We love the Cambria Hotel Templeton. We've stayed there a few times and have always had a perfect experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with great beds. The pool and hot tub are clean and surrounded by lots of lounge chairs. The pool is larger than most hotel pools and kept at a perfect temperature. Diana and everyone else at the front desk are super helpful and accommodating and the two female bartenders are great. Also, the fitness area has everything we needed, including yoga mats. The location is near lots of restaurants and shops. We plan to stay here often in the future.

Bathroom barn door very heavy and hard to open/close. Dimming of bathroom mirror light did not work. To pay $10 for parking in a rural area such as that is somewhat ridiculous and detracts from the experience.

I had such a great experience staying here! Since the hotel is brand new, I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially with no reviews available yet. I called ahead to ask some questions and found out they had only opened a couple of weeks ago, which explained the lack of online feedback. The room was spotless and stylish, and the bathroom was modern and well-kept. The staff really made the stay special. Everyone was warm, professional, and eager to help. There aren’t a ton of restaurants nearby, but the hotel has a small snack section, and they offer both breakfast and dinner with a wide selection of choices. Our bathroom lights did not work for 2 days. 2 requests put in. At the end of the 2nd night, they offered to move us. We declined as we were leaving early next morning. Asked for housekeeping at 9am. We returned to a dirty room at 6pm. They then asked us to step out if we wanted the room cleaned. Asking for fresh towels was a chore. There were 3 people in the hallway cleaning, no greeting from anyone. Went in out from front desk, no greeting. They had no customers. Just head bent down The elevator, both of them moan and groan. This is relatively a new building.. I expected better.. the property is clean and the pool area is fab. Customer service has a lot to be desired. Needs a new management team.

No cell service while at the hotel. Most uncomfortable pillows I have ever slept on and they don’t have options. This is sad because I believe the bed may have been comfortable. However since my neck and head hurt so bad from the pillows it’s hard to tell. I actually ended up with a headache so bad I extended my stay one more day as I didn’t feel comfortable driving and felt like it would be a good idea to relax and rest. I called the front desk and was given a fairly high price so I said I would book through the third party. They tried to tell me the room would be $116 through them but they did not include taxes and fees. I said I could book for $111 and the manager swore that didn’t include taxes or fees. It did and the manager tried to tell me it was again a better deal to book direct. I guess we know why he’s not a financial planner. The previous two nights the tv glitched in and out but the extended night it lost all service and front desk said “yeah it’s like a blanket issue and some TVs aren’t working”. So now I stayed to relax and the only form of entertainment is non working. The showers don’t get hot enough and the lights are so dim in the bathroom you can barely see. This may be a new property but it has a ways to go before I would stay here again.

The man at the breakfast place made up for the whole thing that went wrong. At the check in we were given zero info about time for the pool or breakfasts, etc. The lady was no very nice - all business. There was a gentlemen at the desk too who latee was very nice and helpful when I came back to ask for info. During night time water started dripping from the selling so we had to clean it all up since hotel was fully booked. The gentleman at breakfast made kids and I feel super welcomed. He told us what places to visit around. He is an amazing employee. Thank you

Morning/afternoon front desk staff had poor communications skills. We arrived at 2:30p and were told we’d have to pay $45 to check in early. We decided to leave our bags with the woman working the front desk and she didn’t offer to help with the tags, nothing. Not a good first impression. Also, they had one waitress at breakfast and it was impossible to get a table, so we left.

Hotel was beautiful and new. Very convenient. Staff helpful and cordial. Just a little reminder at end of stay that we would have appreciated more than two cups and coffee discs. Had to find housekeeper on a few days to get more since we were there for almost a week. Suggested they put more in initially or replenish daily. Only other issue was loud grating noise when pulling sliding bathroom door closed. Appeared to just need some oil! Staff took note of these issues as we checked out and said they’d pass on. Overall, though, was lovely hotel and will stay there again!

The stay was amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was great 👍 The only criticism i have was there food. Not the best. I order chicken wings for lunch/dinner time and it was not good at all the chicken was raw and undercooked i didnt even try to finish it and i still got very sick. Other than there food, everything else was great.
