Definitely not impressed with our stay here. First of all it should state that the pool is closed when booking. Had to go pay to swim somewhere else even though it was gorgeous out all weekend. Pretty sure the pipes are going to burst in the underground parking as around 7 new leaks sprung in 2 days. Windows in the room bolted shut. (Pretty sure that is against fire code, may want to look into.) Dirty tubs, floors and much more. Sadly this property is not well kept.

I booked this hotel as it had a pool but it was not working, they assigned me a room on the third floor and the elevator was not working, one of the keys for the room did not work and tried to call but either the phones or the receptionist was not working. it took me an hour to check out because no one is around the reception area, I could not drink any coffee anyway, guess why...

First off pool was broken and they couldn’t even tell me about til next day as first employee was stupid and played dumb. Kept saying “I don’t know answers to everything”? Pissed off as the pool was the reason for booking at this hotel!

For the price of the property I feel that basics would be provided (pool towels or additional towels, clean bathtub, full size pillows, room keys for both guests, etc). The location was good although the market and construction made it near impossible to get to the parking garage. We liked the outdoor pool and would recommend more seating and a few umbrellas for shade with a clean pool deck.

Hotel being renovated which I was unaware of at booking. Holes in wall where headboard previously was. No hot water in new tap/sink. Grit and dirt in grout around tub which had grit in surface of ( old/stained) tub. Hot and cold water for tub/shower but writing on tub control not legible. New toilet kept filling up every 10/15 minutes. Cracked tiles in bathroom. Dirty carpets in hallways. Underground parking had many leaky overhead pipes.

The outdoor pool was definitely the highlight of our stay!! The breakfast was decent but only open till 9 on the weekends! It was also completely out of most items both days we were there though we waited long enough on the second day and it was replenished. Wicked location especially for nightlife. Very walkable. Would definitely stay again!

They had a very unique swimming pool area, i know its only March right now, but i hear the swimming pool hasn't been open in a few years.. and although the bedding had been warshed by a manly set of housekeepers they apparently did not take the time to remove stains from the bed comforters, or towels.. Bathrooms still had the previous guests chest/pubes littering the showers, basically swept cleaned and new sheets kinda room.

If you're just looking for a place to sleep and take a shower, then this is an appropriate place. They have a parking lot underneath. The front desk lady was polite. They have a bag breakfast that we initially didn't like, but i appreciated the fruit and the maple long donut was surprisingly good when we ate it later in our trip. The room was renovated and was okay. One of the lights didn't even have a lightbulb in it. The bed was fine and we appreciated the mini fridge. However, the bathroom smelled like weed when we arrived. The window to the room was also opened when we arrived, so we think someone was trying to air out the place. The bath tub was full of stains, there were used toiletries at both the sink and on top of the towels in the bathroom. There was unflushed poop in the toilet and so many curly beard shavings all over the sink. Gross!!! It's like they just cleaned the bedroom and forgot about the bathroom or someone used it while on their shift.

Dirty carpeting/flooring, full trash cans, filthy windows, waited quite some time for fresh towels.dirty toilet and shower curtain, the smell of pot everywhere, street people coming and going from the lounge, front desk not answering the phone at anytof the day. We wont be back !

The rooms were dirty, floors, walls and even the toilet paper was empty. Dirty hand prints on the doors from the washroom. Hair in the tub. Bedspread had cigarette burns on the bed spread The hall ways and elevator was very dirty. Not good valve for the cost of the room

Absolutely horrible experience. First room was not even cleaned from the last guest. Toilet was horribly disgusting. Changed our room and the second room was no better and that toilet was plugged. I don’t think they even attempted to clean the rooms from the last guest. We left and asked for a refund to which they said they would credit, we will see if Expedia follows through. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We checked in at 8:30pm on a Friday into a deluxe king suite, noticed the room had smelled weird and very visibly dirty. The sink had hair in it, the tub and walls in the shower were gross the floors looked like that hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time . The bed looked like it had been just thrown back together with 3 pillows. So we went to the front desk and asked for maybe a king suite that was clean and then he gave us a different room. That room looked identical in its cleanliness… we left for a while can then came back at 10:30pm and checked out and asked if we could have a refund since we tried twice to get a clean king suite that we had paid for and the manager said well talk to the boss.. still no return…

The smoke detector was on the floor when we got into the room. Overnight, the winds blew and the window blew open and could not be secured as it was broken. Decent enough room with the recent remodel, but there are still things that need to be fixed.

Floor in the bathroom and in front of sink was sticky. Our shoes stuck to it. Toilet was dirty when we came. Room and bed was clean. Quiet and air conditioner worked well as it was very hot. Good location. For the money I would stay again.

The front staff wasn't unfriendly but also not friendly either. The hotel is old and somewhat outdated. It has been renovated so the rooms are quite nice, especially for the price. The doors and walls are very thin. You can hear people talking clearly in the hallway and other rooms. It snowed while we were there so we got to hear the backup siren of the plow all night (not the fault of the hotel obviously but just thin walls). Overall a decent hotel for the price and I did enjoy being downtown however some people may not enjoy it as much as there are homeless people in the vicinity. I will stay here again.

The original room I was assigned had not been serviced. The room they put me in was at the end of the hall with the window opening on a staircase and the door to the staircase slammed every time someone walked out. I got one decent night's sleep. DO NOT ACCEPT A ROOM ON ANY FLOOR THAT ENDS IN 29! Having said that, the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.

Old hotel and a bit run down. Others in our party weren’t allowed to check in till 8pm and room was still dirty, when asked for housekeeping the front desk guy gave her a broom and said you can clean it yourself. Our room was ok, old, and loud, but manager was absolutely fantastic and really tried to make our stay enjoyable. He was great!!!

There were bandaids and needles in the parking lot. The parking lot behind the hotel was crowded and hard to maneuver. The room we stayed in had holes in the glass of the window.

This is an older hotel located in the downtown area so it places you within walking distance of many local restaurants and pubs. That being said, the convenience comes with a price. Overall the hotel is good. Common areas were clean and maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast had a great selection but go early to avoid some things running out. Our room was what you would expect for the price. It was clean but needed a bit of TLC. However our group frequently encountered a lot of street people in stairwells and the underground parking area doing drugs and loitering. The staff are great at monitoring and removing them but to be honest some of our group was uncomfortable with being alone in those areas, and at times felt that safety was an issue.

The pictures online match the room. Everything was clean and fresh. Only 1 problem was the bathroom door, it got stuck closed, other than that the stay was pleasant and staff was very very accommodating. Would 100% recommend for a stay and price was right on point. It was a short walk to all local night life.

The hotel was very good. The room was comfortable and the mattress was great . Our only complaint was the breakfast choices were rather disappointing.... and heaven forbid if you put off coming for breakfast after 830 ... there was no choices at all

Good budget hotel, newly renovated. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. Many cold items offered for breakfast but only pancakes for a hot item. The location downtown was quiet and felt safe. There were many pub locations nearby and shopping was available within minutes. I would stay here again.
