Staff is great here - helpful. Awesome location. Fan in the bathroom didn’t work and bathroom needed some updating. Bed is comfortable. Free coffee downstairs in the morning

Room was clean and comfortable. Loud in hallway, easily heard in room. Bar and grille was closed, only open for breakfast. Lobby and elevators dated.

No freight elevator so the staff are continually using the elevators, one elevator was down most of the time I was there so I had to wait plenty of time to leave in the morning. The gym was functional but not very clean.

The Hilton garden inn in Chelsea is fine. It is convenient and clean overall but the gym doesn’t have a good ventilation with a moldy smell. The room is not big but considering its location, I would recommend this hotel.

Room itself was quite small but comfortable . Not a lot of room to put your suitcases. We had two large and two carry-on. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning was a wall/under window type unit. Did not work very well. Ran all night, was noisy. Had trouble with the door key card, but staff was Very helpful and responded immediately. Elevators were slow. Second day one was out of order, which meant we had a bit of a wait. 22 stories and only one elevator is not good. USB ports were plentiful, but none of them worked. Porter was very helpful and friendly. We did not eat breakfast there. Too expensive. $18.95 each. Went around the corner to McDonald’s. Parking garage was 1 block away. $50 a day, as long as you did not go in and out. Traffic on the street in front of hotel was absolutely terrible but guess that is to be expected for New York City. Would not complain about the $350 a night if the street had not looked like a business alley. Very junky with wholesale flower and plant venders and their stock filling the sidewalks and even the street. Lots of homeless people scrounging around outside. One guy was screaming obscenities. Think the hotel door guy should be out there to shoo them away.

This property on has two elevators and one has been out for months per the staff. The second elevator went out while I was staying here and I had to take the stairs 20 floors with luggage. Then my sons birthday event was postpone due to the fact that my MIL COULD NOT WALK DOWN 20 flights of stairs with a bum knee. We had three rooms one on the 10,16,and 20th floor. This was a nightmare. The bellman told me he was trying to hide because this is a regular thing that he is stuck to handle. THE STAFF IS AMAZING! What they are giving to work with is a old building that should have been remolded 15 ago. This should NOT BE A HILTON BRAND HOTEL.. worst I have ever stayed in.

The lobby sofas were stained so bad they weee too disgusting to sit on. The four person capacity hotel room was only stocked with toiletries and towels for two people. The front desk attempted to refuse towels and request we return the following day. The phone kept beeping the entire first night until it had to be unplugged and removed from the room until the battery died. One or both elevators were constantly out of service, causing over half an hour wait to get on the elevator on most occasions. There is no service elevator so most elevators were filled with maids carts or trash carts. The water was turned off for half a day and then when turned back on it proceeded to run brown water for a while and also filled the toilet tank with sediment, making it unusable and unable to refill. I was charged an early check in fee even though I didn’t receive room keys until after 4pm. The bathroom ceiling was peeling paint and the tub was peeling in spots as well. The floor tile grout was disgusting as it is brown in most places where it should be white. The location is great but the hotel is severely out of date and mishandled.

It’s a good location and very clean. My only disappointment was the elevator breaking often, resulting in long waits. The hotel is 21 story high. Out of the two elevators one kept breaking. The breakfast is okay. Staff is very nice, especially the housekeeping is top notch.

We were disappointed with this hotel the pictures are deceiving and not at all what you get, main lobby is small and dirty and the bathrooms are in the basement, the room had mattresses that were like 50 years old no support, old bedding , bathroom was honestly the worst I have seen, mold, peeling paint, dirty water don’t recommend.

Given that our go-to hotel in Chelsea was not available, this hotel caught my attention due to consistently positive reviews emphasizing its cleanliness. Unfortunately, my experience was very different. While the room itself was modest and functional, the level of cleanliness left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I noticed hairs in the bathtub and grime lingering in the bathroom corners, suggesting a lack of thorough cleaning. The walls had stains and scratches, and the bed comforters appeared worn and dated. Additionally, a large brown stain on the desk chair deterred us from using it altogether. These details give the impression that the housekeeping standards are far from meticulous. To add to my disappointment, the checkout experience was less than satisfactory. After managing my luggage solo to the lobby, the attendant offered to take the cart outside to meet my husband. During this, he accidentally tore two of my shopping bags containing laundry. Although I understood it was unintentional and reassured him it was fine, his subsequent comment — “well, you’re going home, right?” accompanied by a laugh — struck me as unprofessional. The condition of my belongings & the inconvenience caused should not be dismissed lightly, regardless of the circumstances. Overall, while the location is convenient, I believe the hotel would benefit from heightened attention to cleanliness and improved staff training to ensure guests feel respected.

