but it is stuff like this that cuases issues and makes you want to stay some where else.

Had a great stay here. The staff was great. The only issue I had was trying to reach someone via the phone for room service. They were a bit busy so I had to go downstairs to give them my food order. Other than that, there were no issues and the stay was amazing. I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly...everyone from the front desk to the valet attendants to the housekeepers!

Came to Annapolis for a concert at Rams Head on Stage, which was an easy 5-minute walk through a beautiful arts district. The Westin was one of the nicest places I've stayed, with an exceptionally helpful staff.

This is a very nice hotel. It was my second time staying here, and I wanted to visit again to spend more time sightseeing in the Annapolis area. The hotel is conveniently located in Historic Downtown Annapolis. The room was nice and clean. We received room service every day, which we were not expecting. Our only complaint is that the AC did not seem to work well all the time, and the system itself made noise occasionally. The hotel had great amenities, including valet service. We didn't spend much time in the hotel other than our room. I do recommend this hotel, and I would stay there again.

Great property located just outside the hustle and bustle of the historic Annapolis district. I liked that we could easily walk to the vibrant downtown area but go back to a quieter area in the evenings. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean. The only issue we had was with self-parking - they had just implemented a new self-pay option, but after paying for 2 days we were informed that there were no in and out privileges and that it would be more expensive than valet parking. The hotel did comp our parking because of the confusion with the new system.

Great location in Annapolis. Far enough from the busy streets to be quiet and close enough to walk to everything.

Within walking distance of waterfront. Lots of food options available.

Room was nice and staff friendly. Having the complimentary water and coffee (in the morning) in the lobby was nice. Was easy to walk downtown and to USNA. Would stay here again.

What a wonderful experience! Friendly staff…beautiful lobby…and that bed…I could have slept in it for days! The only downfall was the food at Azure. It was disappointing…flavorless…and served lukewarm. I do not recommend. Luckily, there are plenty of dining options around. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Annapolis!

Upscale downtown Annapolis business hotel. Sleek, modern, clean and comfortable. Will be 5 star, but dining and bar are under renovation right now. (Didn’t see that posted anywhere in the listing). Maybe I missed it.

Don’t know what the story is about the hotel’s restaurant. You can get room service, but there is no sit down restaurant.

Everything was fine except the restaurant, it took a lot of time to get seated because no one was attending the front desk, then the waitress took an hour to bring our food out and then we had to leave because she never brought our food out.

The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant staff made it even better. Al greeted us with a warm smile everyday and the staff were very attentive, making sure our meals and experience was just right.

Hotel facilities were great. Excellent room, good gym. The only negative was the restaurant in the hotel next day. We tried to get lunch and it took nearly two hours to get salads. We would’ve left if we didn’t have a work function we had to get to. And when we got the food, it was clear it wasn’t fresh. I always expect a higher level from a Westin
