Stayed 3 nights

I have never taken the time to write a bad review. But I feel compelled to warn others. My stay at this inn was so unpleasant, it didn’t allow me to fully enjoy my time around the area. It is SO loud. Beginning at about 6:30 am everyday of our 3 night stay we heard people running back and forth across the wooden floors above us, furniture being slid back and forth across the floor, vacuuming began around 7:30 in the morning, again, directly above us. Every day of our stay. I don’t even know how that’s possible. Doors slamming. More people running. Traffic outside is also very loud in the room, although more out of their control. The toilet sat up on a 6” raised area of the floor which ended at the front of the toilet. Which meant your feet could not physically touch the floor when trying to use the restroom, unless your legs were spread and stretched to the extreme side around the toilet. My husband had to leave our room every day and go elsewhere to have a functional toilet. The water pressure in the shower was barely a trickle. I couldn’t wash my long hair for the three days we stayed there, because it simply would not have been possible. My husband tried all three days we stayed there to discuss these issues with hotel management. Our issues were entirely ignored and nothing was done. We were in town for a wedding, and we spent our time exhausted with an inability to sleep past 6:30 am, unable to properly shower or use even the toilet, and frustrated with indifferent staff

The Kennebunkport Inn was very good! My only comment is that the Inn could use a better internet service provider. Thank you

Very very pleasant staff. Easy parking. Antique building so to be expected some compromise. No outlet in bedroom for phone by bed was frustrating, though. Very noisy old window units, Bathroom was disappointing: Goos hot water, but claw tub with flaking exterior paint, no stopper to take a bath, curtain was a thin white liner to which scissors were taken to make a cutout for faucets. No real shower curtain. A little (inexpensive) updating would go a long way. Good location. Good hot water
