Best Western Inn & Suites

Our room was clean. Must use stairs to get to the second floor. No elevator. Breakfast was not too shabby. Staff was friendly.

This motel is very dirty. The hallways have not been vacuumed to the point there were toenail clippings matted down. There is no elevator and no AC in the hallway either. The room had been poorly wiped down but the beds are comfortable.

This is a decent hotel with some fairly nice rooms. The beds were comfy and went above expectations. There weren’t many other frills, but we had a good stay. The location is not bad, especially if you need access to Walmart. There were also several fast food places nearby. Seemed like most of the restaurants were farther away I’m surrounding towns. In terms of negatives, there were two main things: no elevator and the outside key scanners to open the external doors barely worked. The employees even acknowledged this issue. I could scan the card 5 to 7 times and not have any luck. It was annoying, especially when loading and unloading since there is little parking near the front entrance. For the price, this was a decent facility for an overnight stay.

Under construction, no microwave in rooms and the website said it did. No ice machines only on one floor.

I have stayed here twice now. Love the staff. Only issue i have is each time i have stayed the pool is never open. Other then that very convient to stores and places to eat within walking distance. I defiently would stay again. Rooms ate clean. Housekeeping every day. Hot breakfast every morning.

This Best Western was conveniently located for our visit to family on the military base nearby. There were several department and grocery store within walking distance from the hotel. Several fast food restaurants were also nearby. The room was quiet and we found the bedding to be comfortable. Cons: The exterior trash cans were left full and running over all weekend. The hot breakfast wasn’t all that hot and the hot waffle machine was broken for our complete stay. The exterior north door card reader didn’t work so you had to walk all the way around to the front entrance if you parked in the back where most of the parking is at. Our room was good all but the musty odor that you smelled as soon as you opened the door each time, and the carpet in the room and hallway needed to be cleaned and vacuum better. Overall, we would stay here again if needed and hope the correction have been made for the deficiencies.

Charged me twice for the room. Wasn’t told that they didn’t have an elevators, and the pool was closed.

Well, to start with your elevator, don’t work the side door key don’t work the key to the room. You have to get a new one every day don’t know when the last time they vacuum the stairs no clean towels for two days. Garbage was emptied. Hope I never have to stay there again.

Great hotel for the price! The only negative thing about the property: There was no elevator. I'm not saying that the elevator was broken. The building actually had NO elevator.

The check in with Heidi was slow but she very personable. The overnight attendant was compassionate. I went to him at around 4 AM because I found bedbugs in my bed. He refunded my room and changed me to another one. He told me I would need to speak to his manager in the morning. I could not fall back to sleep because I was itching, the bumps were burning and my nerves wouldn't let me rest so I went down for breakfast at 7 AM and the morning attendant was discussing the incident with the night attendant and she was talking really loud with other guests in the area. I walked up and she was saying "why would you refund the room? I don't understand that. You moved her that was enough. " I said " ma'am, I'm right here." She said "so how can I help you?" I explained that I was supposed to speak with the manager and she said "she's not here, I'll talk to her when she comes and we'll reach out to you." That never happened. I came downstairs and asked for the manager. I was asked what I wanted and I said it was about the bedbugs so she went to get the manager. The manager told me that they spray for bedbugs occasionally and she didn't understand why the night attendant gave me a refund. She said she was willing to refund half of the room since I moved to the other room. I asked her to send me a detailed email of our conversation but she only sent that she needed 3 - 5 business days to process the transaction. I usually stay at this hotel only but after this I won't be back.

The first room I was given had blood splatter above the couch. When I asked the front desk if someone was killed in the room the lady responded with a question. “Was the room not cleaned”. Which I feel was not an answer to my question. I was moved to another room. Every day when I returned to my room I had to get a new key card. After 4 times of this it became a little frustrating. The room was never cleaned during my 3 night stay. Each day I had to go downstairs to retrieve my own towels. The last morning I personally asked the cleaning lady to attend to my room. Very disappointed in my overall experience with this hotel. While I’m at it. Here are a list of additional problems I encountered. Toilet seat was very loose and unsafe. Bathroom sink was very slow draining. Bathroom was dirty upon our arrival. Thankfully my wife always travels with Lysol wipes.

The rug in the rooms had spots on it, the chairs in kitchen have ugly stains on them. My wife was wearing shorts looked down and was disgusted. Your staff is very professional ,courteous and accommodating. I had to change my rooms due to no elevator , my mother unlawful is disabled..mystay was pleasant.

I've stayed here twice in 1 month. The first time there was clumps of hair on the wall, showing it wasnt cleaned. The rest of the room was ok. This time around, there was used bars of soap and shampoo bottles left in the tub and used towels left in the room. The room smelled of old smoke.

