I would’ve liked to know that the pool area was under construction, while we could swim it was so dusty! Dust covered everything! And the construction crew left several nails in the pool that my husband and granddaughter dove down to collect so they wouldn’t hurt anyone. The room had ants, and we were lacking a shower curtain and had to ask for it. We chose this hotel based on reviews. I wouldn’t choose it again.

Staff was great very nice and friendly everyone of them that I seen and spoke with had a great attitude, got checked in nice soft king size bed ,the kids room bunk beds was great space my children loved it. Swimming pool and hot tub with gym was very nice and relaxing. The elevator was under repairs staff pre warned me I’d have to use the stairs which is fine little exercise never hurt anyone. Definitely will stay here again if I come back to town thanks to the very friendly staff don’t get that treatment very often in big cities so the nice southern hospitality was great to see

We had to wait a long time to check in even though we were exhausted from our long drive. The check in girl was outside in her boyfriend's car at the entrance. We had to call the front desk phone for her to come in and check us in. So very unprofessional. Hot tub broken and elevator broken too.

Hotel was good. Breakfast was good. But the elevator was out and had my 75 year old mom with me who has trouble walking. Had to help her up and down 3 flights of stairs multiple times.

The ac wasnt cooling properly. Elevator was out of servise along with the hot tub. No tissues in 2 of our rooms. I asked for us to be closeand we were 2 different floors. The rooms were nice

Had a few issues checking in and had to move rooms but once that was settled everything was fine. The elevator's a little slow and rickety but we took the stairs as long as we didn't have our luggage. Breakfast we've been fine but one day it was almost gone an hour before it was supposed to be over , semi raw potatoes ,watered down juices and gravy just barely warm. I did go put in the microwave and it was pretty good. Next day same thing at breakfast. Walls are pretty thin. We were in no hurry so not a big issue for us. Just giving info for lite sleepers . bed was great, next time we'll bring our pillows. They were doing some work around the property and I'm thinking that why no outside seating available. Lucky we went to Walmart And grabbed a couple of camp chairs. I will give the place another shot

Elevator broken- elderly parents had to climb to third floor. Sheets not changed from previous guest- we got new sheets and remade the bed ourselves. Batteries dying in thermostat and had to be changed- by us. TV would not come on- we had to disconnect a reconnect tv to get it to work. Razor jammed in shower rod to keep it from falling. Walls thin- could hear full conversation of neighbors in next room. Chaotic stay!

The room was very dirty. There was uneaten food in the drawers, spiders in the bathtub and we watched one come up from the shower drain. I would have left but it was late and I had to get the kid to sleep. But I barely slept thinking about what was in the room. We got up early and left. I will say the staff was very nice and the breakfast was so-so. I am not one to leave a review, especially negative, but this room was gross.

Elevator broken and on 3rd floor. Sheets had not been changed. AC batteries had to be changed. We had to take care of all problems because one person to service a full hotel. Unacceptable. She did the best she could. Customer behind us had prosthesis and no elevator.

Traveled with partner the location is quiet and convenient to all locations in town and to Joplin Missouri. Rooms very clean as were the property grounds, this is our second stay here and will be our go to location

The front desk clerk was very helpful, and the guy running breakfast was super nice. The bed was clean and comfortable, the ac kept the room cool. The bathroom could've been cleaner and the towels are a bit rough. All things considered it's a good stay and I'd stay again. We saved a significant amount by booking through Expedia so definitely shop around before booking direct.

This hotel used to be a Holidsy Inn, it is updated and looks good on the surface but the first room we got into had a bad smell and the air was very damp and musty. I checked the air conditioners filters and they were clean. So after running the AC for a couple of hours the damp and musty air did not improve. The phone was not plugged into a phone jack and I couldn’t access the wall phone jack to plug it in. A lamp was also not plugged into a USB jack and there was not one available so I couldn’t turn on the lamp either. There were no towels of any size in our bathroom but some left over gold fish crackers and an in opened bottle of Fireball from the previous guests were found on the floor. We changed rooms and it was much better but I couldn’t figure out how to keep the fan on the AC on to run continually. The bed squeaked with the turn of your head so I didn’t sleep much that night. Breakfast was a nice surprise as it was very good!

