Es ist ein altes Gebäude, daher nicht mehr ganz taufrisch und mit Treppen statt Aufzug. Kein2 Kritik, nur zur Information. Parken ist gut organisiert im benachbarten Parcheggio privato, ca. 200 Meter. Unser Zimmer hatte einwn Zugang zu einem Innenhof (Terrasse), die aber nicht einladend war. Die Betten waren mir zu hart. Der Wasserdruck bei der Dusche sehr gut. Frühstück war gut, es gab gute Croissants, diverse Kuchen, Wurst, Käse, Obst, alles Wesentliche. Frühstück geht auch draussen, je nach Wetter. Zur Fussgängerzone und Arena sind es nur wenige hubserr Meter, ca. 10 Minuten. Alles in allem ok., aber es geht sicherlich auch besser, ohne gleich deutlich teurer zu sein. Guter Kompromiss wegen der Parkmöglichkeit, die es so st häufig nicht gibt in der Innenstadt.

Nice rustic property in quiet location half way between bus station and the tourist area. Nice simple breakfast. Rooms very traditional but a bit aged with random furniture. Curtains too narrow to cover windows which were on ground floor facing the morning eating area. Besides breakfast there were no food or snack options and fridge in room barely kept things cool. Would suggest introducing some basic room service and revamping some rooms.

The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk to the city center. Beautiful artwork on the walls. No lift. Staff incredibly helpful. Our room was a little small. Bed was comfortable.

We have stopped in Verona for one night, to assist opera concert at Arena We have decided for hotel boutique for 2 reasons, they offer parking space (as available in Hotels) and the high rating from other travelers The same 2 reasons were quite disappointing for us. Just 5 min after confirming the reservation, we received a call from hotel telling us there was no parking availability and gave us some hints to park in the street or a private garage. Regarding the rating of the hotel, we have booked a superior room (a kind of apartment at ground level, including access to the patio, having a living room, bedroom and bathroom. The overall condition of the apartment looks quite out of maintenance, starting with the air conditioning that required a filter cleaning which was performed by the front desk person in an Expedited way. Breakfast was good and location is not at old town but still at walkable distance to the arena Bottom line, our first time staying in a hotel rated 9.0 by travelers and not feeling the same

Mooie plek dichtbij het centrum. Kamers kunnen wel upgrade gebruiken geen afzuiging in de badkamer werkte niet meer. Verlichting op de gangen kan beter. Moeilijk te vinden misschien toch een vlag aan de gevel..

Hotel Scalzi is a beautiful hotel. Our room (and the whole hotel) was very clean and comfortable. All the staff we met were very friendly. Breakfast was good and on a nice day you can sit outside in the courtyard. The only issue was the wall adjoining the next room was quite thin and we were woken up when they came in (we could hear their conversation and TV).

We couldn't have been happier than our choice to stay at this hotel. It was a short walk from the train station and a short walk to central Verona so the location was ideal. Our room was right above the main entrance and the only one that I noticed that had a balcony. It was only suited for standing and looking at the city, but nice to have. The room was large, clean and a good value. We especially loved the buffet breakfast with so many food choices and a very nice garden area to sit it. Got the day started right! If you stay here then I highly recommend Da Vito Restaurant, just around the corner. A small, family ran place with fantastic pasta dishes at reasonable prices. It was by far our fav.

Sowohl das Personal beim Check in als auch das Personal im Frühstücksbereich war sehr freundlich. Sowohl das Zimmer als auch das Badezimmer waren sehr angenehm von der Größe (Deluxe-Zimmer). Die Matrazen waren sehr gut und da das Zimmer zum wirklich hübschen Innenhof lag, war es Nachts himmlisch ruhig. Schön wäre es, wenn es in der Nähe des Waschbeckens Handtuchhalter oder Haken geben würde. Auch war die Ablagefläche im relativ großen Zimmer sehr limitiert. Es gab Bügel in dem Kleiderschrank, aber leider keine Möglichkeit kleine Kleidungsstücke - wie Wäsche- in die Schränke zu räumen, da diese durch Decken und Kissen belegt waren. Das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau, insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen und auch wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

A romantic break, but didn't fall in love with hotel. The superior room was on the first floor overlooking the main road, so lots of car noise.The room itself was very large with an upstairs, it felt very spacious but the whole room was very, very dull. Not much natural light, and not enough lights (or bright lights) in the room. There was also only one full length mirror. Strangely this was behind a towel radiator in the bathroom (yes behind the rad). The double bed was 2 singles pushed together. Breakfast was nice, not a great selection but ok. Overall a lovely trip in Verona, but we will not go back to that hotel. The reception area used in the main pic is the best part. T & D

The beds are not comfortable, the walls are paper thin and the TV next door kept us up until 2am. Also mosquitos attacked us at night and the air conditioner didn’t seem to work. Worst sleep of our trip. The hotel itself is very well decorated. Also has 28 steps with no elevator so mobility impaired people beware.