Saw multiple roaches; one huge dead one in the hallway that sat there for at lest 16 hours. First room smelled damp and musty and like stale cigarettes. Second, just damp and musty. Carpets heavily stained.

For the low cost this was a great option. The breakfast was great. The conversations with the staff were good, very friendly and helpful during our 2 nights there. Would definitely stay again. The matresses could use some updating but still sleepable.

The lady who worked the night shift at the front desk was friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. The room was spacious though the TV and couch could use an upgrade!

We spent 5 days and 6 nights. All the employees were very courteous and personable. The daily breakfast was really good. We expected cold cereal and fruit. We had bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, waffles.in addition to cold cereal and other choices. Pleasantly surprised by the selection. I would say my only 2 complaints would be 1) no fan in the bathroom so well you know…… 2) the tv needs to be updated to a smart tv.

Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Front desk person moved us to 1st floor because no elevator which we really appreciated. We walked in the evening as there are sidewalks- that’s not always the case by hotels. Continental breakfast was ok. Nice maintained place.

Our bed “sunk” in the middle and you could feel springs. Couch was worn as well. If you like a dark room this was not the room for you. When the sun came up the ”lights” were on. I was disappointed because the reviews were pretty good overall. Maybe it’s just this room-200

The bed was the most comfortable we have had in a very long time! The breakfast was also very good! It was very quiet too! My only complaint is there was no elevator and both my husband and I have bad knees!

We were first checked into a room that I don't think was turned down, there was trash everywhere and the bed wasn't made. The front desk was very apologetic, she got us into a different room right away. The room was extremely spacious. The TV did keep losing satellite service, but overall it was a pleasant day

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice. Location was great for our purpose. The room had a large dark stain on carpet and candy was on the floor when we got in our room. Back door would bot open from outside and bed mattress was caved in the middle.

Within walking distance of Walmart and HEB. Super quiet!

The manager was fabulous and made our stay wonderful. Definitely will stay there again!!

This visit was terrible. we were traveling with two kids (10&4) and it was after 11 o’clock before we could get into another hotel. This was a nightmare. The first room we went to she couldn’t get the key to work. Then she tried three more rooms and couldn’t get a key to work. When she did finally get a key to work in a room, the pullout sofa had rusted shut and could not be opened. She then moved us to a final room which we thought was OK but wasn’t the best and we would try to check out the next day. However, we quickly found out we were wrong the pull out and this one did work, but it was not a full mattress Underneath the mattress were Band-Aid rappers and lots of dirt. When opening the sheets that were provided for the mattress, we found a bug in them. There was hair in the shower and on the towel when we asked for a refund because we would not be staying there that night she was told she could not refund us for the night, though we had not done anything. Weeks later, we were finally refunded after multiple calls to not only the hotel but Expedia.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and caring from the front desk to the cleaning personnel. Great breakfast to help you start your day off good!

This place is Awesome!! They have the Friendliest Staff that sees to your needs, they do extra on this. These ppl deserve praise on their hard work, we were very impressed, all guest staying there was commenting on how great the service was & the hotel itself.

Staff very courteous and clean room.

So clean and spacious. We had to vacate another hotel in the middle of the night because of roaches, maggots and moldy food left in the room from the previous guests. The young woman at the Best Western front desk was beyond sweet and kind. She quickly got us a clean room. I'm highly recommending this hotel to other Military families.

Just a bit hard to get to because of construction on the main road. Not their fault. The property is clean. The staff was very welcoming and the room was perfect.

Convenient, clean, and safe. Staff was very nice. There was a nice variety for breakfast.

Our bathroom had water pooring from ceiling due to room above us. Rather than sleeping in we had to get up and move rooms. Asked for a late checkout and was told it would be an extra charge. One door to outside was kept propped open at all times. Key card for room kept deactivating. Road work had street closed down so we had to go out of the way to get to main street. Wife got propositioned to purchase narcotics when she went outside to get something from the car.

There was rd construction in front of property that I wish I’d known about but very convenient for shopping and meals

I like how close the hotel is to restaurants and stores. Almost everything you could need is within walking distance

Everything was excellent except they could use more parking in the front. There are only about 8 parking spaces. The rest are in the back of the building which could use more lighting and is lined with trees with a vacant lot behind it. Seems unsafe Also for anyone with a handicap, the only way to the second floor is by stairs, there are not any elevators in this hotel

Pull out bed was broken and had nasty staining all over it. Crickets everywhere and people outside on the sidewalk getting high….

The bed was the most comfortable we have had in a very long time! The breakfast was also very good! It was very quiet too! My only complaint is there was no elevator and both my husband and I have bad knees!

The inside was great! Spotlessly clean everywhere. The breakfast was well prepared and always hot plus the coffee was delicious! The outside of the hotel was a little rough around the edges but it was very hot outside! 103° The staff was so helpful and friendly. Overall a great stay and would stay again next time we're in town.
