The front desk staff were friendly enough, but the 50s motel hasn’t had an investment this century. A low budget inn close enough to the stadium for football gamedays. The neighborhood ain’t great, but not as bad as advertised- it’s on its own fenced compound and there’s no reason to walk anywhere.

The area felt a little sketchy, but that’s probably me just not being familiar with it. Usually hotels have soap, but this one did not. And there were bugs and cockroaches all over the room. The door had a gap between it and the frame, so air was coming in and the nearby highway traffic was very loud.

We are those that go out of town for a purpose and are basically in our room for a few hours. So paying for luxury is not required. This place is as advertised, older and cheap. But the room was clean including the bathroom. The bed was fine, the staff are nice. Fit our needs just fine.
