Great location, walk to everything downtown, convenient parking and EV charging.

Good location, near enough to all to walk to most everything. Hot tub currently broken, but that didn't bother me

With a great view of the garden, spacious room with couch and super soft bed, Tesla chargers, and a short walk to Lithia Park - this place is perfect for us! The free breakfast is pretty good too: bacon, scrambled eggs, yogurt, oranges/bananas and a waffle maker. Only a couple minor down sides: tiny bottles of shampoo etc rather than built in large bottles, plastic water glasses and a really narrow driveway down to the chargers. Nothing to change our minds, though. A great place to stay.

Chose this hotel because it said they had electric vehicle parking but you had to go down to the scary basement that was basically impossible to drive out of without scratching your car and then only had Tesla chargers.

The lower level parking needed to be better we'll let. Very dark.

Walking distance tothe Shakespeare Festval was clearly the reason we chose to come back to the Plaza. The EV underground parking also was a good perk. We kiked the idea of having the breakfast, but

I picked this hotel mainly for the Tesla chargers which are a great perk. However, the ramp to the basement of the parking lot where the chargers are located is very narrow. I had a lot of trouble maneuvering my Model Y. If you plan to use the chargers, I recommend only doing so if you have the Model 3. Otherwise the hotel was fine. Not outstanding, but comfortable enough. Apologies for this review being very narrowly focused.

Sad the jacuzzi was not working. I booked for the jacuzzi. I think there should be a discount when advertised amenities are not working. Location was excellent. Staff very friendly.

I like that it is right near downtown, it makes for a nice, walk able afternoon. It was close to the theater for our play. Overall a very nice hotel. The only bad part was parking. The lot is small and cramped. It is designed really only for compact cars. I drive an Expedition. There is not enough enough non-compact car parking by even half. That said, we parked on the street the first night and it was fine.

Would have been five stars but the property's card key system kept failing - that is, the cards had to be reset several times during our visit. Staff was super helpful in helping with it, but it was still painful.

Check in was ordinary, we didn’t utilize any of the property except our room which was in bad shape. We were put in the separate building. The floor had huge nasty stains, someone had also dropped a cup of coffee which was splattered on the wall and baseboard. The rooms was very dated and the top of the microwave was covered in thick dust. They need better housekeeping and a remodel.

Upon arrival the check in was fine but when we got to the room our bath towels actually had dirt, make up and other stuff on them. I asked for another room and was given one. The desk apologized but didn’t seem surprised. When give another room the bed sheet either had stains or were dirty. Very awful place.

I usually love this place, but this time they put us in the separate building with the dog owners, even though we do not have a dog. The bathtub in the room had ants in it and there was a blood stain on the sheets. This was a little disappointing and we hope that if we return, they will put us back in the main building.

Rooms in this property is aged and it shows. Our room specifically, wasn't cleaned out property (half drunk soda can lying around), some lights didn't work and TV was definitely old. So it was just an ok stay, I am not sure if I would choose to return. The upside was that the location was ideal and conveniently located, walking distance to the dining options.

The hotel was very clean and conveniently located within walking distance to the theater and downtown. The staff was friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

on the second day of our two-night stay, we requested a housekeeping refresh of our room twice and never received one. Late our second night I had to go to the Front Desk to get more coffee pods and soap and shampoo.

Cool location, room 104 was dirty

Easy check/in process. The room was spotless and comfortable. Extra blankets by the couch made watching tv a pleasant experience.

Staff was courteous and friendly, but overall property was a bit old and not dirty but cluttered with crumbs and leaves in the carpet and towels a bit musty. Great location and while not in the heart of Ashland, very close!

We have stayed in this hotel before but this time the room was not clean, the breakfast was nothing to be desired and the hall reeked of smoke. The front desk was welcoming and the grounds were well kept.

The hotel is located close to downtown. The one thing I disliked was the pillows they were hard so I had a hard time sleeping.

Four day stay to see plays. Easy walking distance to OSF. Parking was easy. Nice breakfast with a peaceful outdoor space. Room was spacious and we loved having 2 comfortable chairs. Pillows were meh but the bed was comfortable. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom. Wifi worked well but it was funny that they still had ethernet connections. Reception space had a local winery with tastings.

The location was extremely close to the downtown area, which was great for us as we were down there specifically for the Cabaret shows. It was wonderfully walkable and in a very quiet area. They had a pretty nice breakfast with a bit more variety than others we've had in Ashland, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable for us. That is probably the main issue we had with the location overall: just the beds. Overall I'd recommend this hotel!

In a good location Room was small but the property was nice

Ther was very loud thumping coming from the footsteps of the room above me. This happened late into the evening and also early in the morning

A clean and spacious room with a comfy bed. A block from food, shopping and theater area. We come to Ashland a couple of times a year, and usually stay here.

TV did not offer the channels that card stated it did. No premiums like HBO. A/C was SUPER loud (old unit) Tiny room.

Comfortable, large, quiet room. Easy walk downtown. Friendly staff. Only negatives were uncomfortable pillows and unappetizing breakfast. Same thing every day and not high quality.

The check-in was easy, the room was excellant, very clean with plenty of towels. The room had coffee, microwave and refrigerator ready to go along with a comfortable bed.

Staff was great, cleaned room and left fresh towels, etc. everyday. Room was spacious. Great location. Great breakfast.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and when I walked into my room after check in and smelt smoke, I immediately called the desk. I was immediately moved into a different room without hassle. The upgraded room had a fireplace but it didn’t work, sadly. The only negative is the underground parking. It’s dark. The sharp turn to get out isn’t easy either. However, I felt my car full of college student’s belongings was safe in the underground area. I’d stay here again.