There were multiple bloodstains on the carpet in our room, bathrooms were in very bad condition, bathtub was gross has paint chipping everywhere and mold in the corners. Elevators and main door not functioning throughout the 5 day stay. The property needs to be repaired and refurbished very badly

The room was very humid and the bathroom had a strange smell. The staff during breakfast was great! Lovely people.

Front desk staff was unfriendly and unprofessional. AC unit was so loud we had trouble sleeping. Every time the toilet was flushed, there was a terrible screeching and wining sound. The sheets had holes in them. One of the two elevators was down a few times during my stay, so there was a long line in the lobby and it took over 8 minutes to get to the room. Bathroom was dirty and often housekeeping forgot to replace shower soap, toilet paper, tissue, and fully restock towels. Worst Hilton stay in my experience.

I love this hotel. It’s our second stay here, and it’s definitely one of the hotels with roomier rooms. No problem with cleanliness. The staff has always been great. It’s a great location in flower alley with two different subway lines on each end of the block. Will definitely return!

The room was not very clean, the bathroom smelled constantly, and the ice machine and the elevator were broken.

Mattresses and pillows were worn out and should be replaced.

Good king bed. Curtain lacking a single hook prevents total darkness. Sink does not drain but lots of hot water quickly. Toilet seat loose!!

Nice room, weird beeping noise that they could not fix.

First room only has transparent mesh window covering. We had to pack all luggage and then move to another room the next day. The second room has a blind that is not working. So only half of the window is covered by it. Terrible experience, will no return.

Great location. Good price. The internet didn’t reach my room on the 16th floor which was a real bummer.

Rooms are a good size compared to some other hotels. Walking out on to 28th street with all the flower shops nearby is lovely. Cafe Avignon next door is also very nice. Enjoyed our stay.

Great small rooms

The staff was so helpful and extremely friendly. The rooms were not super fancy but perfect for a long weekend trip! They did however put an extra charge on my phone due to a rate change that the woman at the front desk cleared up for me before I went back home. Great area for walking downtown NYC and would for sure recommend to others!

First of all, kudos to the staff! The front desk team was fun, welcoming, and always in great spirits. The doorman was incredibly friendly and helpful as well. I’ve already saved this hotel for a future stay because of the wonderful experience. Truly excellent!

Window was missing a blackout curtain and had light coming in, room phone wasnt working, i had to go down…receptionists response was inappropriate and rude. They eventually found me another room. Expected a better room, and much better service.

While the staff were helpful this hotel was one of the worst Hilton’s I have stayed at. The rooms are in severe need of updating. While we were there only one elevator was working. Thankfully I was on the 4th floor and was able to use the stairs. We requested towels, clean pillow case and paper cups but only received part of what we requested. I stayed in this area because of the location and the proximity to restaurants and other attractions but I won’t be staying at this hotel again. When I checked out I was told a receipt would be emailed to me and have yet to receive it. I tried calling and the voicemail box for the billing dept is full. Not sure how I’ll get my receipt. Overall I’m super disappointed and it definitely impacted our stay.

I was very worried about staying at this property because of the reviews. The rooms were spacious for Manhattan. Beds are super comfy and the room was cleaned superbly every day: While the hotel is a bit soulless and tired. It's as good as any hotel costing $100 more per night. I stayed for 8 nights and all members of staff are down to earth and happy to answer any questions in polite and professional way. To be honest this property exceeded my expectations and I'm delighted. Thank you to the team!

Guests should be aware this is in the flower district so on week days there is very early (4am) delivery. Beautiful smell as you leave the hotel!!

Comfortable, clean and location, location, location. This hotel is just steps from a subway station and Uber drivers arrive within 1 minute. Only a 20 minute walk to Times Square, near McDonald's, 7 Eleven, affordable pizza for convenience... and the staff are amazing!

The location is very convenient with easy access to multiple subway lines. The staff is so friendly and kind. They offer free coffee and paid breakfast in the dining hall every morning. We liked bagels from nearby places (delis, bagel places, coffee shops). You're also very close to Korean Town, which offers very good Korean BBQ.

Breakfast waiter eas rude every morning. Like sombedy made him work. A lot of noise as they were maintaining the sliding entrance hotel doors all the week, it was noisy at a point we couldnt hear each other talk during breakfast nor had nor had our coffee i peace.

The place is great near everything only downfall is the breakfast 20 $ bucks for cereal and bagels and an extra 20 for omelets or pancakes is just much but other then that great close stay

Breakfast though included was extremely limited and sad , first time in my life that u heard that Omelette/ eggs are not included in breakfast …. Rooms are sad and need refurbishing…
