Message ahead for the indoor parking. Limited spaces. Also, Google maps will take you on a bit of a random loop and try to send you down a one way street 2 minutes from the hotel. Be careful of the trams as they do not stop.

This hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the Brussels-Midi train station. It is unique hotel with a comic cartoon theme decor. Great for families with kids. We arrived early, but they have luggage storage lockers (~1 euro for 6 hours). Beside the lockers is a nice play room (which includes free arcade style games) and play-cubes/mats for kids to rest or play. Unfortunately the main elevator was not working for the duration we were there; however, there was a mini one that everyone was trying to use. The room was large; we got a room with a queen bed and twin bunk bed. The bathroom was nice/clean and even included a towel dryer (haven’t seen that in a while). Grand Place is about 2 stops on the metro, or ~20 min walk (Lemonnier station is the closest to the hotel). On the third floor they have a microwave and water cooler where you can fill sparkling or still water bottles (provided in the room). The room did not come with a fridge. The neighbourhood was quiet at night. There are a couple of restaurants beside the hotel if you want lunch or dinner. We got breakfast included which was decent; the only suggestion we would have is to perhaps have some alternative meat options (like turkey or chicken) and have them labelled. The rest of the pastries/eggs/fruits/ breads and drinks were really good. Guelly at the reception was amazing and extremely helpful when we asked for help.

We spent a long weekend at Yooma Urban Lodge in Brussels and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Gare du Midi / Brussel-Zuid station and not too far from the Grand-Place, Manneken Pis and other tourist attractions. The hotel itself is, of course, cartoon-themed and each room has its own 'character' identity. It is novel and fun! Breakfasts were good. There is a pool table and a sauna (which we did not try out) and a little shop selling cartoon-related items. The service was very good: friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and well-equipped. In conclusion, I would recommend Yooma Urban Lodge for couples and families.

Trevligt hotell, massa tecknade figurer på väggar m.m. som barn verkligen verkade gilla. Rummet var fint och hade balkong i bra läge. Helt ok spa med ångbastu och vanlig bastu. Bra läge, 10 minuter gång från busstationen, 15 minuter till Grand Palace.

Stayed here for my birthday with my partner and had a wonderful time, lots of room and was accessible for my wheelchair. The shower was a bit broken but it still worked so it was fine. Really lovely helpful staff, great entertainment and facilities, and was walkable into the town centre. Would definitely stay here again, thank you so much!

The room was spotless and spacious, they really did put a thought into the interior. It was worth the price we paid. Was a bit disappointed with the spa as the Steam room wasn't working . But overall a very good Hotel.

It was okay but keep in mind it’s a family-oriented hotel so you’ll definitely hear your neighbors walls are really thin. Cleanliness wasn’t great the bathroom smelled strongly of urine and there were questionable marks on the walls. The cleaning staff does come by but they mostly just refill toiletries and make the bed don’t expect a deep clean.

Unser Zimmer war nicht nur makellos sauber, sondern auch äußerst clever und ansprechend gestaltet. Inspiriert von der Welt der Comics und des Grafikdesigns, bot es eine frische und inspirierende Atmosphäre. Das absolute Highlight für unsere Kinder war das stylishe Etagenbett, das sofort zum Abenteuerspielplatz wurde und für leuchtende Augen sorgte. Es ist erfrischend zu sehen, wie ein Hotel die Bedürfnisse von Familien so kreativ in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Die Betten waren bequem und das Zimmer bot trotz kompakter Größe genügend Raum für uns alle. Allerdings konnte das Frühstück nicht mit dem hohen Standard der Zimmer mithalten. Die Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen waren leider nur unterer Durchschnitt. Das Angebot war recht überschaubar und die Präsentation wenig ansprechend. Hier besteht definitiv Potenzial nach oben, um das Gesamterlebnis abzurunden. Der größte Minuspunkt, der jedoch außerhalb der Kontrolle des Hotels liegt, ist die direkte Umgebung. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There are individual paid lockers for luggage storage which were convenient and safe. We had a family room with parents and children separated by sliding barn-style doors. The only quibble was the washroom was through the parents room, the main portion separated by a frosted (not opaque) sliding door, so not ideal if travelling with teens. But it was only one night for us, so manageable. A short walk from Brussels Midi and to the tram station, or walkable to the Grand-Place and area.

We stayed two nights and it was extremely noisy both nights. We are not people that complain, but after two hours of constant partying from across our window we complained at 11pm. The partying didn’t stop until after 12am, even after we were told the issue would be fixed. That was the first night. The second night young adults were running up and down stairs, jumping and yelling in the hallways from 9pm-12am. We didn’t bother complaining about this disturbance until checking out of the hotel. The staff person didn’t offer a remedy for the disturbances we experienced both nights. It would have been nice to receive a discount off of my bill. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean and family friendly. We’re a family of 3 and had a YOOMA for 4 and had plenty of space. My son loved the bunk beds! The full bed was not comfortable as everything sunk inward. The room stayed very dark with blackout curtains but the windows are not soundproof so you can hear street noise and talking outside. We never ate there but the food smelled and looked amazing! The location is very walkable to the Midi train station (~8 min) and Grand Palace (~20 min). There is a bit of construction and a lot of closed store fronts on the walks to both the Palace and train station, so the area may feel somewhat sketchy but we felt safe.

