What a great time we had even though it was only for one night! The owners Richard and Stephen( I think!)were friendly and helpful and the other visitors were also very friendly. This all helped to make what was a lovely ambience; you felt as though your every need was being acted on. Wonderful people wonderful small hotel. The only thing not so good about the place was that there was no chair or desk area in the rooms, this was inevitable as it was a grade two listed building and restrictions on what you could do, so the rooms were smaller than you might expect. This was not a great problem though and we would return for a second stay without hesitation.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Selby, a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Very nice welcome from the owners and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. Powerful rain head shower and high quality fittings. Breakfast was self service with bread and toaster, waters, orange and apple juice prepacked pastries, cereals and jams and marmalade. Coffee and tea available too from a machine. Very nice bar where breakfast is served in the morning and locals and guests congregate at night. Very reasonably priced wines and drinks. Highly recommended.
