There is no front desk staff on site, but that didn't stop the experience from being excellent. The host phone number was very quick to respond and the amenities were fantastic. The location was a short drive away from King's Beach, so it was extremely convenient for what I needed.

The room (2 queen beds, ground level, with a small porch facing the pool) was neat and clean, though it proabably needed a bit of maintenance - the ceiling light in the kitchen area was missing the glass dome covering (just had the exposed light bulbs) - but otherwise not a big deal. Had a little bit of a view (from the room) of the lake/shore, as it was literally across the street from the hotel. There was a clean and well-maintained pool (closed for the season) and a hot tub (which was open). There is no staff on the compound for check-in and check-out - it's all done online and via text - but it works just fine, as there are instructions on the (former) office/frontdesk and on the back/inside of your room door!

There is no front desk staff. Check in is down with a smart phone. Fine for tech savy folks but would have been impossible for me without the help of a prior guest. This should be noted at time of booking, I know my limitations and would have booked elsewhere. The rooms were adequate but just so-so. Will not be going back.

The hotel is situated on a hill so that some the rooms labeled 1xx you’ll need to take stairs down to them. The second and third floors you’ll also need to take the stairs. There is no elevator. Once we found our room(114) it was nice. There is no one in the office and since we didn’t asked for our room to be cleaned (5 nights) the only time we saw a cleaning staff was they were walking around. It was OK for us. They were polite and gave us as many coffees as we wanted. It is in a nice quiet area and there are restaurants close by. Beautiful view when you crossed the street. All in all it fit our needs.
