Great value for the area. Super efficient check-in but that's the only interaction with staff. Bed was thin and creamy but I so we or just in fine. Ample parking right off the highway, but no in road noise.

The reception is a bit of a mess and not exactly welcoming, but it’s a quiet and clean place to stay. Rooms have great amenities like a super large flat screen TV, big fridge/freezer and microwave. Very good AC and lots of parking. Not much is within walking distance. Definitely need a car. Great price!

Some of the furnishings are older but the rooms are always clean. My room was spacious, had a Keurig, a nice TV, and a new microwave and fridge. The property layout is convenient and the common areas and parking are well lit and on camera. There are vending machines and an ice machine convenient to the rooms. I plan to stay here whenever I’m in New Paltz.

Very, very rundown. Smelled of smoke. Outside area not at all clean. Garbage strewn around. Needs major overhaul!!! Price jacked up because they of college parents weekend in the area. The hotel is very clean! The owner was super nice and accommodating. My only complaint was my debit card would not work on the terminal, this caused stress for me and a delay in checking in. I then had to use the ATM in the front to get the cash which cost me an extra $5. Not happy about that

The whole place had a funky smell. There was at least an inch of dust all around the edge of the walls in the room we were in. There was lots of dust on tops of lamps and the furniture in the room was very old and beat up. There was some really gross stain on the bedspread on my bed. On the positive side the bathroom was fairly clean, there was hot water, and the bed itself was not too bad. Everything about the place was pretty rundown and just dirty looking. We didn't have a lot of money to work with though, and this sort of fit the bill. Next time I would look to be a little further away from New Paltz at something cleaner.

We only were there a night. We dropped our child at school and needed a place to sleep a few hours. We received a bigger room which was good but the sink was leaking and the television stayed on even when we tried to turn it off. It was very quiet and was comfortable for a night.

We had a very good experience. The only thing that made things a little difficult for us is that the bed in the room was very high off the floor. For shorter people, like my wife, that made getting into and out of bed harder than it should.

I was pleasantly surprised by this no frills hotel. Nice king bed, clean updated bathroom. very effective blackout curtains appreciated as the window was right at ground level. The place is a couple miles out of town and all by itself so quiet.

One of the staff members came and rudely asked us to be quiet at 9:15pm on a Saturday. To my understanding quiet time is at 10pm EVERY WHERE so I’m not sure what their deal was and we weren’t even being that loud we were simply playing a card game. At 5 pm I had called for extra towels and they didn’t have any clean towels available until 7/8 pm. They never delivered the towels and at 9:30 we had to go ask for towels again at the front desk.

Our experience was excellent! Our room was clean and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable and the shower had nice water pressure. The office personnel was very helpful with anything that we needed. Rodeway Inn was also centrally located for visiting family at the college, wandering and eating in New Paltz and kayaking!! All within 10 minutes!! We will definitely stay here again! Last but not least, the price was reasonable.

This motel is convenient and clean. It is a no frills place to stay for a night or two when all you need is a place to sleep and shower. I stayed there when attending my daughter’s graduation from New Paltz and it was perfect. It was a quick drive to the school from there.

It was great for the price range. All amenities, good location, staff was helpful. I would go back when I'm in New Paltz area. I especially enjoyed have a Keurig coffee maker in the room, very nice. Room was clean. I forgot to tip the cleaning staff, sorry.

Expensive for what we got. No breakfast, hair conditioner or shower gel. However, they were very generous with towels. And we appreciated their attempts to make the facility pleasant. They were also very responsive in correcting a problem we had with the shower.

This Rodeway Inn advertises a continental breakfast to be available daily. False advertising. Additionally this Inn advertises a free daily paper. False advertising. The room television requires an advanced av degree to operate. We required assistance every time we turned on the set. My wife & I are fully capable of operating an advanced system. This tv hadn’t bridged the area to “user friendly” yet. Because of the above inconvenience and false advertising, Rodeway owes me services in kind

Prices are reasonable and the motel is close to shopping and activity but not right on top of it so there's a nice little ride to reach the hustle and bustle. The manager, Sunny, is extremely accommodating and committed to creating an excellent guest experience. Parking is easy and the highway is minutes away. Room temperature is easily controllable and spacious refrigerator in rooms. Nice forceful shower. No outdoor noise. Enjoyed great farm markets and the Ulster County pool, and 2 supermarkets if not needing to eat in a restaurant, all right in New Paltz only minutes away. Would definitely return.

All the negative reviews.. idk why. I loved this place HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE . i can roll my wheelchair to my room and out the hotel. They were quick. Kind one guy asked me if i needa different room for my wheelchair. Honestly thats amazing he thought of that. It was really cold one night. And we called for a blanket. Boom they showed up super fast with a nice warm one. Less than 10min they wete there with it. Theres plenty of places to eat in the area so not having breakfast there is okay. The tvs currently have io digital cable. You can use an hdmi but you cannot cast from another device they said. Its okay we watched comedy central and were happy. Be kind to them and youll get it back. Love this place. Would totally stay again.
