The Westin Annapolis

The bar staff and cleaning staff were very kind. The front desk attendants seemed to be unhappy, though I did have one attendant in particular who was very helpful. The hotel rooms themselves were not as nice as most Westins. They were akin to a Hampton Inn which- for the price per night- seems rather absurd. The valet staff were great and timely as well. Overall a good stay and the location is nice. For the price though, I’d prefer to stay by the water next time.

The staff is attentive and the hotel is clean and modern.

Great location. Shower was challenging. Water was everywhere. We had to use the bath towels to clean up the water.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Premium Price! I paid a premium rate for my stay at the Best Western Annapolis, expecting a higher level of quality and service. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short. Upon check-in, the front desk staff gave me a hard time about the breakfast for two that I had clearly prepaid through Hotels.com. It was listed on both my confirmation email and receipt, but it didn’t show in their system. They made me wait up to 30 minutes and insisted I email the hotel group a copy of my receipt before finally issuing a breakfast voucher once I returned to my room. The room itself was basic at best. The lighting was poor, the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, there were no napkins in the basket, and the shower had no shampoo, conditioner, or bath soap. Overall, it felt like a standard budget stay rather than the upgraded experience I anticipated for the price. Service and attention to detail were lacking throughout. I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a true premium or comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were so clean and the sheets smelled amazing. We will definitely stay there again if we are in Annapolis
