This hotel really made our week in Istanbul special. The facilities are great - clean, nice hammam, excellent breakfast, good lounge area - but above all it's the staff that make the place so great. They are always friendly, helpful and welcoming without being overbearing. The hotel manager, Okay Alkan, organises tours several times a week. These show you parts of Istanbul away from the obvious tourist sites and are absolutely free (the hotel even pay the tram fares!). Okay is really friendly, knowledgeable and keen to share the culture of his city with visitors. These tours were real highlights of our stay. We had a huge, comfortable bed and a view towards Gulhane Park and Topkapi Palace (in a standard room). The kettle was a bonus for us Brits too! The street the hotel is on is quiet with very little traffic, but it's an easy walk to all the main sites and about 100 yards from a tram stop so the location could not be better. If (hopefully when!) we return to Istanbul we won't even consider staying anywhere else.

Great location, very walkable with easy access to public transport. Park very nearby and was great for our small child to play in. Breakfast was wonderful, pool/spa was so nice to relax in after a long hot day, and the staff was very accomodating and excellent. They provided gluten free bread for us for breakfast, which was wonderful!

Fantastic location and very friendly staff in a charming hotel with good breakfasts, a small pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Perfectly located for exploring the old town on foot (including the Ottoman Emperor's palace, Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar) but easy to nip over the Galata bridge by taxi or tram for nice restaurants (Gallada is amazing but expensive and Ali Ocakbasi is great but hidden). We had a brilliant time here.

The Sirkeci mansion is a lovely boutique hotel conveniently placed to the Topkapi and other attractions. There is tramline up the road, the restaurants and shopping are right on the doorstop The hotel itself is very clean and rooms were very comfortable with everything you need ie clean bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities water is available and there is a safe. The staff are amazing from reception to housekeeping nothing was too much trouble for them. There is afternoon tea and snacks from 3-5 everyday, the Turkish bath and gamma was very good. Outside the hotel the people are the most humbliest from shop keepers to restaurant staff Overall our stay at this hotel was really lovely and would definitely go back

C'est en fait un hôtel de catégorie 3 étoiles. Les chambres ne sont pas très spacieuses (2303) ni belles. Mais sinon, c'est l'hôtel le plus impeccable, propre et bien entretenu que j'ai vu depuis bien longtemps. Le personnel est très agréable et sympathique. Le petit déjeuner simple et très bon. L'emplacement est parfait, à quelques minutes de Topkapi ou la Citerne Basilique... Bravo à l'équipe. Je recommande.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Sirkeci Mansion hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the area, it was easy to walk to everything in the old town. Everything was clean, the hotel was in good condition, food was good, I don't have anything bad to say, I will try to stay there again when I'm in Istanbul.

Hotel location was great, on the quiet street only a 5 minutes walk from Hagia Sofia, The Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Our room was on the 4th floor, with an excellent view on the beautiful Gulhane park. Room was large and clean. Our great thanks to everyone working there, the stuff was nice, very friendly and helpful. We really liked our experience there and definitely going to stay again when we are in Istanbul.

Great Hotel in a great location! 5 stars!!! I stayed in a twin room my first night, and the regular room was just fine, thank you. However, because my wife was joining me, I upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. It was worth the extra expense! The view was great! We both loved our stay! The location is fantastic… It’s on a quiet street in the historic old city. The wall of the palace is across the street… There are nearby gateways into Gulhane Park, which is where the Topkapi Palace and related museums are located. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are as close as a 15 minute walk. There is a tram stop on the corner in the direction of Hagia Sophia. In the other direction, another 10 minute walk will get you to the train station that was the terminus of the original Orient Express train. Across the street from the train station is the ferry terminal! Access to the rest of Istanbul could not be easier. If you’re in the mood, you can walk to the spice bazaar. Public transit is easy and efficient, and the hotel is well situated for exploring the area. We stayed 7 days and used only public transportation. We took ferries, trams, metro and busses. No need for taxis. Breakfast at the hotel was quite good and we got to know the staff. In particular, get to know the manager, Okay. He is good at his job, and had great advice for things to see and do, as well as how to leverage public transport. He is well connected and can also arrange tours, if you are so inclined.