We booked a family room. The toilet door can’t be close tightly, it’s a sliding door and it leaves a gap of 5 inches. Inconvenient for people taking bath.

The Comic theme was very unique, which we loved. We had the 6 person unit and found it very comfortable for our group of 5. The weather was very warm during our visit & the air conditioning had a hard time cooling the room.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and spacious. The reception staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the midi train station and The Grand Place. Being close to the trian station the area immediately surrounding the hotel is rundown and felt unsafe. We did not go out after dark.

An amazing hotel, quirky, clean, the kids didn’t stop talking about it the rest of our trip, the staff were brilliant and interacted with the children as well as us, it was so nice to find a hotel that we could be a family of 6 (2a, 4c) in one room too!

Erstens: Am 29. haben wir eine Mitarbeiterin nach dem Frühstück gefragt. Uns wurde gesagt, das Frühstück sei geschlossen, obwohl noch über 30 Minuten Frühstückszeit übrig waren. Keine Erklärung, kein Entgegenkommen – einfach abgewiesen. Das ist schlichtweg unprofessionell und wirkt absichtlich irreführend. Zweitens (noch schlimmer): Am 28. gegen 02:00 Uhr nachts kam ich ins Hotel und fragte einen männlichen Mitarbeiter, ob das Zimmer freigegeben sei. In diesem Moment war eine kleine Dame, die dringend auf die Toilette wollte. Der Mitarbeiter verhielt sich extrem respektlos, aggressiv und unmenschlich. Er hat die Dame nicht einmal auf die Toilette gelassen und schrie nur mehrfach: „Raus! Raus!“ So ein Verhalten ist absolut inakzeptabel, respektlos und beschämend – besonders in einem Hotel, das vorgibt, Gäste willkommen zu heißen. Kein Respekt, kein Service, keine Menschlichkeit. Terrible service. I needed to reschedule due to a friend getting terribly sick with potential bowel cancer and they would not move the date of my booking. Totally inflexible and insensitive in response saying I could've booked a flexible rate. Would not recommend. Yes I could've booked a Flexi date but we didn't need to as you don't expect something like a potential cancer scare. Will not recommend or book again. Other hotel on our trip was booked the same way and allowed me to reschedule and now has me staying for a week as a result. Short sighted service.

The hotel itself was perfect, especially the family room (we had a room for 5) which was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely. It was a 5 minute walk to the Midi train station and 15-20 minute walk to the Grand-Place, which was also very convenient. However, the area in which the hotel is situated is very dirty, with piles of trash in the streets. There was also quite a bit of loud construction in the area. We would not have felt safe walking back to the hotel at night in this area (and were specifically advised not to), which did limit our evening plans.

Chambre parfaite pour 6 et personnel très accueillant. Le seul point faible de l hôtel est le quartier. 15 minutes seulement à pied du centre-ville mais avec 4 enfants en soirée, nous n étions pas rassurés de rentrer a pied.

The room was the perfect size for a one night stay in Brussels. Loved the arcade room for the kids and the rooftop area, it served as our dining spot when we brought food back to the hotel. There are charging ports for phones on each bed which was awesome for our family of 6. The area around the hotel did not feel safe at night. My husband saw an empty purse on the street adjacent to the hotel. So travel in a group at night or wait until morning when it feels safer.

Neighborhood was sketchier than expected after my pre-booking research. On our initial arrival to the nearest subway station, watched a woman get pickpocketed as we exited to the street (her husband caught the guy and got her phone back after I pointed the culprit out), then we were accosted across the street by some intimidate us into a position where they could steal from us (didn’t work). But once we arrived at the hotel, the property was lovely, the front desk staff was very nice and quickly got us checked in and off to our room. Just avoid arriving at night and it should be perfectly safe.

Die Terrassen laden zum Verweilen ein, und sogar eine versteckte Mikrowelle zum Aufwärmen von Snacks gibt es. Die Badewanne ist ein Traum, die Betten herrlich bequem. Die Lage ist perfekt für einen Stadtbesuch, auch wenn die direkte Umgebung etwas speziell ist – das war uns aber bekannt. Einziger Wermutstropfen: das Frühstück. Hier gibt es definitiv noch viel Luft nach oben.

I stayed with my wife and two kids and they loved the hotel. The cartoon themed rooms and lobby were fantastic to look at. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. They recommended places to dine and where to find a grocery store. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. We’d stay there again!

A great hotel with a very fun theme. Staff was very kind and helpful, and the room quality and amenities were excellent, dryer for clothes could be better. General location is fine, neighborhood wise could be better (not a point against the hotel) but there is a nearby tram to take you to the City Center. Very friendly welcome, all the rooms are comic themed and individual. The bed was very comfortable and the room a good size, with a bath and shower, and plenty of storage. It was very quiet (no road noise or noise from other guests) and had air con which was very welcome as it was quite hot when we visited. The room also had a kettle and coffee machine, and there is a fridge in the visitors eating area on the 3rd floor. We didn't eat in the hotel, so can't comment on the food, but here are a couple of really nice eateries on the same street and a microbrewery that is open as a pub on Friday and Saturday nights. It's well placed for the Midi train station, less than 10 mins walk.