Ein schönes kleines Hotel in einem alten Gebäude mit schönem Innenhof zum frühstücken...Zimmer ok ' jedes individuell und nett eingerichtet, Größe ausreichend.. Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert ' so waren auch 35 Grad zu ertragen :-) Einzig verbesserungswürdig, in jedem Bad doch bitte eine Ablagemöglichkeit schaffen, die gab es in Zimmer 22 nicht Alles musste irgendwie mit im Zimmer gelagert werden, wo der Platz für Ablage auch nicht so üppig ist Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse gut und reichlich, viel Kuchen... Der Kaffee war allerdings schrecklich...und Cappuccino gibt es nur begrenzt oder ab dem 3 gegen Bezahlung Den schönen Innenhof kann man leider nur zum Frühstück nutzen Alles in allem empfehlenswert, kurze Wege - 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof 13 Minuten zur Arena und somit alles fußläufig um Verona zu genießen

Very nice. Yes, the beds are firm but that actually helped my back. Very clean. No lift but the wonderful young woman at the front desk helped me take my luggage up.

The hotel is in a fabulous location that allows easy access to both the city centre, Castelvechia and train station for day trips away. The breakfast selection and eating area is lovely, with very attentive staff and a good selection of food. The receptionist we dealt with, Norman, was very helpful and was happy to go above and beyond when neede. In short, happy to recommend and would gladly stay here agai.

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and also right on the edge of the old town so very convenient. Situated on the ground and first floor of an old palace it is a beautiful building, very authentic. Breakfast was continental, with plenty of choice. Very good and I would stay there again.

All great. Nice Hotel close to old city and all Attractions easy on foot 5 min away. Supermarket closeby too. Breakfast is a bit small but good quality. Staff very friendly and we were lucky to get one of the very nice garden rooms. Thank you!

We found this property through Expedia. It is in a great location, 10 minutes walk from the train station and a 10-15 leisurely walk to the centre of Verona. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental style but plentiful to set you up for the day. We stayed in a room overlooking a small courtyard at the back of the hotel and it was lovely and quiet. We would recommend this boutique hotel to those who want a lovely experience in the beautiful city of Verona.

We couldn't have been happier than our choice to stay at this hotel. It was a short walk from the train station and a short walk to central Verona so the location was ideal. Our room was right above the main entrance and the only one that I noticed that had a balcony. It was only suited for standing and looking at the city, but nice to have. The room was large, clean and a good value. We especially loved the buffet breakfast with so many food choices and a very nice garden area to sit it. Got the day started right! If you stay here then I highly recommend Da Vito Restaurant, just around the corner. A small, family ran place with fantastic pasta dishes at reasonable prices. It was by far our fav.

Strax utanför stadskärnan. Bra frukost med bröd, frukt, ägg, sött. Synd att det endast ingick en cappuccino per person då det var många som avstod och drack vanligt kaffe/the. Trevlig reception som hjälpte oss vid frågor. Tyst rum mot gården.

A romantic break, but didn't fall in love with hotel. The superior room was on the first floor overlooking the main road, so lots of car noise.The room itself was very large with an upstairs, it felt very spacious but the whole room was very, very dull. Not much natural light, and not enough lights (or bright lights) in the room. There was also only one full length mirror. Strangely this was behind a towel radiator in the bathroom (yes behind the rad). The double bed was 2 singles pushed together. Breakfast was nice, not a great selection but ok. Overall a lovely trip in Verona, but we will not go back to that hotel. The reception area used in the main pic is the best part. T & D

Sono molto soddisfatto di questi 4 giorni trascorsi qui. Colazione eccellente migliore per qualità del cibo ad esempio formaggi assortiti anziché le solite sottilette..torta salata..dolci ottimi quali treccine e torta di mele.. rispetto ad hotel di 4.. 5 .. stelle. Ottima la camera pulitissima e confortevole. Molto apprezzato il salottino con bollitore condiviso.Unico neo cambiate la marca del caffè.. questa mattina per la prima volta ho richiesto un cappuccino..pessimo perché freddo e senza sapore.

Ein schönes kleines Hotel in einem alten Gebäude mit schönem Innenhof zum frühstücken...Zimmer ok ' jedes individuell und nett eingerichtet, Größe ausreichend.. Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert ' so waren auch 35 Grad zu ertragen :-) Einzig verbesserungswürdig, in jedem Bad doch bitte eine Ablagemöglichkeit schaffen, die gab es in Zimmer 22 nicht Alles musste irgendwie mit im Zimmer gelagert werden, wo der Platz für Ablage auch nicht so üppig ist Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse gut und reichlich, viel Kuchen...