Nice boutique hotel in a great location in the sultanahmet neighborhood. Beds are small and the building is ran on central cooling/heating so keep that in mind. Our room was really warm and they just had the option to turn heat on so we had to leave the window open all day and night to stay cool. Other than that really nice staff and a great hotel to stay at during our trip.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Mein Zimmer war nach hinten raus und die Klimaanlagen waren sehr laut. Ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. My room was not large, but big enough for me. It was very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and kind and the concierge was always available to arrange outings, taxis, etc. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options and different things each day. The hotel is right across the street from the beautiful Gülhane Park, steps from a tram stop, and easy walking distance to all of the Sultanahmet area tourist sites.

We loved everything about Sirkeci Mansion. The pre-trip messages via Expedia were very helpful and made it easy to arrange airport transportation. Check-in was great, rooms were perfect, and breakfast was excellent. But what makes Sirkeci Mansion great is Mr. Agah Okay and the entire hotel staff. We really can’t thank them enough for making our first trip to Istanbul as memorable as it was. The walking tour lead by Mr. Okay was outstanding and should not be missed! We arrived too late in the week to make the other tours, but I have to assume they are also great. Finally, the hotel is in a prime location, with mostly everything in the Old City within walking distance. The tram and metro are also very close, convenient and easy to use. We can’t wait to return to Istanbul and Sirkeci Mansion!

Staff are outstanding- absolutely make the stay exceptional. Knowledgeable, friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Take one of their organized tours - our food tasting tour with the Manager, Mr Alkan was exceptional! Breakfast is very good, and hot dishes change every day. The location is outstanding, proximate to all major sites, and 1 minute from tram stop - which makes it super easy to get around. The location is outstanding, proximate to all major sites, and 1 minute from tram stop - which makes it super easy to get around. The Manager welcomed us from the onset. Even though we arrived early, he arranged for coffee and then we joined him on an excellent walking tour not for tourists. He even bought us ice cream and pretzels. The staff were so helpful throughout our stay and they recommended a great restaurant for our last nights dinner. Would highly recommend to any friends going to Istanbul.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Sirkeci Mansion hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the area, it was easy to walk to everything in the old town. Everything was clean, the hotel was in good condition, food was good, I don't have anything bad to say, I will try to stay there again when I'm in Istanbul.

Sikeci Mansion is an impressive boutique hotel in the heart of old Istanbul. It is in a quiet but central location, perfect for visiting the main cultural/historical sites in the city (e.g. Aghia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Bosphorus). There's a lovely park near by (Gulhane park), as well as lots of good quality restaurants and cafes near by and easy access to shops. The hotel itself is well-maintained and the staff were excellent: they were friendly and keen to help with any queries. I'd highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay here again when visiting Istanbul.

Great Hotel in a great location! 5 stars!!! I stayed in a twin room my first night, and the regular room was just fine, thank you. However, because my wife was joining me, I upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. It was worth the extra expense! The view was great! We both loved our stay! The location is fantastic… It’s on a quiet street in the historic old city. The wall of the palace is across the street… There are nearby gateways into Gulhane Park, which is where the Topkapi Palace and related museums are located. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are as close as a 15 minute walk. There is a tram stop on the corner in the direction of Hagia Sophia. In the other direction, another 10 minute walk will get you to the train station that was the terminus of the original Orient Express train. Across the street from the train station is the ferry terminal! Access to the rest of Istanbul could not be easier. If you’re in the mood, you can walk to the spice bazaar. Public transit is easy and efficient, and the hotel is well situated for exploring the area. We stayed 7 days and used only public transportation. We took ferries, trams, metro and busses. No need for taxis. Breakfast at the hotel was quite good and we got to know the staff. In particular, get to know the manager, Okay. He is good at his job, and had great advice for things to see and do, as well as how to leverage public transport. He is well connected and can also arrange tours, if you are so inclined.

Hôtel que je recommande fortement. Il est très bien situé à deux pas du tramway et du grand Park Guhlane et 10 mn de la mosquée bleue et Ste Catherine.