The former Holiday Inn reopened. Some things can't be fixed quickly. Some of the bathroom layouts are tight. The rooms I've been in have dings in the walls and some of the lights don't work.

Overall hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The shower curtain rod was broken which made it hard to keep the curtain closed but was able to take a shower still. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. I felt safe staying here. Right off Turnpike 44. Very easy to find.

TV volume would work. Took a while to get checked in. The booking info wasn't on the front desk computer and staff had to go to another room for a while to get the info and come back and manually enter the info.

Staff was great very nice and friendly everyone of them that I seen and spoke with had a great attitude, got checked in nice soft king size bed ,the kids room bunk beds was great space my children loved it. Swimming pool and hot tub with gym was very nice and relaxing. The elevator was under repairs staff pre warned me I’d have to use the stairs which is fine little exercise never hurt anyone. Definitely will stay here again if I come back to town thanks to the very friendly staff don’t get that treatment very often in big cities so the nice southern hospitality was great to see

The front desk clerk was very helpful, and the guy running breakfast was super nice. The bed was clean and comfortable, the ac kept the room cool. The bathroom could've been cleaner and the towels are a bit rough. All things considered it's a good stay and I'd stay again. We saved a significant amount by booking through Expedia so definitely shop around before booking direct.

We had to wait a long time to check in even though we were exhausted from our long drive. The check in girl was outside in her boyfriend's car at the entrance. We had to call the front desk phone for her to come in and check us in. So very unprofessional. Hot tub broken and elevator broken too.

I caught them during a system change when checking in, but they were prepared since I had a reservation. I was checked in and on my way to the room in less than 5 minutes!!

Traveled with partner the location is quiet and convenient to all locations in town and to Joplin Missouri. Rooms very clean as were the property grounds, this is our second stay here and will be our go to location

Breakfast was fine. Normal for a hotel. Some maintenance needed on the shower wall. But overall it was clean and quiet. Convenient to the casino where the concert was being held at.

Still making their way after they stopped being a Holiday Inn Express. The same breakfast foods and the attendant was a very diligent guy. The last few time I stayed here I was only on the first floor.

This was an adequate, no-frills hotel at a decent cost. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complementary breakfast was satisfactory with eggs, sausage, B&G, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal. Overall, for a business trip, I would stay again.

This hotel used to be a Holidsy Inn, it is updated and looks good on the surface but the first room we got into had a bad smell and the air was very damp and musty. I checked the air conditioners filters and they were clean. So after running the AC for a couple of hours the damp and musty air did not improve. The phone was not plugged into a phone jack and I couldn’t access the wall phone jack to plug it in. A lamp was also not plugged into a USB jack and there was not one available so I couldn’t turn on the lamp either. There were no towels of any size in our bathroom but some left over gold fish crackers and an in opened bottle of Fireball from the previous guests were found on the floor. We changed rooms and it was much better but I couldn’t figure out how to keep the fan on the AC on to run continually. The bed squeaked with the turn of your head so I didn’t sleep much that night. Breakfast was a nice surprise as it was very good!

Had a few issues checking in and had to move rooms but once that was settled everything was fine. The elevator's a little slow and rickety but we took the stairs as long as we didn't have our luggage. Breakfast we've been fine but one day it was almost gone an hour before it was supposed to be over , semi raw potatoes ,watered down juices and gravy just barely warm. I did go put in the microwave and it was pretty good. Next day same thing at breakfast. Walls are pretty thin. We were in no hurry so not a big issue for us. Just giving info for lite sleepers . bed was great, next time we'll bring our pillows. They were doing some work around the property and I'm thinking that why no outside seating available. Lucky we went to Walmart And grabbed a couple of camp chairs. I will give the place another shot

Hotel is need of deep cleaning, and over all appearance isn’t appealing. From dirty carpets, elevators and room had body fluids behind the faucet in restroom . Breakfast was ok, however the sausage was burnt, counters weren’t being maintained during breakfast time.