I arrived a few minutes before 9pm to check in. My husband and I were exhausted after working all day and driving for 3 hours with our two children and were anxiously awaiting going to sleep. There was no one at the front desk, but there was a sign saying they would be right back and to call a number for assistance if I didn't want to wait. I waited a few minutes and when no one arrived I called. No one answered and no voicemail picked up. Over the next 10 minutes I called 7 times and no one answered. I wandered around calling out asking if anyone was there. I rang the bell on the counter repeatedly. Approximately 15 minutes after I arrived a woman finally arrived, claiming she was helping fix a washing machine but smelling strongly of cigarettes. I said I was beginning to wonder if anyone was working and was getting ready to leave and try to find a different hotel after waiting 15 minutes. She got defensive and rude and said she was only gone for 7 minutes and needed to help fix the washer due to being short staffed. My phone clearly shows I called for over 10 minutes and she reeked of cigarettes. Obviously, she was on a smoke break. I would have appreciated an apology instead of being rude and making excuses for her absence. I have traveled extensively around the world and never had an experience like this one. Great breakfast, quiet, walkable. Exhaust fans in the bathroom would be nice.

Leland checked us in and he was excellent. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable of the local area. All is well at this property except the television company they use for guests. It has tons of channels that don't show much more than was produced after 1960. They have to be saving a lot of money by contracting with whomever their TV supplier is. We will not stay here again for this reason alone. Other than that the hotel is fine.

The Plaza Inn and Suites is consistently a great place to stay. Easy to walk around Ashland from there. Pleasant staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

Room smelled and was the wrong room type, dual queen vs a deluxe king. I tried to get the front desk to explain why the discrepancy, the manager on duty was rude and refused to do anything even dramatically threw her arms up as I walked away.. we tried to check in at 3 pm but we’re turned away being told check in is 4 pm. We sat in the lobby for about an hour all the while about 10 other rooms were checked in..?! After about ten we returned to the front desk to ascertain why are we waiting while others are checking in, no explanation - we then we’re checked in to the wrong room. I called Hotels.com as we booked the stay via the app. They tried to contact the hotel but after 25 minutes of waiting on hold they gave up. I do not recommend this hotel anymore and further we believe they should be removed from the app! One picture says it all, nice view of the disgusting hot tub for ducks???

Staff seemed poorly trained - could not answer questions about how to get around the hotel, where the exits were to access various locations around Ashland and dining options. The hotel itself is laid out in a very confusing manner. It's easy to get lost and staff provided no help. Nice woman conducting wine tasting in the lobby but when I attempted to buy a bottle the front desk staff did not know where to look for the wine or that it should be in a refrigerator keeping it cold. Then they could not ring up the purchase on the computer. I finally paid cash directly to the tasting woman. Very noisy my last night. Young people running and yelling in the hallways and slamming doors @ 11:30 at night. I could hear it all through my door/walls.

Never stayed in a hotel where they wouldn't let you check out a little late, even if you paid them a fee, and they didn't seem a whole apologetic. Sort of annoyed by the question, even. About what you would expect otherwise for the price, though.

Check-in was delayed, in our case by 45 minutes, but we were just one of many guests who had to wait. The front desk admitted to being short of housekeeping staff. But our room was quite clean and pleasant. The grounds and location are quite nice, so we're willing to overlook the late check-in. Breakfast was good (not great). All things considered, we would stay there again.

Great location for restaurants, shops, Lithia Park as and of course the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Always enjoy staying at the Plaza Inn. Walk to Shakespeare and many dining and shopping options nearby.

Easy walking to downtown Ashland in 3 blocks, sited next to a stream for soothing open window sounds at night, lovely room, great breakfast, too!

Breakfast food options were disappointing! Not sure if it's always like this or if it was because hotel had so few guests. Most places we have been staying at have had a very nice breakfast selection.

Nice room- clean and close to venues and shopping. Breakfast the first day was cold (sausages, eggs and biscuits). Better the next day.

The location could not be beat. Check-in was chaotic and took twenty minutes when it should have taken two. Our room was just fine, except that the sink shot water out against the backsplash whenever we turned the water on fully. The place isn't really prepared to handle tours; several came and went during our stay. The breakfast room has about twelve tables (more out on the deck), and there were two dozen people standing around waiting for plates so they could serve themselves; others were trying to find places to sit but couldn't. Tip: show up extremely early for breakfast.

Beautiful property. Great staff. Friendly, helpful housekeeping staff. 90% positive review. Could be better: Beds are not very comfortable. Breakfast at 9 a.m. and most items were gone or not replenished. Not a lot of variety for breakfast items

The breakfast was lousy. No fruit, no oatmeal. Toaster broken. Eggs tasted bad. Completely different than before. No cookies and tea after plays. Not a big desk but disappointing.

The room was nice but the window opened all the way with no screen or stopper. I reported that. Breakfast was very BAD! I have had better at Motel 6. There was no oatmeal, no bagels...does anyone eat biscuits and gravy anymore? As a vegetarian it was slim pickins.

The room and staff are always just fine. The breakfast is lovely (and a nice incentive to stay with you.) However, having a hot vegan option (e.g. oatmeal, porridge, cream of wheat, etc.) would be especially nice. Thank you.

The continental breakfast is very substantial and is open from 7-10am which is great. It is unfortunate that they have gone to a pay model for late night treats - they used to have free cookies as an after performance treat which was lovely.
