The Econo Lodge Inn & Suites was very clean. The location was centralized where everything we needed was easily accessible. The only negative about this location is there is not an elevator. Climbing stairs is hard on my husband's knees.

We chose this hotel because of the price, but we were very satisfied with our choice. We felt very safe even though there were several vagrants in the area (they have bright lights in the parking lot and security cameras everywhere). The beds were very comfortable, breakfast was good(you can have eggs made to order) and we were treated very respectfully by everyone & the lobby & hallways smelled really good. Our room was clean with the exception of the floor which may or may not have been swept & mopped(reason for the 4 instead of 5 cleanliness stars), but I did love that it didn't have carpet. All in all, if you just want a really nice & comfortable place to sleep that is really close to shopping & restaurants.....this is the place for you!!!

1. ceiling tile were missing outside the entrance to room. Exposing inner workings .... 2.Tub would not drain 3. Found shard in bed. It was sharp, This is a health hazard. Was the sheets even cleaned before I checked in?

Property is very nice. The room was ok except for the bathroom. Foremost… the grout in the tub is moldy. Also, the shower curtain rod is mounted very poorly and about to fall off. There are other details that the renovation contractors did poorly or were left undone. These housekeeping and maintenance items knocked this stay down from a 5/5 to a 3 or 4.

The Econo Lodge doesn’t look like the pictures on Expedia. It showed red clay colored building with Econo Lodge sign, but it was a light grey colored building that said Quality Inn. Be careful not to fly past it like we did! The room looked clean. The floors were a bit sticky feeling and dirty. The AC unit was incredibly loud and the pull out filter nets were dusty. That may not be the case for everyone, With these small things I have to say the beds were very clean and comfortable and the staff working there are very nice :) Definitely one of the better places to stay and it is so close to Garden of the Gods. I would recommend this place for sure! (Bring a pair of house shoes for after showering. It’s nicer to wear some anyway ;) )

Great place to stay, good price for Sante Fe safe, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was bananas, cereal, yogurt, waffle, small muffins, fresh cooked eggs with cheese. Your average hotel breakfast minus sausage or potatoes. Had a king room and it was quite spacious, bathroom very small , but perfect for two people. Definitely would stay again. 15 minutes to downtown with a $10 a day parking at El Segunda hotel.

Noisy! Our room was in the front of the building. Big trucks roar by all night. The windows do not block the noise. This situation was made worse by the very loud, rattling a/c unit in the room. Neither of us slept more than a couple of hours total all night. They should hand out ear plugs at this hotel.

The Econo Lodge was exactly what is needed for a quick stop overnight. Easy parking, efficient check in and good service. The interior is nicely updated for an older style motel and the bed was very nice. Great value for the money.

Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were small. Every time we went to the front desk there was no staff, had to call and wait for someone. Breakfast was good but limited choices. Neighborhood at night was scary with all the homeless people camping on the sidewalks.

The review requested "what was unique about this facility?" We were treated disrespectfully and far beyond rude by the person in charge of this facility. Expedia won't allow me to describe the language that was used. It rejected my truthful description when I attempted to use a euphemism to describe the word that was hurled at me by the head guy at the front desk - and I only raised my voice to attempt to finish my response to his litany of threats as he talked over me. This was all over the issue that one of his staff had granted my request to checkout two (2) hours later than usual due to an emergency situation. Just think of the word that begins with "EFF" and ends with "ing." How would you feel? He also threatened to victimize us by levying a surcharge if we stayed one hour longer, yet we had no place to go. We did manage to get out by 2 minutes before the originally-granted time. Although the facilities were clean and the staff was deferential, this person made such a negative impression that I wouldn't stay there again, even if it were the last hotel existing on the planet. I strongly advise you to find another hotel in which the top executive will treat you with dignity, respect and courtesy. This is not such a facility. You've been warned as explicitly as I am able. Go somewhere else or risk being subjected to vulgar language and threats over the smallest issue.

This Econolodge is very good value for money. The staff are very helpful, and found me a ground floor room as I couldn't manage getting my suitcases up the stairs. The king-bed room I was given had fridge, m'wave, coffee maker, hairdryer, and TV. Although it faced towards the main road, there was no traffic noise. Breakfast options were great, with real omelets and scrambled eggs made to order. I highly recommend this hotel, but visitors should be aware that there is no elevator to the 2nd floor.

This budget hotel probably beats some of the luxury hotels that you’ll spend $300+ a night for, the only difference is you have about a 10-15 minute drive to the heart of downtown and a basic hotel room, which did not bother us one bit. This place was recently renovated, sparkling clean, and the parking lot was well lit and felt incredibly safe. We ran into 0 issues. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean. It’s probably the best hotel on the block and the reviews speak for themselves. The lovely landscaping out front felt very inviting and you’re nearby to shopping and dining. It is on a busy street so there is some noise but it tapers at night and didn’t bother us. The breakfast had limited options but they kept up on stocking it and we enjoyed it all the same.

Overall a very good stay. Very clean, great bed, spacious room. On the downside, the location is noisy because of Cerillos road traffic, and there are a lot of homeless people in the area who approach travelers. It would have been nice to have a comfortable armchair in the room or a public lounge area to relax.

Given what we were looking for - a spot to spend the night on a road trip - the hotel was great. The room was plenty large. There was a mini fridge and microwave. The sink and vanity were outside the bathroom, which is a nice feature when two people are getting ready in the morning. The included breakfast was satisfactory. The hotel is on a busy street and traffic noise can be a little loud. It’s only a two-story facility and there is no elevator. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance, but it isn’t an area that I would advertise as walkable. Again, for what we were looking for, it was great. We would stay again.

A pretty standard hotel on a main road outside central Santa Fe. It worked for us. Appreciated the fresh-cooked eggs for breakfast, and the staff was good to us. We walked to dinner at a restaurant across Cerrillos, which is a very busy street, but it was OK.

Room was connected to next room. Noisy! The door had no seal and the people in the other room might as well have been in ours. Ridiculously loud. Bathroom shelves inadequate and OLD/worn. Put a shelf under the sink at least. Breakfast minimal choices. Croissant nice touch. No meat

Stay was pleasant with quick and efficient check-in. Room was very simple but very clean. Location was safe with lots of shopping and dining options and pleasantly quiet for being in a busy part of town. Amenities where simple yet well maintained. Only complain would be that the complimentary breakfast needs more space for dinning. Other than that would recommend for a affordable family stay.

The great reviews aren’t wrong! Worth the 3 mile drive off I-25. Arrived 8 pm and checked out next day ant 10 am. Everything I look for in an overnight stay. Cleanliness on steroids. Comfortable king bed. Continental breakfast with the usual, plus made fresh scrambled eggs or cheese omelet. Friendly staff. Safety Doors locked 10 pm to 10 am.
